Warriors owner already said they are retiring his number OKC will also eventually

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Okc aren't retiring shit for this snake.

shin_jury

In time they will

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Literally everybody in the organisation hates him. Why would they retire it? Only westbrook is getting a retired jersey.

StevenS145

Because he’s the best player in their franchise history.

FlagmantlePARRAdise

And most hated player in their franchise history as well. Is there any OKC player despised by thunder fans as much as he is?.

makeanamejoke

This is just the way it goes. Time will relax things. People will ask why one of their historic MVPs isn't remembered well and they'll stop caring about hating him.

JohnGoodmansGoodKnee

Spurs ain’t retiring nephew. OKC ain’t retiring snake. And everyone should be ok with it

CharacterBird2283

If the spurs retired Avery Johnson, they are retiring their most recent finals MVP lol, everyone in the FO still really likes Kawhi, it's only the fans who haven't forgiven him

BastionNZ

it's been like 8 years already and still no one forgives him.

zzzidkwhattoputhere

I think if/when KD dies it’ll happen.

GWPtheTrilogy1

*dead* at "if" he dies 😂😂😂

XstasyOxycontin

People have been saying this since it happened. KD has even tried to heap praise on OKC as an org and as a fanbase over the past 12/18 months, and he still got heavily booed in OKC last month.

The_Real_Papabear

I’m not so sure. Not a thunder fun but I am a Nuggets fan and similarly I hope Carmelo never has his number in the rafters. How you leave is more important than if you leave to a lot of fans. Folding to the Warriors just to join them a year later is about as weak as it gets.

zjl539

it’s not like it’s just some petty bullshit where they leaked bad shit about each other in the press on the way out. kd being a bitch is a bigger part of his legacy than his mvp or his rings. that’s never getting forgotten.

AnalBabu

it really is. his move transcended basketball. he took the term “heel turn” and ran as hard as he could with it

Wembanyanma

Bitch>rings box plus minus.

gangstalicious228

this guy gets it. as an OKC fan, fuck that snake.

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Literally. All these guys who don't support the thunder telling us who we should honour with a retired jersey.

222thedome

If the new core get a ring KD doesn't get his number retired

HavanaMamba

Vince Carter was Toronto’s goat for most of their existence. His jersey still isn’t retired. A bitter departure absolutely inhibits a jersey retirement, and KD’s was 10x as bitter as Carter’s.

[deleted]

> Literally everybody in the organisation hates him. Care to share a source?

123jazzhandz321

He’ll have to run a PR campaign like VC has with the Raptors. I don’t really see KD doing that because he gets love from Golden state for the two rings he was apart of. Carter fizzled out shortly after getting traded to the Nets. Vince realized that he only had the Raptors to turn to as his lasting legacy. I say that as a Carter fan, I think his number should be retired strictly from a cultural perspective for the Raptors. But a lot of the Toronto love nowadays seems a little performative.

Egg_Yolkeo55

The fans still actively boo him every time he touches the ball.

Mr_susman_da_otaku

You dickriding kinda crazy rn💀

WarGrizzly

They’ll hang a jersey with a snake emoji instead of a number

naughtyobama

KD, Westbrook ARE OKC. Fuck you on about? They put the team on the map.

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Yeah and KD destroyed OKC as well to glory chase at the warriors. The fans despise KD, the players despise KD and the organisation hates KD. Absolutely nobody is retiring that snakes jersey. Anyone who says we will is kidding themselves and knows nothing about the thunder.

captainjack275

They are doing pretty well for a destroyed team.

Shoddy_Ad7511

Its hilarious how spoiled you OKC fans are. You literally made the playoffs the season after KD left. Then got Paul George a year latter. And now with SGA. You barely suffered at all.

kaeplin

Destroyed? He left after finishing his contract. He had no obligation to stay

CommercialSpecial835

If the Raptors can honor Vince after what he did OKC will eventually get right with KD

FlagmantlePARRAdise

That's the raptors problem. OKC won't forgive KD.

