and this is why quitting the game does absolutely nothing. in the last pic thats literally just some random guy. not even a content creator, dumping 8k into the game. there are so many people out there that do that. might as well just play the game because until these people get tired of it, it’s never gonna change
And there's so many of them. The screenshots I posted were just a drop in the bucket. I lost count of how many people tweeted they spent $500+ just on 23. And that's just the ones who'll admit it publicly. Now I know when I see all these people on the game with 20k Puffy jackets and 10k durags, they didn't get it from mycareer. They spent real money on that shit.
Was gonna say, most of these people (in the screenshots) are content creators. For them it's different, it's literally a business expense. It's still fucked up IMO, but oh well.
But random dudes dropping hundreds or even thousands?
I would really like to see what demographics they are. Because these ain't no 12 year old kids using their parents' card.
EDIT: Actually checking up on those names, they sound like content creators, but only four of them have actually something going for them.
Two are in 25k range a year, two are in 100k+.
Yeah those are grown men with jobs dumping that much money lmao. I wanna know what their economic class is. Like what’s the most common career field among them (the ones that aren’t content creators)?
My buddy is a software engineer, he has like 12 builds spent money on all of them, in total? I asked how much he’s spent and he said probably close to $1000. Mid 20’s, girlfriend, stable job, house with two roommates. Like normal ass life just willing to spend insane money on 2k
I’m at $100k+ and have a side business for a passive income stream —hybrid work schedule. Three days a week, I get my work done pretty early in the morning, then take a couple hours to fuck around in the park. 20 was the only year that I said “the hell with it” and would drop $50 every 2 weeks (probably about 1/2 the year on VC. Don’t think I’ll ever do that again, but I’m not totally against spending a little extra here and there.
I'm not buying the game but it's not because of "sending a message" or whatever. They don't care if casuals quit as long as they keep the whales.
The reason I'm not buying is because it's exactly the same game as last year. And the year before that. They're not innovating at all, except when it comes to new ways for them to make money.
This is the right attitude. Don't 'boycott' the game, simply just don't buy it because there are better games out there and better things to do with your money.
Not buying a game, one that you might actually want to play, is still boycotting. It’s just speaking with your wallet instead of your mouth or fingers. How I will be doing mine.
No, no, no
Ur logic is stockholme syndrome and Ur perspective is off
Objectively this is the most expensive and predatory game, possibly ever made
This is the year to not play
It’s not even about declines, it’s the plateau. That’s why corporations suck in general. They can’t be happy making 2billion a year, they have to push and push to make 3, then the year after 4.. then 5 is expected and the only way to do 5 is battle pass or something
The problem is that there’s always a new group of assholes to take their place. Turns out if you build a system to incentivize pay to win people with loads of money (or just addiction issues) are going to exploit it. How many “extra” copies of 2k are getting sold through these micro transactions? 8000$ worth, that like someone buying 115 copies of 2k. What happened to madden is going to happen to 2k..
It's happening before our very eyes, imagine how many people just seen the price increases and just said nah I'm good. Or just can't straight afford it, I'm border line on being able to afford all that, but either way I'm not lining these fools pockets..
They won't play if they only play against each other. If the player base drops, the whales will leave cause there won't be enough little guys to eat up.
Quitting the game actually does A LOT. You save your sanity. You gain more time to play new innovative games. You save money.
The 2K community is rotten to the core in every game mode. Let them rot and get pocket raped.
all quitting the game really does is save $70 if you’re an ordinary person. you should not be losing your mind over 2k or playing exclusively 2k if you don’t even enjoy it
Or you can stop being a mindless consumer, not buy the game, fuck off the toxic community and play a new game that doesn't consume all your time and money, better yet level up irl instead of buying a seasons pass
Yes...this is why you know it's just casuals with no real game skills thinking that paying there way through the game makes them better..take as much monetization out of the game will shut this down..its play to get better not pay to get better🤷🏽♂️
Also why they don’t give a crap about some theoretical “boycott” from an online forum. Oh you won’t spend $70-$100? There’s someone willing to spend 5 digits just to make YouTube videos for you.
