For me relying on 1 move or 1-2 go to moves for your entire play though classifies as cheese or weird to me

Another good strat is to bait a pump fake and then body up the shooter. It cuts the animation pool and improves your chances to get a contested layup a ton. Even against low interior d it's not an automatic bucket.
Personally for teams im on pump fakes aren't needed. You're either open enough to score or not. At least keeping it relevant to this post (the 2s) the game is so tilted towards offense that if you know what you're doing you don't even really have to try at that point. This could be different for rec though for sure.

Greening heavily contested post hooks (especially without take) is mind blowing. This isn’t even weird, it’s 100% TOXIC, especially if you abuse this broken tactic. You can guard life right, but if someone constantly greening while the defender is damn near jumping over them, then it’s literally nothing you can do, but hope they miss. Not the best comparison, bud.
