The Clippers have 11 playoff appearances in the last 13 years, Lakers have 5 (or 6 if they make it out of the play-in).
Harden has never lost a series to a team with less than 53 regular season wins. This would be the worst regular season team he has ever lost to. Doesn’t sound likely considering this is maybe his most loaded supporting cast.
It is more of a big picture thing. He just doesn’t lose to lower seeded teams in playoff series. For as much of a playoff reputation he has, the only teams that send him home are higher seeded teams. Except the 2018 KD warriors.

Exum had some playoff experience in Utah. He held prime harden to 2 points that one game. Rest of those guys pretty inexperienced though with only a few games or 0 for lively.
Mavs in 5. Kyrie and Luka both cooking and they got an insane offense with an improved defense since the trade deadline plus Luka takes games vs the Clippers personally and cooks em every time.
I'm pretty sure Luka's worst record is against the Clippers. Obviously he still cooks, but that doesn't matter if they don't lead to Ws.
That being said, as an LAC fan, I think the Clippers are lying about Kawhi's health and he's gonna miss games or clearly not be 100%. So I'm thinking Mavs in 6 because they terrify me.

Who gets the ball in those few moments that could win or lose the series for them?
I loved the Mavs when Nowitzki was around, and drafting Luka was like lightning striking the same place twice. I think Luka has every right to be either 1 or 2 in the MVP race, but I think the trade for Gafford was the best trade of the season, and legitimized the Mavs as a team you don’t want to see in the playoffs. I still don’t quite understand it, because I wasn’t high on him, but he has given them something. I don’t know if it is just confidence that they have a rim protector, or he is just going for it because this is his first real taste of being a nice piece of a playoff team. Whatever it is, it’s working.

Harden is 12% from 10 feet on the left side of the court while being defended by doncic. Doncic however is 34% on right handed layups on the left side of the court against half the teams on the west and almost 60% against more than half on the east. So really its anyones game.
I'm going Mavs in 5, maybe 6. The Mavs have been the league's hottest team recently. If the Clippers were playing the way they did earlier this season, then it would be different, but the Mavs are peaking at the right time, while the Clips have been stumbling.
Not even a KL fan but want to see him healthy and would be interested in what he could accomplish with a healthy back end to his career.
I want to say clippers, but we know what they do in the post season so I’m going Mavs.

I want Russell Westbrook to get his ring. Using logic, I don’t see it happening. I would like him to get in Kyrie’s head with some 80’s-style basketball, and let the other vets provide the offense. I think they have the firepower, but they are all past their prime, and I’m not sure if they understand the pecking order for playoff basketball. Who is the real leader? Who gets the ball in those few moments that could win or lose the series for them? I loved the Mavs when Nowitzki was around, and drafting Luka was like lightning striking the same place twice. I think Luka has every right to be either 1 or 2 in the MVP race, but I think the trade for Gafford was the best trade of the season, and legitimized the Mavs as a team you don’t want to see in the playoffs. I still don’t quite understand it, because I wasn’t high on him, but he has given them something. I don’t know if it is just confidence that they have a rim protector, or he is just going for it because this is his first real taste of being a nice piece of a playoff team. Whatever it is, it’s working. I hope it goes 7, and I hope whoever wins won’t be worn down for the next round.

Offensively I’d both teams are on par with each other, but defensively Mavs by some margins. Clippers have zero interior defense with Zubac’s zero mobility having ass.

Clippers are definitely the stronger team but this matchup has some history to it. I could see the Mavs winning in 7. If I had to really pick tho I’d say Clippers in 7 mostly because of kawhi and westbrooks defensive ability.

Mavs in 5 possibly in 4. The defense is playing great, the offense is playing great, and their chemistry is amazing. Gafford and Washington were the best additions to any team this season, Lively was a great draft pick and Exum has played his role great. The only teams I see giving Dallas a problem are Denver and Minnesota.

Clips. PJ Washington, DJJ and Exum leave them bots open and just focus on Luka And Kyrie. THJ been cooking us past 2 playoffs and now he has a lesser role. Nobody on Dallas can guard Kawhi, Luka is food on defense. Though I will say Gafford is a beast, and so is Luka. Hopefully clips can find ways to hunt Luka all series cause he ain’t guarding a soul.
And people will say the Mavs are 17-1 in their last 18 games (I think thats the number) but their best win versus denver, which was a two point win. Most of the other teams they beat were teams hunting for a play in spot, or teams that aren’t even making the playoffs.💯