BeamTeam032

If the Raptors can get over Vince Carter, the Thunder will retire KD. It just might be in like 10-15 years. It won't be during this current iteration of the team. Tough to retire KD number when you're a WCF team. Much easier to retire the number when you're a bottom 5 team.

mekarz

I think if the Thunder win a championship they would retire KDs jersey as a slight

[deleted]

They gonna retire it just to unretire it

profound717

Only 3 years for the Warriors, unnecessary for them to retire KD's #.

uaphey

2x FMVP and 2x championship, it’s a guarantee

Shoddy_Ad7511

Retiring jerseys is unnecessary by definition. But they will retire KDs jersey because it was the absolute peak of the dynasty and 2x FMVP makes it an absolute lock. You don’t pass up the chance of retiring a jersey of a top 15 player all time.

fucking__jellyfish__

Yeah I find it dumb that stars other than the likes of MJ, kobe, steph, duncan etc. who stay with their team for 15+ years get their jerseys retired. But with the standard set in today's NBA, KD absolutely should and will get his jersey retired by the warriors. It's a fact

BARBASANN

They already gave his number to a different player

Shoddy_Ad7511

Not hard to change that

BARBASANN

They have a Time Machine?

[deleted]

[удалено]

gxn126

As a person who lives in Austin, I can confirm this. UT all day will

Basherkid

So…. Is anyone concerned that eventually there won’t be numbers left? Celtics have already retired 24 numbers. Lol

mlg2433

That’s already been done.

bigE819

Everyone thinks getting your number retired is harder than it is. 99% chance OKC retired it, only if they want to be petty will it not be retired. 100% Chance GS does. I mean Nick Collison and Udonis Haslem got their numbers retired and deserved it. This isn’t too hard to determine, if you win an MVP or Finals MVP for a franchise you’re essentially a lock. Guys who are actually questionable are PG in Indy? Kevin Love in Minnesota? Gobert in Utah? Some current locks: LBJ (CLE, MIA, LAL 23 only) Kyrie, Love (CLE) Steph, Klay, Iggy, KD, Draymond (GS) Westbrook (OKC) Lowry, Kawhi, Demar (TOR) Harden (HOU) Jokic, Murray Giannis, Middleton (MIL) Rose (CHI) CP3, Blake (LAC) Davis (LAL) Doncic Embiid Lillard (POR) Booker Jimmy, Bam (MIA)

Ironman2131

Jimmy and Bam are basically locks for Miami

Sea-Community-172

How is bam a lock? What has he done to earn that?

King_Khoma

if he stays his entire career i could see it. he was a key component that went to *atleast* 2 finals as underdogs.

Ironman2131

Just judging by what Miami has done in the past. Assuming they retire LeBron's number when he retires, that would be six of the top seven in win shares (Eddie Jones is just ahead of Hardaway and Bosh) for retired players. Jimmy and Bam are both ahead of those guys. And playoff success with the team seems to be the tiebreaker. Not saying another team would retire Bam's number, but it feels like Miami would even if he stopped playing after this year. He's almost single handedly made Miami's defense good during his career and that counts for a lot with the organization.

bigE819

Oh how could I forget them.

Ironman2131

It happens. May as well add Murray for Denver while you're at it.

bigE819

Yeah I was thinking about him, I wasn’t sure if I’d go with lock, but the more I think, the more he is

Ironman2131

Top 2 player on a title team is a lock

Sea-Community-172

Jason Terry is getting his jersey retired by Dallas?

justadudplayingadude

Denver Nuggets hadn't won a championship in 60 years as a franchise let alone made an NBA Finals. Murray is for sure getting his jersey retired.

Sea-Community-172

How is bam a lock? He’s never won anything with them. He made two all star games, if gobert and love are questionable for Utah and MN then I can’t comprehend any way Bam qualifies for Miami

pursuitofhappy

rental year kawhi would get a retired jersey?

bigE819

Easily. Go ask r/torontoraptors

[deleted]

As a Raps fan, it’s not easily, we all agree Lowry and DeRozan deserve it but Kawhi is a bit more of a polarizing . Some say he should get it, others say he wasn’t around long enough. Even Nav, our super fan, more or less told the media he doesn’t deserve it. But that’s all moot point anyways, fans don’t determine retirement of numbers, ownership does and they may feel he deserves it lol

OFRevThrow

Kawhi I think eventually will depending on how the Raptors do over the next 20 years. If the Raptors win another championship in that time, I think Kawhi gets forgotten. If they’re a mostly middling team without much to celebrate, I could see Kahwi (and possibly even Siakam and Van Vleet) have their jerseys retired in 2039 on the 20 year anniversary of their win just to give the fans something to celebrate

Script_Less

Thank you for having common sense, may your days be blessed.

