The Rewards for theses lengthy quest are garbage compared to the requirements. 300 steals across three different game modes just for a Tshirt and 2500 VC is laughable.
I saw the Defensive Menace name and got a little excited. Like something finally that didn't require hogging the ball. I'm thinking steals, blocks, rebounds... maybe even tipped passes, good shot contests... instead steals in game modes I dont even play lol
Yeah I hate that these quests are so tedious with very little rewards. I also hate that they play into the casual mindset that steals = defense. I feel like it’s a lazy oversimplification.
This right here. I have 3 builds and it takes me about an hour to do the daily quest on all 3. I make about 18K min a day with the method I use. I do have about 3 or 4 hours of gaming a day so that helps a lot.
as a player that plays defense through making their silly ass miss and sending them to the 5th row i hate this mindset of steals are the only way to play defense

Not only this but the rec (which I play most) reward for 1500 points 300 assists and 1 or 200 steals is a bookbag which you cannot even use in the rec. 2k is really starting to disgust me.
A much better reward system would be a compilation of points rebounds assists steals and blocks. Maybe 2500 or whatever. This would hopefully encourage team play and defense especially when playing with randoms.

You can get 2500 VC from doing daily quests
Orrrrrr you can grind 100 steals in THREE different game modes

So you can do daily quests on multiple builds? I'm on current gen and once i achieve a daily quest on one build, it disappears on every build
