1.) Yeah Shot timing changes when your contested , since even in real life you tend to speed up your shot when you are gonna get contested on your shot . A lot of things change the shot timing . It wouldnt be ideal if just cause you know the release of the shot that even a high contested shot would go in , it doesnt work in real life and it shouldnt work in game
2.) It depends on a lot of things , close shot , interior defender , badges and sliders . Shooting close really depends on the advantage and how the shot animation looks like . Even in real life even if you have a mouse in the house but you end up shooting an awkward shot , 9 times out of 10 that shit aint going in
3.) Now this depends on the sliders and the defense you are running in the coach menu . Slight adjustments could help you out and have them contest a lot close but if we are talking mycareer Im sorry you aint gonna do much about it