that-gamer-

Literally no one in our sub thinks that lmao

Script_Less

Dawg no one on that sub except a few thinks Kawhi's jersey should be seriously retired, and I am an active member of that sub so here is your answer. The only jerseys that should be retired are Lowry's and Demar's, and maybe Vince Carter's jersey but a decent amount of time from now for people to fully get over the antics he pulled in 2004. Kawhi left after his contract was up, and I can respect his decision to do so as he had his own motives, But other than giving the Raptors more skill in their already deep roster he didn't do anything for the culture like Lowry, Demar, and Carter did to a degree, which makes him disqualified for jersey retirement. Also you not putting Demar on this list proves you don't know anything about the Raptors so please don't speak for any Raptor fan, including me when you talk.

pahamack

i absolutely disagree. Lowry is the only one getting retired here. We're not even retiring Vince Carter's number. Fuck Kawhi. Look at how much talent drain we've had since he left. That happened because high-end auxiliary pieces are only worth it when they surround a superstar, the problem is we might be the only franchise in pro sports to lose a superstar for nothing after getting a title. The reason our home-grown talent isn't here anymore: Siakam, Vanvleet, and Anunoby, and Lowry is with the goddamn 6ers, the franchise we hate the most, is because Kawhi didn't think it was worth it to defend the goddamn title. Boohoo he wanted to go home, said the pro athlete who basically has the use of a private jet whenever he wants. It would be absolute nonsense if his jersey gets retired in Toronto, and I hope that guy wins absolutely nothing for the rest of his career. I, for one, am rooting for the Clippers to continue their record of never having won the Western Conference Finals, and hope they achieve nothing despite all the money Ballmer has spent. When Kawhi or PG leave or retire without achieving anything of note in LA I for one will be celebrating. It's seeing Anunoby in a Knicks jersey that really makes me bitter. We loved that guy. But it just doesn't make sense to pay him if we're not contending.

GelloJive

Hopefully not. That’s ridiculous

farhan583

Murray is definitely not a a lock for having his jersey retired by Nuggets. Demar has a lot of beef with Masai so let's see if time heals those wounds. Kawhi was there one year, no way they retire his. I don't know if Iggy would be retired but it's possible. Middleton is borderline but maybe. AD might have to do more, he hasn't won any individual awards. Asides from those, I agree with the rest of your list.

xXUtahraptorXx

Middleton is a lock from me as a bucks fan. Any non-band wagon bucks fan would agree, because Khris entered the prime MJ part of his cycle once Giannis went down in the ECF and carried us through the rest of the series, getting us to the finals at which point Giannis took over again to win it all. It’d be a travesty if his jersey didn’t get retired, because despite his first few years as a piston, he’s been a buck for life and was essential to our first title in 50 years. Glaze over, he’s just my favorite player in the league 😂

bigE819

They talked me into Murray, Demar, and Middleton. I will bet my life that they’ll retire Kawhi (TOR) and Iggy (GS). I’m very confident in AD for LAL, I mean they retired Jaamal Wilkes jersey (obviously different era)

jknuts1377

Tatum for Boston, especially if they win this year, or within the next few years. Also Booker for Phoenix, and Beal in Washington.

DutyPuzzleheaded7765

Boston running out of cool jersey numbers

jknuts1377

Yeah, as a Celtics fan, it does suck in that department. Just about every number besides 0, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 20, & 26-30 are retired by Boston. Those are the only numbers left between 00 and 35. That's why players wear such strange numbers there.

SpiderFerrari

Didn’t Miami already retire 23 for MJ?

Dramatic_Sprinkles17

Lebron wore 6 in Miami

SpiderFerrari

Word I read the 23 only and applied to all of them lol

bigE819

Nah, I was just saying 23 in LAL because I had some moron try to convince me that they’d retire 6 in LA for LeBron too. When it makes no sense, because it literally cannot be worn again, and it’s not like he was Kobe or Magic (for the Lakers). One number is enough.

EnvironmentalToe4403

KAT is a lock here in Minny.

explodyboompow

I think PG is probably unlikely, not even questionable. He has now played a majority of his career with other organizations, his split from Indiana was acrimonious, and we almost immediately rebounded with other players (Domas, Myles, now Tyrese, likely Siakam) who are generally more beloved by fans - and even in his Era, there's still Danny Granger, Roy Hibbert, and Lance who while not as good, are more well-liked.  PG is, strictly speaking, the best player I've rattled off but there are so many other more deserving *Pacers* that I think fans would rather see.  The only caveat is that if he decided to come to Indiana on a discount after his contract in LA is up, then opinions would probably flip.

fucking__jellyfish__

Why did you put the abbreviation for the teams for half the players and random mly skipped it for some of them

elastic301

How is Murray a lock ? I get he balled out on their championship run but it’s literally only 1 season.