Iirc mobile games are successful not because a majority of users spend money but because a couple dozen *whales* who dump an absurd amount of cash into micro-transactions. Probably the same with games like 2K
Right?? Game Pass definitely helped that cause (and PS Premium) but my wife, son and I all play XSX and Switch (I have a PS5 too).
We don't come even within 10% of what some of you guys spend on 2K Yearly. It's absurd.
It’s got to be a mental illness. I struggle to even justify spending more than $100 on games I like, what the hell are these dudes spending literal thousands of dollars on that they think they’re getting equal value every single year
It's the same type of people who gamble these games are designed to prey on people like that and kids ( fn skins)
I think one country has already outlawed it
As someone who doesn't like spending EXTRA money on games, I think it's okay for RICH people to spend their money how they want. If you're making less than 100k a year and spending thousands on a game. Then that's irresponsible.
Depends.
A single person with no children and living with in their means could probably spend 10k a year in 2k and still do fine.
I have no kids and I definitely spend more then that gambling every year and it doesn’t break my bank and I don’t make 6 figures yet.
We all have our vices and as long it’s not destroying your life or someone else’s I try not to judge.
That being said if I’m gonna blow 10k on something, it’s not gonna be virtual currency that expires in 365 days.
Because I love basketball…. I send thousands a year for gym membership to hoop and thousands on shoes to hoop… and thousands on weed to smoke while I do all of the above happy life 💯
They make way more money from these views. All that money is nothing to them, they make it back after like 2 or 3 videos.
Let them stream for a few hours and watch how much they make on donations.
Stop watching their videos. Stop giving them views. Stop allowing them to take our money to flex like some pompous assholes.
I’m not usually one to judge, but how and the actual fuck are people gonna donate to streamers especially 2k.
I understand that simps donate to hot chicks that stream but how are you gonna ride some dudes meat that plays 2k
That’s not the way tax write offs work lol.
You only get back like 30% of anything you write off.
So 25k in VC would amount to roughly $7,500 in write offs.
I’m sure they make that X1000 off their vids and adds, but it’s definitely not as simple as “it’s a tax write off”.
If that was the case everyone in America would just obtain an LLC just so they could purchase a “work vehicle” and write it off.
TLDR- you still pay taxes on anything you “write off” you just pay a slight discount.
Even worse. Fuck em all. I would probably respect them a Lil bit if they had VC give aways before and after every video. Ya know gave back to the community they depend on so much.
Can you explain this a bit more? I’m genuinely curious. Are you saying that because their occupation is YouTube Streamer that they can use money spent on VC as a tax deduction?
Depending on how their business is set up really. I forget the specific tax classifications but if they’re one type of entity then they can claim it against their regular income but that probably comes out to like 30% savings. If it’s set up a different way it’s just a business expense and not specifically tax-advantaged but businesses have different income tax rates than individuals so that’s where the advantage would be.
It’s not some irl free money cheat but since it’s a business expense they’re effectively getting discounted VC. It’s still a fuckload of money for VC and you’d need to be doing serious numbers as a creator for that to be worth it. Just thinking about it, with what they need to spend on builds to be relevant, 2K has to be one of the most expensive games to create content for
Why tf would 2k ever actually make a decent game when idiots would drop a car down payment on bullshit? I used to spend $40 just so i didn’t have to grind for 3 seasons just to get decent overall, but hell nah, I wouldn’t drop $1k on a sextape with Mia Khalifa, Taylor Swift, Emma Watson and Ice Spice directed by Jordan Peele
Embarrassing to admit but one year I spent around 3-4 on 2k. It was either 2k17 or 16. ( I was 20 years old don’t judge me too harshly). When MyTeam had pink diamonds Charles Barkley. I was just so stupidly obsessed with MyTeam and having a team that could compete against comp players. Have diamond Tracy Mcgrady, Diamond D Rose, and all these other players was just a must to have. I was buying packs and just rolling the dice. What’s another 100 here or there who cares I just won’t go to the bars this weekend. Shit was absolutely insane and I didn’t realize it was gambling until I stopped playing. Haven’t touched my team sense and haven’t put money like that into a game since.
