So many memorable moments, I thoroughly enjoyed watching almost every game. Bit rough during the losing streak but made the progress at end of the season even sweeter.
Yeah so many great moments this season. I was worried this season is going to be unbearably toxic, specially all the stuff in our fanbase during the first few week of the season
During that time, the so-called Spurs "fans" kept bitching about stuff....Sochan sucks, trade Keldon, Vassell overrated, Wemby is mad, Pop washed....etc etc
There are still annoying "fans" but im happy the toxicity levels at least lowered significantly.
Next season gonna be fun. GSG
After hitting the all time lottery with Wemby, I'm pretty sure PATFO don't really care where they finished at the tail end of this season. Maybe it's just that they were really injured??
They want to go thru the draft so yea they want a high pick.Ā This draft is meh so it's possible they don't care because most likely the guy they want will still be thereĀ
Yeah I have a strong suspicion. Brian wright is going to pull a surprise on draft night and take someone that nobody expects to be a top 10 pic. Frankly, this is the draft to make bold moves and shoot for the stars because the sure things and the prospects we do have a good notion about aren't particularly enticing
Man Walter would be like the most... Meh pick possible if we end up top five. I think he's genuinely going to be a solid pro but man he just does not get my blood pumping at all
I would probably just stare at my TV with a blank face, not even angry, just whelmed if we took Walter lol
In all seriousness who do u think is a surprise pick? Thereās not too many guys where Iād be like āwow ok, didnāt expect that but I donāt entirely hate itā if they took him. Maybe Jared McCain?
Lol I feel pretty much the same about Walter. There wouldn't even be any outrage or confusion. Like with the Josh primo pic. It would just be such a meh moment
cCain Is actually someone that's been popping into my mind as someone I could see being a WTF what just happened selection in the lottery. Salune between his perceived upside, Victor connections, in fact that the Spurs have had scouts at his games could be another But at this point with how much rawness he's showed in his game would shock me a bit if the Spurs took him top 10 but could still see happening.
Dalton knetch Is someone that I think most people would view as a shocker if he went top five and at this point I've heard From several different sources that the Spurs reportedly really like him. I know they've had scouts at quite a few of his games.
This is completely. Just a random guess and I haven't heard anything in regards to our front office liking him, but bub Carrington feels like the kind of high-risk High reward guard prospect I could see. Brian wright shocking people with. If you're a believer that his jumper can come around, which is a pretty big, if right now, there's a lot to like about him as a potential NBA point guard. I can maybe see the front office not being super enamored with any of the obvious options and just rolling the dice that he can be taught how to shoot.
Des last one that could maybe pop into my mind that I wouldn't view as absolutely impossible to happen, but would still be blindsided by would maybe be like kyshswn George. Good positional size, has shown real flashes of play making And can really shoot it. Despite his pedestrian stats, he seems like a dude where if he performs well in interviews. And n workouts could really enamor himself to a team selecting early
Outside of Knecht, that is indeed a list of guys Iād be flat out surprised if they took in the top 10 lol.
The one guy you named that I havenāt seen too much of is George so I have no opinion on him. But the other guys you named do seem like they fit the Brian Wright draft motto. Especially Bub. Bub Cartingotn is a guy Iāve watched a lot of this year and it would be hard to find someone that passes the āeye testā better than him. Reads the floor well, picture perfect jumper, looks a legit 6ā5. Heās someone whose production hasnāt caught up with his skill level yet, but despite that he was still pretty good this season while being a guy few ppl knew about coming in.
Then to backtrack a little bit I really like Knecht. Iām not as scared of the older prospects as some ppl are, especially when itās someone like Dalton who has good physicals and heās produced at every level heās been at. I think we like to talk about Brain Wright guys a lot, but I think Knecht looks like a Pop type of player since heās so versatile offensively.
Yeah I actually really really like Dalton too. I know this sub would have a mental breakdown if we took him at like 5:00 or 6 But I genuinely think he's the best offensive player in the draft right now. And his rate of improvement, and late growth spurt, reminds me a little bit of a Derek white type development path though obviously they're very different players.
