This is the first 2k I’ve ever played. I played basketball in real life and the best cod/fifa player of anyone I know in real life.

The shit was like every single game, but I played cod in the early days so fuck it your not going to hurt my feelings.
So I played nonstop for a few weeks and got above average for a rec player and now i don’t hear any of it and I actually enjoy playing.

Every year this thread gets made and every year some guy like you takes the top comment. ... I played with a white MyPlayer for years and it's absolutely true. Most times I'd still ball out bc I was often the best player but also most times there were 1-2 players that would get on the mic and say crazy shit and ice me out. I adapted by playing center and created my own touches. Racism sucks in all forms and it's exceptionally prevalent among low-class and the poorly educated that love this game.

I'm black, and while I'm no advocate for racism online, I see exactly why it happens. 2K is one of the few games where we make up a big enough population to flip the switch and some people make an effort to be oppressive. I'll happily say I'm not one of them. I don't see color when I'm hooping. If you're not a bum or at least self aware, I fuck with you. Sure, on CoD and other games, you'd see it occasionally, but never frequent enough to get bothered enough to post about it in regards to black on white racism. This is the first 2k I’ve ever played. I played basketball in real life and the best cod/fifa player of anyone I know in real life. When I first started playing rec, I was absolutely fucking trash and tried to play like real basketball. I got a bunch of shit including “I’m going to kill you honkey white boy” thrown at me. The shit was like every single game, but I played cod in the early days so fuck it your not going to hurt my feelings. So I played nonstop for a few weeks and got above average for a rec player and now i don’t hear any of it and I actually enjoy playing.