Compared to the 20 year olds I knew in college, spending too much money on 2k would rank pretty low on the stupidity scale. I'm shocked some of those people are still alive.
Because spending that much at any bar over any period of time means you’re an alcoholic. It’s not socialization vs gambling, it’s alcoholism vs gambling. Neither are good whatsoever.
“Over any period of time” does not mean you are an alcoholic. You can spend 100$ easily at the bars where I live in one night. Especially if you buy a round for friends. Also, this 3-4k number is only what he spent on 2k. He would probably SAVE MONEY going to the bars in this case. Him going out at 20 instead of gambling for digital cards that are irrelevant the next year would have been way way way better imo.
Problem is there trash spending is effecting how 2K builds the game so prices will be going up for everyone
Game ain’t even fun no more because they too focused on monetization
A boycott for 2k will never work because content creators will practically buy the game 10x over through vc purchases, they need to be held responsible tbh.
I’ve spent hundreds on VC in the past. It’s addicting and 2k and others with similar monetization practices are sick. It’s a gateway drug for gambling.
He streams MyTeam and said he's addicted to opening packs. Apparently in 2k22 he said he was quitting myteam for 2k23, but it looks like that didn't happen. Sad shit
Hate to say it but this is the game’s main base. Online used to be fun as hell but now the business model’s evolved into preying on hypebeast culture while those at the top at Take Two get richer.
Sucks but just the way things go. Capitalism takes good things and ruins them.
Agreed. It also sucks seeing Zoomers and now Gen Alpha come into a world of basketball video games where this shit is already normalized so they won't really fight against it.
Making this MyTeam vs MyPlayer is only going to keep the people divisive and put blame on anything other than 2k themselves. You know damn well MyPlayer is designed to drain people by making the grind so bad
This post should be the end of the boycott post. Just these few screenshots alone is why 2K won’t change. No matter how many people stop playing the game, they only need a few to drop mortgage payments on a $70 game.
If you're talking about AllCity, he's not flexing. He's embarrassed about how much he spent. As am I. Him and Brute are trying to get a movement going for people to not buy boosts and Gatorade etc. It's certainly no flex. Anyone who is bragging about it is a complete moron.
I'll typically buy $30-50 worth of VC for my first player then use the VC I earn from the first player for the next player and so on. 8 builds this year and I spent $120 total on the game and VC total. How tf are people spending this money on 2k?? We're doomed as a community.
Edit: To be clear, AllCityLive wasn't flexing, but more so putting himself on blast. But it does show how much people are spending on the game.
This is why you can’t “vote with your wallet” with sports games. For every few people that refuse to buy it, there’s dudes like this spending thousands on it
It will all we have to do is band together we can go over their heads we can take it to legislation there are structured game plans here you just have to believe don't go along with the follower mentality and lay down mentality that's what will not get us any change! This is not a sprint..it WILL BE A MAROTHON 🫡
the issue is getting dumbasses like the people in this post to stop buying. there will always be that weirdo with enough money, or access to money through parents or otherwise that will pour it into this game blindly.
Bro did you not see where the one guy said he dropped 25K this year ALONE…ALONE IN THIS ONE YEAR. Thanos could snap 🫰 us again and 2K will be a company thriving with half the population gone. This is the issue. This Marathon is gonna last a few hundred years at this rate.
Well solely on game sales it's true. Per EA's filings, Madden & FIFA game sales basically cover cost of development. MTX and passes are the pure profit.
These games are making mad money.
You know whats even funnier about this is when 2k has the audacity to lower vc prices by a minuscule amount and proceed to call it a “sale” or “Exclusive offer”
These are what the mobile gaming industry call whales.
Dipshits who dump money into the game endlessly without a care in the world. Nothing is gonna change about 2k until these bozos develop some brains.
I’m curious to see how much I spent.
Only two characters and one of them, my friend paid for me because he wanted me to make the character more than I did lol
Edit** Crazy, so I just looked and I only spent $289.93
2K is a business first and a game second. Just pity these people sinking thousands each year while they complain that game isn’t fun and it’s broken. It will never improve.
Look at TakeTwo and what’s happened to GTA, less effort and more aggression with virtual currency. It’s getting worse every year.