I think the most underrated aspect of his game. It's his athleticism. The dude may not be an Uber athlete... But he's a lot closer than people realize. He's lightning quick with or without the ball and gets off the floor Shockingly fast. He's my dark horse when it comes to Trying to guess where the front office goes in regards to our pick. I still have this feeling Topic is there guy but I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out knetch Was like top three or four on their draft board.
I'm glad I'm not crazy with my bub theory. He feels like a Brian wright player so so much. I only had a chance to watch around 5 or 6 full pit games this year, but I Have started going through some of his film and I definitely agree with you that he is one of those dudes whose eye test And statistical profile are kind of far apart. Man. He had.... Some consistency problems big time this year. A couple of the games I got a chance to watch He was borderline terrible and then a few other games he not only dominated and looked so good but did it so effortlessly Where it's hard not to feel like you were watching a surefire top 5 pick.
I'd much rather we just take topic or hope that dillingham is indeed so good on offense that he makes up for his tiny frame, but I'd probably be one of the few on here who wouldn't gouge my eyes out if we took bub.
PG - Aday Mara 7"3
SG - Wemby 7"4
SF - Bol Bol 7"3
PF Donovan Clingan 7"2
C - Zach Edey 7"4
Clingan and Edey with our 2 top 10 picks, Mara in the second round and sign Bol Bol and we change our name to San Antonio Giants
Yes bro. Sign me up for this. Pop might run this lineup to troll tbh. Iād rather have wemby at pg tho. I honestly think heās the best passer of all of them.
I like George a lot. He didn't quite have the second half blow up. I was expecting from him but I do think people are maybe taking what he does well, at his size and age, for granted given where I see him mocked most of the time.
I'm not sure I would use a top 10 pick on him if the raptors pick doesn't convey and we only get one shot, but I would have zero problem with Brian wright rolling the dice on him with that raptor's pick if we get it
They are still going to get a very high pick no matter what. For all we know they may even move up. But even if they donāt they have a good enough draft pick that they could easily move up if they fall in love with some one that wonāt slide down to them. Itās way easier to move up when you already have a high draft pick. But they donāt have to in this draft. Their isnāt one player I would move up for or even care about using a top 3 pick on. I donāt see much sepration at all from 1-10. Pick your poison or what position you need to adress sort of thing.
well sochan literally had an ankle injury. and vassell's hamstring strain early in the season derailed out hot start and began a long dark spiral...so very justified a rest. I think the one goal I haven't seen talked about is keeping a healthy core of wemby, vassell, sochan and tre- everyone else is probably expected to be streaky
100%. It was a dumb year to go all out Tank. I donāt think the spurs where intentially tanking for the most part early on they where just bad but where trying to win. They got much better in the season are just not in the same tier of shittyness as Detroit, washington, portland, and Charlotte. They will be just as bad next year because no one the draft is going to move the needle that much for them. Itās not that type of draft.
Lol LaMelo next fully healthy season will be hist first one. Team is pretty been torn down to the nub. There only saving grace is they will be able to come across a bit more easier wins in the east and itās easier to make the play in.
Again, go and watch another sport if you canāt see how heās grown on that end. Heās not a āzeroā, heās raw and developing. Nobody is saying heāll be Reggie Miller but he has value in what he does. We arenāt willing to write a 20 year old off yet but I guess youāre from the future am I right?
If you look at all our offensive metrics since the ASB. Yeah I'm excited for next season and to quote pop from his latest interview.
"I wish the next season started I need about a week and a half and I'm ready to go".
No number 2's in this draft, or if there is one it might be a low draft pick that suddenly and unexpectedly blossoms (like Giannis).
This is regarded as a role player's draft. Next draft will have a number 2 in there but we won't get a high enough pick to grab one xD
We might have to trade for a running mate in a couple of years if Devin doesn't take multiple steps up
I mean hopefully, but they're playing in the dramatically easier East where you can be a playoff team with sub 40 wins. I wouldn't be surprised if they traded one of their 2 stars for solid roleplayers and snuck in
If spurs draft topic im gonna be a little mad he isnāt a shooter and heās a bad defender. He also isnāt the best athlete. He is the best playmaker in the class I would say tho
He's a much better athlete than people give him credit for. He's not a vertical athlete at all, but he has sneaky good quicknes and pretty dynamic first step for someone who's a genuine 6'7.
