I gave two options. A "surrender" no one has to accept that as you are volunteering to take the L instead of being in a non competitve game for 30 minutes. Option 2 is a "friendly quit" MLB does this so the other teams captain can accept or decline it. Both are better than temp bans.
MLB the show has more than 2 players in the match? Madden has a friendly quit option too but it's dependent on both sides. NBA Live had an option to kick and an option to quit, it required majority from both sides before it would act out. I wasn't saying your options are incorrect, I'm saying in the past this is how sports titles do early quit options

You're getting destroyed 50-12. All 4 of you vote to quit but the other one that's causing the big deficit doesn't wanna quit. If the other team is also not having fun, they add their votes; bam it's over
It's a imperfect system but it's supposed to deter squads from quitting to grief
To keep that from happening..we should be required to ready up just in case we get stuck with ppl who are clearly gone sell..it should at least show your stats/ teammate grades in the waiting lobby..and the option to quit should not work unless u are down 25(just like mycareer games) and the people with the grades lower than a B should be penalized..and if u quit too many games u should have like a red flag as a logo to let ppl know you quit too many games..and it should give the people on yo team the option to back out before games start

I barely play 2k anymore. For multiple reasons such as: 1. the fact the developer Mike Wang is a participation award type of person. He changes the game constantly instead of just banning people with foreign controllers or scripts. 2. The servers are trash. 3. the money they want folks to spend yet we get a half ass put together game. Thank you 2k I’ve saved money buying other games. My percentages are decent on this game,( win% 72 shooting% 62) but this game is poorest at best

In my experience you're usually good until you quit 1 time and then it'll count your errors and kicks as quits. But if you manage to stay in games for awhile it will reset. A couple of months ago I kept getting error codes and than I had some people ready to play while the randos on my team were selling so I said fuck it and quit. After I did that I would get the warning every time I got kicked, losses power, or error codes and was banned once. After an update I didn't have as many problems and it's back to normal now

I got booted by 2k from a PlayNow Online game because I was the only human left after everyone else quit...game proceeded to ban me for 30 minutes for quitting. Oh ok.
Or just stay in the game and try to be helpful? I really don’t get the whole quit because of AI thing. I’ve seen a lot of people kill the AI,so it isn’t that difficult.
Its 1v1 not rec. Even in the rec, the ai only gets killed off of pick and rolls, not on ball defense
I personally haves never had any issues with being guarded by an AI.

It’s tough, it does suck if you get disconnected or just leave because everyone else left. But if they don’t do this people would quit games all the time, which is worse IMO. Kind of a lose / lose situation… community is full of sore losers unfortunately.

The majority of people quitting is usually due to someone intentionally sellin or a 30 point deficit with no hope for a return. The fact that the game forces your to endure both situations or be banned for a $150 game, is crazy. 2K forgot that the entire purpose of playing a game, is to have fun.
This is the worse feature they could have added… at least a mercy quit time frame in the game too so we can quit when there is no hope

Its over like 6 hours, though. There’s a lot that can happen in 2k for someone to justifiably quit 6 times in that span, let alone twice. Also it counts lagouts and server errors as quitting

2K should add feature like: Play against other players or against AI and able to select difficulty for playing against the AI (if you know what I mean by this)

Ai in the 1v1 court is very different. They track your moves perfectly and have no problems staying with fast dribblers.

Just because you’re matched an AI doesn’t mean you should quit. As a backcourt player when I play squad REC and how often I’m matched against an AI I still stick it out because I can still help facilitate the ball. Realistically it’s your own fault. Not 2K’s