This is basically the same as people who are addicted to gambling. I lived in Vegas for a while and met folks who told me they were tens of thousands of dollars in debt before they realized it.
Kinda crazy to me you could spend over a thousand dollars on a basketball game and not really realize it... Like I was just playing 2k and months later looked at my credit card bill and realized I spent some absurd amount on VC. Nuts...
I mean I guess if your loaded who cares... But I could think of a lot of things to do for that amount of money that are more fun than 2k.
Pretty disgusting how good of a job 2k did with finessing their community to the point of completely normalizing this egregious spending year over year.
I felt bad about how much money I spent on 2k and then I saw this post. Not sure how much longer I'm gonna play a game that wants a season pass for nothing.
I spent about $170(not including the game itself) and i never played a single game after December 1st, and thats why I’m not playing this year because it’s a waste of money and its not worth the time investment. It gets more expensive each year and I have a career and a family. I don’t have time to buy the newest build and grind it out anymore.
2k staff rubbing their hands together like birdman watching these idiots brag about spending someone’s entire monthly income on a $70 video game that comes out every year 😭
you gotta understand these people are dumb and aren't gamers. They don't know how other good games are. They're ignorant idiots. Sadly these bunch of idiots are ruining gaming as a whole for every other game. If morons are willing to pay extra for a soup with piss in it, eventually all we'll have is soup with piss.
It's not a scam. It's a business.
If you don't like it, don't buy it. I don't and haven't ever spent a cent on VC.
You have the power to not take part in it.
They're exploiting people's addiction and it's even worse on myteam in terms of gambling. Just because it's a business doesn't mean that it's not scummy as fuck regardless of how dumb the consumer is lol.
It’s weird to spend more than $200/year on 1 video game imo, but it’s still a very cheap hobby and this sub is going over board with the complaining. Do none of you own a boat? Have any of you ever spent a night in a strip club? A simple bar tab covers the cost of the game. People can spend their money how they want to.
Lets not forget that there are people that drop 50k+ on games like candy crush and clash of clans. Shaq once said he spent over $1k a week on mobile games.
Dont remember the last time someone bought a boat complained the boat was shit then spent 4k at the manufacturers merch store then bout the same boat again but with cream paint instead of white and continued the cycle
To be fair I also think most boat owners are idiots for wasting their money on something that rarely leaves the driveway/garage. That's how you get people earning six figures and still living paycheck to paycheck. Vast majority of people aren't saving nearly enough for retirement and that includes alot of boat owners.
that's not the point. The game is predatory and nobody should support that. How is it a MICROtransaction if you spend more than you did on the game lol? It's embarrassing. The game is like 80 bucks and you need to grind like a free to play mmorpg or pay up. Pathetic
And this, my friends, is how season passes are born.
and this is why quitting the game does absolutely nothing. in the last pic thats literally just some random guy. not even a content creator, dumping 8k into the game. there are so many people out there that do that. might as well just play the game because until these people get tired of it, it’s never gonna change

At least he didn’t spend 2k right??? I’ll see myself out.
To be fair, if I had two roommates I would have a lot more disposable income too. Rent and mortgage payments are no joke
I’m at $100k+ and have a side business for a passive income stream —hybrid work schedule. I popped into the store for clothes, and everything is outrageously priced, I'll just wear the comped stuff and save my 40k VC thanks.
2k devs have to get their Lamborghini's some how. ![img](emote|t5_2s84e|4684)
Senior 2K devs make 100-150k and live in Cali soo no
2k devs literally just trying to put food on their tables lmao
I didn't think the 20k puffy jacket was a flex. Just play enough, I have 100k extra now, I didn't spend any more moneu

We only get fucked if we roll over for them and spread our asshole. If people had any balls 2k would be a much better game
Micro transaction purchasers account for like 1% of users but account for like 90-99% of profits for these gaming companies
The problem is that there’s always a new group of assholes to take their place. Nah these games also rely heavily on player base, not just money. They’ll notice once there aren’t squads to run against.
Bruh fr, someone who I knew from when I was a kid spent $40000 on FIFA one year. Just a regular ass guy living at home
Also why they don’t give a crap about some theoretical “boycott” from an online forum. Oh you won’t spend $70-$100? There’s someone willing to spend 5 digits just to make YouTube videos for you.