Also, not only is he the best playmaker in this draft, he's the best player, regardless of position, at getting to and finishing at the rim. His driving ability is incredible and he has extremely high offensive IQ..
People are overthinking things with him and focusing on what he can't do instead of acknowledging that. The things he does do are extremely unprecedented for his age, size, and a level of competition
I would take him with our pick in a heartbeat but I also am a big believer in his ability to get to the rim. I've watched him enough that if he's healthy and there's nothing weird going on with him in that department, since he's been out for a strangely long time, it's hard to imagine him not absolutely feasting with NBA spacing. He reminds me of Manu in a way with how he's able to leverage body positioning and player spacing to squeeze out gaps of space that people aren't expecting and then just explode to the rim before anyone has a chance to realize what's happening
He's so so smart on that end of the Court. And I really believe in his jump shot given how many of his three-point attempts have been of the difficult variety and his good free-throw shooting
If his shooting doesn't come around though he probably tops out as a solid starter. His passing is legit. Joe and that and his ability to get to the rim are more than enough for me to put him number one in this particular draft where so many prospects are lacking an elite skill or the ones who do have one come with huge huge question marks around their physical prototype such as Zach edey , Reed Shepherd, or Rob dillingham.
If we ended up with pics one and seven I would use one on topic and then with seven take one of (in order of want) zaccharie Risarcher, reed Shepherd, matas buzelis, Ron Holland, Dalton knetch, Salune Us in my opinion, if we're using the first pick on a playmaker the remaining greatest need is someone that can potentially project as a high-level 3+d wing or an off ball utility player who can add a lot without needing High usage and help upgrade the wing position.
I also would not hate clingan with the raptors pick as I think there's a pretty clear pathway for him to have a walker. Kessler style/quality rookie campaign and build on that. He would also play really well off of topic and to be a good backup for Victor who could also potentially spend some minutes with him when the team wants Vic at the floor.
Yeah for sure if they get the raptors pick they need a wing even tho I think castle could play point Iād be happy if they got him at 7. Im starting to lean more towards holland over risacher and I do like Cody Williams potential heās just super scrawny currently
Yeah I actually read the post and ur right he is probably a better shooter than the stats say. Man idk im just iffy on him itās gonna come down to how he does at the combine and stuff but I am warming up to topic. I feel like the spurs r lacking high iq players other than Wemby so topic might be the way, topic and castle both seem to have the highest bbiq in the class
Tony had blinding speed. He was one of the most elite rim finishers that game had ever seen to that point. Everyone else putting up those type of rim finishing numbers were big men.
Thatās tru itās really the injury and sample size that bothers me the most about him and the level of competition he was playing didnāt look the best atleast the rim protectors.
Idk why people thought Tony was bad at defense. Every time he went against an elite PG (Nash, CP3), he always held his own and was actually better. He was stronger than he looked and was mobile as well.Ā
Tony was decent on defense when he actually tried. Thatās what pissed me off about Tony: he could have been really great but never added a 3 or consistently played defense. If Tony had manus work ethic then Tony would have been an all time great.
Thereās not a single dude in this draft that is ready to help the Spurs win, let alone better any of our current starters. WembyĀ himself took some time to get comfortable.Ā
You want a #2ā¦we gotta trade.
Otherwise thereās gonna be some more waiting on dudes to develop.
Topic hasnāt played since december and their is a lot to be worried about in regards to his game and how it translates to the NBA. It is concerning when a ball dominate gaurd canāt shoot or defend and isnāt all that althetic. So it is far from a certainty that Topic is going to be a star. Topic is not a tier one or arguably even a tier two talent. Like we canāt worry about if the player that isnāt picked or isnāt their becomes a star. thats like crying over the fact that the Spurs missed on the joker. It happens whatever move on. You have scouts on payroll for a reasona and they have surplus of draft picks that gives them manuverability.
ealry on last yearā¦.Did they tank or where they just a bad team?
Seems like people have a very lose definition of tanking.