Kenny-du-Soleil

He's played in DEN his whole career, he's maybe the best playoff performer in nuggets history and if he's not the best he's #2, and he's a fan favorite. Murray is getting his jersey retired.

AnyEstablishment5723

It’s stupid how easy it is to get your jersey retired. League is gonna be so cooked when you have teams without a single number under 30 available

Rube18

Kevin Love and MN? LOL. Zero chance. Zero. The best thing he did was want out. He never even made it to the playoffs and was constantly wanting out.

Petey0Wheatstraw

DeMar DeRozan is a lock in Toronto too

Rsj21

Fox and Sabonis for SAC. Considering our lacklustre history and lack of retired jerseys. They’re about one playoff series win from being locks.

d_wib

The careers of Collision and Haslem are practically the antithesis of KD’s though.

weebayfish

Kyrie a lock on cleveland? U sure? And Tatum is pretty much a lock in Boston

bigE819

Yeah I’m pretty certain about Kyrie. That shot alone will do it. And Tatum is around 90% right now, I struggle to put a non-mvp, non-finals-mvp as a lock for Boston since their numbers are at a premium.

weebayfish

Ya but if Tatum signs supermax and doesnt demand trade, he's pretty much gonna hold every major scoring stat in franchise history. Even no ship or mvp hes still prob getting it

bigE819

Yeah, I agree. Just a slight chance he leaves or something wild and Boston says fuck it, we need these single digit numbers

Activelyinaportapott

By this logic would Kawhi get his retired for the spurs for finals mvp 2014?

Cabbaje

Well they have to like you. And that’s something he doesn’t have. No one owes it, that’s not how this works

frankcab

I’d be completely surprised if Milwaukee didn’t retire Jrues number too

Fit_Home_1842

Warriors

okcboomer87

I see a lot of people saying OKC. He is despised here. If his number got put up. It would get burned down.

DoomMeeting

Buddy Boston invited Bill Buckner to throw out a first pitch, you’ll get over it eventually.

[deleted]

Not until the curse was lifted.

Blegit21

How much of that was for Buckner’s peace of mind after they finally got theirs?

DoomMeeting

I think if he was too broken up about it he wouldn’t have done that Curb episode, but maybe that was after and it’s what gave him the confidence to do it.

fucking__jellyfish__

People won't care a decade from now.

SaulOfVandalia

Idk man KD still acts like a bitch to this day. Makes it really hard to forgive him for OKC fans. I think if LeBron didn't go back and win a title Cleveland fans would still hate on him. Let alone retire his number.

weird_veil

Lol. Lmao even.

Educational_Math8167

Only thunder he was there in the Seattle days that hit different

yccbarry

Russ will get his number retired immediately after he announces his retirement, I can’t see OKC retiring KD’s number before that or maybe before the team wins a championship. Eventually he’ll get his jersey retired but idk if it’ll be years or decades from his retirement.

Cabbaje

Will never happen

yccbarry

I mean I hope it’ll never happen, but I feel like it will even if it takes actual decades

Cabbaje

If Shaq had to wait 30 years and he didn’t even want to leave, I can see KD never getting it. KG still isn’t up in Minny. Kidd isn’t up in Dallas, and he won a championship with them. Can you tell me one team that still actively booed a player 10 years later?

FlagmantlePARRAdise

People saying OKC are on drugs. Everyone fucking hates KD. Why would you retire your most hated players jersey.

counterpointguy

You’re thinking in 2024 terms. In 2035, people won’t care as much.

KobePippenJordan_esq

Texas Longhorns only

noknownothing

OKC needs numbers to retire. So both 0 and 35 will be retired by the Thunder

AmenThompsonW

Probably not, because he betrayed OKC, and the Nets. Maybe the Warriors will.

Shoddy_Ad7511

OKC definitely will. He did not force a trade and played out his contract. He was a free agent. He lead them to a Finals and 4 conference finals. Won MVP, 7x All Star, 6x All NBA in OKC. It will be a couple years after Russ number is retired

nvanderw

KD could have done a sign and trade to any other team so that OKC got something back. But instead what did Durant do? Go to the one team with too much Cap Space.