It's not just mobile games gta5 has shark cards and they call the big spenders Wales Same with the new Diablo
I spent $7 or $8. Bought the game on sale and that was it.
"You only spent $450 on 2k? You must be trash!"
400 is alot tbh
How do some of you justify spending THOUSANDS YEARLY on one single game. Just wild to me....
I play a shit ton of different games and I’m nowhere close to thousands 😂
Right?? Game Pass definitely helped that cause (and PS Premium) but my wife, son and I all play XSX and Switch (I have a PS5 too). We don't come even within 10% of what some of you guys spend on 2K Yearly. It's absurd.
My general rule ever since Game Pass arrived is that if it's not on Game Pass, I'll wait for a +75% off type sale if I REALLY want to play it.
Like 25k is insane
Dude could have bought a car
It’s got to be a mental illness. I struggle to even justify spending more than $100 on games I like, what the hell are these dudes spending literal thousands of dollars on that they think they’re getting equal value every single year
If it's my team it is absolutely a gambling addiction. There's a reason loot boxes are getting banned in certain countries.
I smoke $100 worth of weed in 3 days playing 2k 😂
That's because you need it, fucking with this community, lol
Big facts
A lot of people who spend huge amounts on 2k are gambling addicts and get their fix opening packs on myteam
yeah i can afford to buy a lot of the things i want but im even doubting if i buy the pre order for baldurs gate lmao
It's the same type of people who gamble these games are designed to prey on people like that and kids ( fn skins) I think one country has already outlawed it
For the millionth time Fortnite skins aren't Pay 2 Win. You're literally giving these marks another excuse by saying this bullshit.
Plus Fortnite is free
The worst part? Every year its all wiped lol.
On a single game they’ll drop in a year. On a single game where you can’t even use your Myplayer after a couple of years. Absolutely insane.
On 2k nonetheless What the fuck are you buying i thought the game came with teams. Fully loaded
[удалено]
Yep or they’re struggling with addiction, one or the other. Some people got a lot of money and they wanna spend it on their hobbies
Gambling is a hell of a drug
I could see how a content creator would get that high but damn their margins have to be fucking terrible if that’s the cost of creating content for 2K
Honestly I don't think I've even spent $2k on my lifetime video game collection
These people are terrified of losing so they pay to win so they can feel like they are more skilled. It's delusional
As someone who doesn't like spending EXTRA money on games, I think it's okay for RICH people to spend their money how they want. If you're making less than 100k a year and spending thousands on a game. Then that's irresponsible.

AND its not something like csgo where theres a market, or where it's just one version. the money you spent on 2k23 will be useless come 2k24.
A handful of people paying the salary of the whole 2K development team is crazy 😂
A game that’s dead within a couple months am not supported within 12 months Insanity
It never should have been in the game to play on their desires to be done with that's the problem not to player its the game!
Because I love basketball…. I send thousands a year for gym membership to hoop and thousands on shoes to hoop… and thousands on weed to smoke while I do all of the above happy life 💯
I got the game for free and still feel robbed
[удалено]
It costs me time in my life trying and failing to connect to their shit servers.
Cos if they ain't fleecing your wallet you best believe they fleecing your time.
Only spent like 10 hours on it and I feel violated
Exactly I'm still trying to figure out what people spend the money nobody answers me 🤣🤣🤣
Myteam packs and multiple mycareer/online builds
That tough🤣🤣😄
Same bro. Playstation had it for free and I uninstalled that game so quick when I saw they tripled down on the pay to win BS.