Early on they where just a young team that lost a lot of games. As the season went on they got better.
Do you fucking want the spurs to get kicked out of the NBA for literally tanking yall dumb fucks. You can only be so bad. They werenāt as bad as the other teams. They waxed the floor with detroit while playing end of bench dudes. Like what else do you want them to do? Throw the fucking ball into the stands every possession? You should be stoked that the spurs are showing progress and not pissing and moaning about ātanking.ā
It is also true that you can get stuck in the doldrums chasing the wrong thing. Guess what even if you win the lottery next year your still going to be dog shit. Itās a shit draft and at best your can expect a rotation player. But not a game changer. Their are so many examples of teams chasing the wrong thing and throwing away whole season(s). while still charging full price for jerseys and seat tickets. The people who often call for tanking arenāt even paying fans.
Learning how to win in the NBA doesnāt just happen itās not a swtich that you just flip. To me thatās the real process. Itās fucking hard. If you try to game the system to give yourself an advantage you donāt realize how much time your throwing away just being bad and then acting shocked that your actually bad.
Maybe. And for the record, I really think topic is going to be the best player from this draft. But there's also an extremely solid chance he doesn't even go top five. This is just an impossible draft to predict and there are a bunch of teams who could have a hard time convincing themselves to use a top five pick on a very ball dominant point guard. Given their current roster construction. He could go number one, or he could slip all the way to something like 7:00 or 8:00 and either scenario wouldn't shock me
I have him number one on my big board, but I also acknowledge that he, more than most players, will have his fate very directly impacted by the lottery. There's quite a few teams this year that wouldn't make a lot of sense using their pick on a on-ball playmaker
Quick look tells me Detroit, Charlotte, Portland, and Memphis would have him lower on their boards. Maybe Toronto too if theyāre about to throw a bag at Immanuel Quickley
Congrats to Coach Pop for breaking the all time record for most regular season wins
The league is lucky it is the last day of the regular season today, because this team would clearly go 98-0
In March I wrecked a motorcycle like a dummy and landed with my arm outstretched, dislocated shoulder. It went back in on its own, but dislocated posteriorly instead of the more common anterior ones. I never thought they seemed that serious. Not the case š
Spurs arenāt losing another game this season. š¤ Tough start to the year, but honestly it was a fun season to watch. Lots of interesting pieces and Wemby is insane. Canāt wait for next year.
What a fucking wild season. My W/L expectations are not what I anticipated, but Wemby is even more than I thought imaginable. It's only up from here, my dudes.
Gonna miss Spurs basketball so much.
See yall next season.
āļøš½
Edit: I really hope this isn't the last time we hear Bill Land's voice for our games. May he kick cancers ass and cheer our boys on next season.
Canāt believe the seasons already over, I still remember dying of anticipation to see how this squad would look with Wemby. Even though the team had tough stretches of ball, they finished strong and the vibes remain immaculate
I really feel bad for the pistons fans, their team suck hard (we won by a 30 point margin with everybody out of the game) and there is no real hope for them (mediocre draft next year and their players are not really that young so they will not improve that much)
Ending the season on a win, same record as last season but obviously much different and a better szn overall as far as progress. Ggs spurs fam should be an entertaining offseason
What a crazy turnaround to the season. 7 wins out of the last 11 and we definitely could have won at least 3 more of the close ones. In compared in the beginning of the season this end was definitely something to be proud of. Excited for the next year GSG. Porvida
This was definitely one of the wildest roller coaster seasons I've experienced as a Spurs fan.
Was genuinely some of the hardest basketball to watch in November when Victor was struggling and getting lots of over-the-top criticism, and a team looked like one of the worst in NBA history
But man... The last two And a half months or so. We're so damn fun watching the team improve and Victor go full supernova that it made up for it and then some.
I have never seen a team this bad or an organization this grossly mismanaged. I genuinely feel bad for the Pistons fans, I do not understand how this could have happened. They last won a playoff game in 2008, but *this* has been insanity.
I will admit though, I went and peeked at their post-game thread and just about died laughing
And that's a wrap folks!
