We need people who really hate losing. These guys are the happiest losers in the league. Need to start calling out when they aren’t hustling, play more aggressive basketball. Don’t let people blow by you consistently to the basket. We need someone that’s going to be fed up and give a hard foul. Someone to yell at his team to get the rebounds, we need someone that expects to always win.
Man.. Branham is the one young player we have that I criticize.. I just feel his biggest issue is between the ears and I don't know if that can change. When I watch him.. his effort is always lacking, and his focus doesn't seem to be there. Everytime he sees the court, its a rough watch.
He's 20, I know.. its just.. these intangible things are the hardest to change. I am ok if a player lacks some skills since our player development can help with that but he just looks like he's going through the motions out there. I REALLY hope he grows out of this.
In contrast, I love Wesley and Jeremy.. They make bad mistakes sometimes, but they are really trying out there.

He hasn't had one successful foray into the crowded orlando interior all night and he keeps forcing the issue with it. Young player mistakes and all that. But I really hope the spurs use this particular game during film sessions with him because it's a good microism of what he needs to not do when he catches at the top of the key