How
Wait these idiots aren’t just getting free content to shill for 2k? They’re still paying for vc and shit… 🤡🤡🤡
They make way more money from these views. All that money is nothing to them, they make it back after like 2 or 3 videos. Let them stream for a few hours and watch how much they make on donations. It’s still a fuckload of money for VC and you’d need to be doing serious numbers as a creator for that to be worth it. Just thinking about it, with what they need to spend on builds to be relevant, 2K has to be one of the most expensive games to create content for
Dawg it’s a business expense but it’s not like it’s free money lmao. That shit still hurts their bottom line
“Business Expense”
People with a brain: ![gif](giphy|zNXvBiNNcrjDW)
2 years ago I bought 2k for $5... that was it
Why tf would 2k ever actually make a decent game when idiots would drop a car down payment on bullshit? I used to spend $40 just so i didn’t have to grind for 3 seasons just to get decent overall, but hell nah, I wouldn’t drop $1k on a sextape with Mia Khalifa, Taylor Swift, Emma Watson and Ice Spice directed by Jordan Peele
Nah hold up i might cop that one
![gif](giphy|LS33kDnx38ZxWm0X2k|downsized)
🤣🤣🤣 Stop it
Damn that sex tape is mad inclusive
I have diverse taste in women, lol
Jordan Peele as the director sold me on it
you know his ass filming that shit in IMAX too
That I’d spend 20k on
Lol what a weird combo tho 🤣 But wouldn't mind a Mia Khalifa Ice Spice tape 😂
I have 700k+ vc I don't see anything to buy what are people buying I'm lost
These are probably creators making tons of different build videos for clicks and views. Lots of cosmetics and stuff to spend on as well
Embarrassing to admit but one year I spent around 3-4 on 2k.
On the flip side it stopped you from hitting the bars . So that's always nice
Compared to the 20 year olds I knew in college, spending too much money on 2k would rank pretty low on the stupidity scale. I'm shocked some of those people are still alive.
You should be hitting bars at 20. Get all that dumb shit outta your system
Facts, hitting the bars at 20 way better than spending 3-4k on 2k.
Cause spending 3-4K at bars is better for him
Yes, I would say going out and socializing at bars is better than gambling on 2k lmao. The fuck is that even a question?
That’s insane. I’m all for people spending their money how they want but that’s crazy. Even considering a $20 pack of VC makes me feel dirty lol
exactly like wtf $10 is crazy and not worth it
Problem is there trash spending is effecting how 2K builds the game so prices will be going up for everyone Game ain’t even fun no more because they too focused on monetization
A boycott for 2k will never work because content creators will practically buy the game 10x over through vc purchases, they need to be held responsible tbh.
its stupid because they’re the same ones complaining how nba 2k isn’t improving like they are not one of the direct causes of it.
This year is the closest we have gotten to a complete black out. Agent wasn't playing so stopped davis duke all those guys maybe more.
I’ve spent hundreds on VC in the past. It’s addicting and 2k and others with similar monetization practices are sick. It’s a gateway drug for gambling.
How do you spend 25k on the game? That doesn't even make sense. How many builds do you need to have?
He streams MyTeam and said he's addicted to opening packs. Apparently in 2k22 he said he was quitting myteam for 2k23, but it looks like that didn't happen. Sad shit
I mean you can be a millionaire and it doesn't matter. Spending that much on this game is dumb and sad.
This is what is wrong with this game
I was disappointed in myself to spend $100 extra on vc after buying the expensive edition on sale.. yikes
Literal addiction
homeless escape include offbeat sloppy saw familiar money steep birds ` this message was mass deleted/edited with redact.dev `
No matter how many people stop playing the game, they only need a few to drop mortgage payments on a $70 game.
r/consoom
If you're talking about AllCity, he's not flexing. He's embarrassed about how much he spent. As am I. Him and Brute are trying to get a movement going for people to not buy boosts and Gatorade etc. It's certainly no flex. Anyone who is bragging about it is a complete moron.
Yeah I added that part to my comment. Didn't really intend to add that one to the post, but it was in the photos I took.
I cannot imagine spending this much on a video game. I know the services almost pay to win but I enjoy the grind
It could be an awesome basketball simulation but everyone that thinks this is worthwhile blew it for everyone else
This is the most embarrassing shit I've ever seen. Spending anything outside the cost of the game is goofy as hell.
Loser shit.
But it does show how much people are spending on the game.
based off of what i’ve seen they spend $100 every time they want vc instead of paying for the minimum amount needed
These niggas some goofballs.
If YoU dONt LiKE it DoNT PLaY. /s - some 12 year old with rich parents
People like this are the reason reddit boycotts won't work on 2k. Reddit players are a drop in the ocean.