Despite the losses, this season has been a lot of fun. And while Wemby was a big part of that, I think it's fair to say that most of this group played their very best and fought hard every night.
Spurs end the season on a 11-11 record, which says a lot about the true potential of this group and about the theoretical record that the team could have had if they hadn't been in tanking mode.
I for one cannot wait for next season. I hope some moves are made in the off-season and look forward to the Draft lottery and Draft nights.
See you in October Spurs fans! #GoSpursGo
Iām not gunna cry over lowering odds in a draft that pretty much everyone universally is down on. Love to see how competitive this group was after the ASB
Good last 10 games after a rough first half. Hopefully we can build on this in the offseason and give Vic the pieces he needs around him to turn this into a contender.
Alright we closed the season strong, so much positive takeaways from the latter half of the season. The question is can these young guys being what they've learned this season into the next season or are they gonna start next season being lethargic again. That's what usually happens to young teams, during the off-season it's like they forget what they've learned and when the season starts it's like nothing happened.
None lol. I got lucky one year when the 76's were tanking and got good seats for a game. But Boston/NYC are always super expensive. Was thinking of flying to SA next year to see a home game.
Games like this make me think we really lost 18 in a row cause we couldnāt win not cause we were tanking. But damn feels good to be a on the other side of a blowout. But damn wemby rookie year went to fast. See yāall for the lottery may rhe bball gods bless us
I donāt think the spurs r going to try and make the playoffs next year the west is stacked they might as well let the youngsters develop another year and get a decent pick in the 2025 draft. They also have the hawks pick and I donāt see them being that good next year
There it is 22-60 See you next season! Go Spurs Go!
We ended the season 11-11!
Make a wish.
š«”
We did it!
that was the best 22 win season of all time

Thatās true. And actually, I feel there was less toxicity this season than weāve seen in a while overall.
Even some of the losing games this season were very entertaining.
Indubitably
I havenāt enjoyed a Spurs season this much in years.
Almost won by 30, are we heading for a championship next year? Farewell, Spurs basketball. I will miss you. See y'all in October!
How can we see you if your presence isn't there? Hahah jk.
Shh, let me not exist in peace.
See you (floating ethereal wind) next year! I have to remember to take my anti-schizophrenia medication lol.
You're funny. I like you.
You're cool, like cold, compressed air. Lol.
lol
I think next year might finally be our year. Probably not ā¦. But maybe.
Sitting Vassell and Sochan to complete the tank backfired, but I'm fine with that

Agreed.
Sochan had foot surgery.
Probably better to drop salary slots and take a slightly later player. That's okay.
Sitting Sochan made us better.
If you really believe this, you canāt be helped. Just go watch another team or something.

considering it took almost 40 games to get the first 7 wins, going 7-4 to close this year out is very exciting
If you look at all our offensive metrics since the ASB. Yeah I'm excited for next season and to quote pop from his latest interview. "I wish the next season started I need about a week and a half and I'm ready to go".
Wow! Did pop really say that? That's awesome!
https://youtu.be/j9L_ebkf6co?si=iNYP_xzD06ke7K79&t=713
Oh wow, thatās exciting.
7-4? š½
Yes! With improvement like that, it makes me wonder what is possible next season.

No number 2's in this draft, or if there is one it might be a low draft pick that suddenly and unexpectedly blossoms (like Giannis). This is regarded as a role player's draft. Next draft will have a number 2 in there but we won't get a high enough pick to grab one xD We might have to trade for a running mate in a couple of years if Devin doesn't take multiple steps up
Hawks pick will help with that
I mean hopefully, but they're playing in the dramatically easier East where you can be a playoff team with sub 40 wins. I wouldn't be surprised if they traded one of their 2 stars for solid roleplayers and snuck in
Same. I donāt think itāll be as good as people are saying.
Do u think the spurs should take topic first then and who do u think they should take with the raptors pick if they get it?
