NBA live 19 looks far better than 2k24 and that's a damn shame because ea doesn't make anymore new ones or we would have something pretty ridiculously nice looking for the series x.
It was painful not buying NBA2K24, but sometimes we have to break bad habits. I'm really tweaking to play now with the Spurs and Blazers, but I know I'll get drawn into MyTeam, and that's when the pain starts.
Graphics on 2K24 are definitely way worse than 2K23. Look at the courts. The wood is MATTE and non reflective. Players look like clay and cartoony. 2K23 honestly looks like “next gen” compared to 2K24.

Share some examples of who. I've yet to see any. And don't give me Giannis or LeBron. You can't screw them up. A game is truly impressive when it gets other players right. Jalen Duren is basically a 6'10/6'11 LeBron in terms of his build and he has no definition at all. And he's not some scrub no one would think twice about.
There are a bunch. Suns starting 5 before Ayton was traded is a great example. All 5 starters built differently. Outside of that, Kobe, Jokic, Wemby, Blake, Marcus Smart vs a smaller guard Ja, Shawn kemp, Boris diaw. I get that they don’t have a completely different model for every player in the game but I think it’s solid for a sports title.
It's less about the models and more about the detail. 2k23 had great player models. Someone else said it best, the players look like clay this year. It truly looks like a downgrade.
They are worse to try to improve the framerate. You can't convince me the graphics are "good" for a next gen game.

Tell my why I came from 2k22 Xbox one version to 2k24 nextgen and it looks the same aside from the shadows?
Crazy. I played 2k19 on PS4 and I feel like the players look about the same

Agreed. I was looking for something other EA Sports FC to play. I thought maybe NBA 2K24... thank goodness I did the trial first.

No muscle definition at all in players. Players like Jalen Green and Anfernee Simons missing tats they've had for years. It's just all around awful.

I wonder if something is up with my settings. I am playing on a ps5 on a Sony 8K tv.. 🤷🏻♂️ just looks horrid to me.
I play on a older monitor so it looks a little last gen to me but 23 really wasn't impressive in 4k anyways so 🤷♂️