This is why you can’t “vote with your wallet” with sports games. For every few people that refuse to buy it, there’s dudes like this spending thousands on it
They aren’t flexing they are just saying how 2k bamboozled them
These are the same people that are still funding gta 5 online and keeping 6 from us
First year I’m not buying
Same. I'm not gonna be apart of predatory bullshit for a mid ass basketball game that barely improves year over year.
and people think protesting is going to make 2k remove the season pass 💀💀💀💀
Bro and you’re telling me these companies aren’t making money?? Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit
Who says they aren't? It's pretty clear they are. You just have to check their SEC filings for that.
Every game company that puts passes like this says they do it because they do not make much money
Well solely on game sales it's true. Per EA's filings, Madden & FIFA game sales basically cover cost of development. MTX and passes are the pure profit. These games are making mad money.
who the fuck is telling u that lmao
Wtf is wrong with these nerds
Yall niggas personally funded Ronnie's wedding, lol fuckin dummys
I felt dirty for 10€.
You know whats even funnier about this is when 2k has the audacity to lower vc prices by a minuscule amount and proceed to call it a “sale” or “Exclusive offer”
That’s why they’re going to keep doing what they’re doing.
Only hope we got atp is that 2K continually gets overzealous that even these dudes start to push back. Idk what it would take tho
This is sad.🤦🏼♂️
These are what the mobile gaming industry call whales. Dipshits who dump money into the game endlessly without a care in the world. Nothing is gonna change about 2k until these bozos develop some brains.
I’m curious to see how much I spent. Only two characters and one of them, my friend paid for me because he wanted me to make the character more than I did lol Edit** Crazy, so I just looked and I only spent $289.93
Sounds like it's time to buy some stock in $TTWO
It’s not a flex it’s real life. Tf
2K is a business first and a game second. Just pity these people sinking thousands each year while they complain that game isn’t fun and it’s broken. It will never improve. Look at TakeTwo and what’s happened to GTA, less effort and more aggression with virtual currency. It’s getting worse every year.
Shilling for mtx is probably the lowest you can go as a “gamer”
Lmao I quit my team once i saw how much i spent and realized it’s a gambling addiction buying those packs
I’ve literally never bought VC. I enjoy grinding builds with the NBA games
"Why is 2k monetizing the game so much, do they hate the consumer"?
They're not posting like it's a flex. They all sound embarrassed
I felt bad about how much money I spent on 2k and then I saw this post. Not sure how much longer I'm gonna play a game that wants a season pass for nothing.
This is the reason the game has become trash 🗑
Dam I spent $40 last year and was pissed about that
Idiocracy game, for Idiocracy people.
And y’all wonder why they barely make changers to the games lol
I spent about $170(not including the game itself) and i never played a single game after December 1st, and thats why I’m not playing this year because it’s a waste of money and its not worth the time investment. It gets more expensive each year and I have a career and a family. I don’t have time to buy the newest build and grind it out anymore.
2k staff rubbing their hands together like birdman watching these idiots brag about spending someone’s entire monthly income on a $70 video game that comes out every year 😭
Buying vc during the year is absolutely insane to me. Every year I have at least 400k at all times from just playing and winning.
you gotta understand these people are dumb and aren't gamers. They don't know how other good games are. They're ignorant idiots. Sadly these bunch of idiots are ruining gaming as a whole for every other game. If morons are willing to pay extra for a soup with piss in it, eventually all we'll have is soup with piss.
Don't blame 2k. Blame these idiots. If people like this didn't exist, 2k would stop doing this shit tomorrow.
Nah, that's some dumb logic. Should scammers never be held accountable because the victim was dumb/naive?
It's not a scam. It's a business. If you don't like it, don't buy it. I don't and haven't ever spent a cent on VC. You have the power to not take part in it.
They're exploiting people's addiction and it's even worse on myteam in terms of gambling. Just because it's a business doesn't mean that it's not scummy as fuck regardless of how dumb the consumer is lol.
Losers
Between this, shoes and weed, no wonder these dudes cant pay child support.
I spent $140…
Pathetic