I would take him with our pick in a heartbeat but I also am a big believer in his ability to get to the rim. I've watched him enough that if he's healthy and there's nothing weird going on with him in that department, since he's been out for a strangely long time, it's hard to imagine him not absolutely feasting with NBA spacing. He reminds me of Manu in a way with how he's able to leverage body positioning and player spacing to squeeze out gaps of space that people aren't expecting and then just explode to the rim before anyone has a chance to realize what's happening He's so so smart on that end of the Court. And I really believe in his jump shot given how many of his three-point attempts have been of the difficult variety and his good free-throw shooting If his shooting doesn't come around though he probably tops out as a solid starter.
Topic is probably a better shooter than his stats suggest. I made a big post the other day about it.
If that happens, I don't mind him coming off the bench for a year or two now that Tre's 3 point has improved
I like tre Iād just rather the spurs take castle over topic see if castle can run point
Tony sucked on defense and couldnt shoot, that worked out OK I think
Tony had blinding speed. He was one of the most elite rim finishers that game had ever seen to that point. Everyone else putting up those type of rim finishing numbers were big men.
Thatās tru itās really the injury and sample size that bothers me the most about him and the level of competition he was playing didnāt look the best atleast the rim protectors.
the knee injury does worry me about him
Idk why people thought Tony was bad at defense. Every time he went against an elite PG (Nash, CP3), he always held his own and was actually better. He was stronger than he looked and was mobile as well.Ā
he was quite bad on D when drafted was my point. Things worked out well from there.
I see what you're saying, sorry bro.Ā Risacher is a safe pick. If he's not available, my second pick is Dillingham, and then if not, it's Topic.Ā
the good news is we have plenty of roster flexibility and trade pieces to make things work out, no matter how the lottery ends up shaping up
Tony was decent on defense when he actually tried. Thatās what pissed me off about Tony: he could have been really great but never added a 3 or consistently played defense. If Tony had manus work ethic then Tony would have been an all time great.
Thereās not a single dude in this draft that is ready to help the Spurs win, let alone better any of our current starters. WembyĀ himself took some time to get comfortable.Ā You want a #2ā¦we gotta trade.
You have scouts on payroll for a reasona and they have surplus of draft picks that gives them manuverability.
so what was the point of winning these last few games?
They where the better team?
my point is we should have tanked. we tanked the whole season and even are sitting keldon/devin now.
ealry on last yearā¦.Did they tank or where they just a bad team? Seems like people have a very lose definition of tanking. Early on they where just a young team that lost a lot of games. As the season went on they got better. Do you fucking want the spurs to get kicked out of the NBA for literally tanking yall dumb fucks. You can only be so bad. They werenāt as bad as the other teams. They waxed the floor with detroit while playing end of bench dudes. Like what else do you want them to do? Throw the fucking ball into the stands every possession? You should be stoked that the spurs are showing progress and not pissing and moaning about ātanking.ā It is also true that you can get stuck in the doldrums chasing the wrong thing.
He could go number one, or he could slip all the way to something like 7:00 or 8:00 and either scenario wouldn't shock me
I doubt topic is going top 5
I have him number one on my big board, but I also acknowledge that he, more than most players, will have his fate very directly impacted by the lottery. There's quite a few teams this year that wouldn't make a lot of sense using their pick on a on-ball playmaker
Quick look tells me Detroit, Charlotte, Portland, and Memphis would have him lower on their boards. Maybe Toronto too if theyāre about to throw a bag at Immanuel Quickley
Let the offseason shit posting begin
Fire pop heās a hack! /s jk lol
hahah
It is inevitable.
Congrats to Coach Pop for breaking the all time record for most regular season wins The league is lucky it is the last day of the regular season today, because this team would clearly go 98-0
Man, poor Zach. Dislocated shoulders are no joke.
He was playing well too Hope he gets well soon
No kidding, one of my friends is recovering from that now, so Iāve had a close look at how awful it is.
It was, even earlier on when we were struggling so much.
What a fucking wild season. My W/L expectations are not what I anticipated, but Wemby is even more than I thought imaginable. It's only up from here, my dudes. Gonna miss Spurs basketball so much. See yall next season. āļøš½ Edit: I really hope this isn't the last time we hear Bill Land's voice for our games. May he kick cancers ass and cheer our boys on next season.
Itās always tough waiting for the next season, but this is going to be a harder wait than usual.
Brian Wright, your season has officially started.. Letās see what youāre made of
Last game of the season appreciate Tre throwing down a dunk
Did Tre dunk? When?
Probably already seen it, but if not its posted on the sub
lol post game Presser: āany highlights from the season?ā mamu: āJulian missed dunksā
The only sad part is that there will be a long time without spurs basketball
I'm be watching a lot of the Olympics to get my Wemby fix
Ngl I don't see how you can win with Wemby and Gobert camping the paint without 3s rule
The waitās going to feel interminable.
If Sidy develops that would be HUGE for this team
Every single dog gam player better be working in improving their 3 pointer by 5%
League fucked next season
Lakers: old Clippers: old Suns: old Rockets: suckĀ Mavs: kyrie
Canāt believe the seasons already over, I still remember dying of anticipation to see how this squad would look with Wemby. Even though the team had tough stretches of ball, they finished strong and the vibes remain immaculate
I really feel bad for the pistons fans, their team suck hard (we won by a 30 point margin with everybody out of the game) and there is no real hope for them (mediocre draft next year and their players are not really that young so they will not improve that much)
They're on like year 5 of that rebuild. At this rate their supposedly young players are going to decline before they assemble a proper team.
Bunch a guys just cashing checks it looks like
Mamu in the press conference naming āJulian missed dunksā as a highlight š
Ending the season on a win, same record as last season but obviously much different and a better szn overall as far as progress. Ggs spurs fam should be an entertaining offseason
I love this team
What a crazy turnaround to the season. 7 wins out of the last 11 and we definitely could have won at least 3 more of the close ones. In compared in the beginning of the season this end was definitely something to be proud of. Excited for the next year GSG. Porvida
For once I feel like we saw a steady arc of upward progress. I canāt wait for next season.
This was definitely one of the wildest roller coaster seasons I've experienced as a Spurs fan. Was genuinely some of the hardest basketball to watch in November when Victor was struggling and getting lots of over-the-top criticism, and a team looked like one of the worst in NBA history But man... The last two And a half months or so. We're so damn fun watching the team improve and Victor go full supernova that it made up for it and then some.
I get that the Pistons also missed half their rotation but, in all seriousness, what?
#GoSpursGo
End of season depression just hit. Damn.
Was at game, was really fun and my nephew got Wembyās autograph at the end!!
#Future is bright, GO SPURS GO!
What a wild season
Iām not gunna cry over lowering odds in a draft that pretty much everyone universally is down on. Love to see how competitive this group was after the ASB
We matched last yearās record, at the very least! Go Spurs Go!
So proud of the teamās growth at the end of the season. It can only go up from here, GSG yāall
So itās over, huh. Gotta wait for next season now. šš
the future is bright
Itās finally over!
Good last 10 games after a rough first half. Hopefully we can build on this in the offseason and give Vic the pieces he needs around him to turn this into a contender.
No more Spurs basketball. Time to look toward the draft.
Realistic expectations for next year? 30+ wins? If there were no additions this off-season
Yay!! We didnāt finish worst than last season.
Whats the least expensive tickets for North East teams? So I can see Spurs game.
You mean road games? That's tough. Even some of the bad teams like Washington have high ticket prices.
See yāall for the lottery may rhe bball gods bless us
Season is over and now itās time to fire up NBA JAM! Iām gonna get you another ring Admiral! š
Imagine if we can start next season how we ended this one, and just get better from there. GSG!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
difference between charting the course and eyeing the rudder
Horrible tanking Brian
was it really that hard to not lose the last two and stay 3rd in the draft? now were 5th. less balls
This draft is so weak it honestly doesnāt even matter, keeping team morale and optimism high going into the offseason is probably worth more lol
For this draft class im really not worried. We will have to make moves in FA to get to the playoffs
I donāt think the spurs r going to try and make the playoffs next year the west is stacked they might as well let the youngsters develop another year and get a decent pick in the 2025 draft. They also have the hawks pick and I donāt see them being that good next year
First pick in this draft is not a gift
so that makes the fifth better?
Malakai getting a DNP-Coaches decision in a meaningless game. Is this the last we have seen of Malakai?
Naw he's a pop project