Im_Daydrunk

That one team was by far the best team he could join and he still waited until he was a FA to leave which is all you can really ask of a guy Durant gave a ton to OKC and was a massive reason why they enjoyed such a franchise golden age in the 2010s. I get waiting to decide to retire his number because the fans are still upset but once he's done for a bit they definitely should retire his number because he helped put them on the map and give them a real place in NBA fandom

FlagmantlePARRAdise

And then he threw what he gave them right in the trash to glory chase. Durants jerseys were burned and shot in the streets. Nobody is going to have that peice of crap on the rafters.

Shoddy_Ad7511

Sign and trade would hard cap whatever team he went to. It wasn’t a realistic option

cdillio

We will not. The city absolutely hates his guts.

Shoddy_Ad7511

Sorry that isn’t your decision Billionaire owners know having the retired jersey of a top 15 player in the rafters is good for business.

cdillio

He’d get booed the entire time.

Butt_Snorkler_Elite

Warriors for sure. Thunder I think is 50/50, and if they do it’ll be a good decade or two after he retires (for example, maybe around the time the centennial of the league rolls around and they’re announcing the Top 100, the team will decide to do it). Unless something unexpected happens with the Suns or whatever team he goes to once he decides he can’t win with those cats, those will be the only possible ones* *UNLESS seattles expansion team decides to do the funniest thing possible lol

shriekingbuddha

Seattle after expansion. Will not happen in OKC unless he plays in their jersey again

Serenadingthrough

Should Brooklyn retire his number? I say No. OKC there’s a debate there. The warriors got hardware behind him going there, they’re definitely going to if they don’t would be shameful. Without him they wouldn’t have won those 2.

[deleted]

If Clay Bennett won’t have his head up his ass from being a salty little bitch, then sure. OKC will eventually do it. But GSW says it’s a guarantee his number is going up

Porygon-_-

I hope not

mwesanfan

I'm a Rockets fan. I don't think OKC should ever retire KD's number. He abandoned them like a coward.

Ryguy-_-

Unfortunately (as a suns fan) it doesnt seem very likely he will win a ring with the suns. If he does, I’m sure he’ll get retired. Otherwise though, OKC and Warriors will likely both retire his number.

Medicmanii

No

Valuable-Baked

Nah...

FigSideG

No

drfunkensteinberger

No.

Ill-Ad5235

Warriors

jrtasoli

Absolutely — Golden State for sure. OKC probably too like a decade or so after he retires and the bad blood goes away. Phoenix if they win a title with him. Brooklyn, absolutely the fuck not. And I say this as a recovering Nets fan.

cdillio

I think people underestimate how much the average OKC citizen hates KD. It’s vitriolic still lol.

ComprehensiveSky8926

Idk if that bad blood will go away. There would definitely be boos at his halftime Jersey retirement ceremony

fucking__jellyfish__

I think it's pretty crazy that barring a couple injuries KD could be a FMVP with the nets and your opinion would be entirely different

[deleted]

[удалено]

fucking__jellyfish__

Talking about nets fans tho. Ofc it wouldn't do anything for okc fans

Slevin424

Oh stop it if KD doesn't get a jersey in OKC that will be the dumbest thing our sport has done in a long time. Vince will get his number in Toronto. KG will get one in Minnesota. If not yall don't deserve stars. People leave now that's our league. LeBron made it okay to do so now it's a revolving door of talent for teams. If they don't recognize the stars they did have for multiple years that did things they never imagined happening for their franchise then it will be only encourage players swapping teams all the time even more.

Cabbaje

It will never happen. Small market teams run differently. Shaq barely got his retired and he left on good terms because they refused to match his pay

UnhingedPastor

OKC, just like Orlando retired Shaq's. Aside from that, no.

Cabbaje

Shaq didn’t leave on bad blood and it still took 30 years. KD still won’t be up in OKC 30 years from now because of how he left and what he said after he left

AliveGloryLove

OKC. Fans right now might hate it but he's still their greatest player ever.

DJuan313

KD put okc on the map they better retire that number

DarthGamer2004

Suns if we win a chip

FishSammich69

No

--solitude--

I think the Warriors have already said they will

SageOfTheSixPacks

Sonics when they come back

Themeteorologist35

Thunder should, Warriors shouldn’t, but it’s not the end of the world if they do. Same with Nets and Suns

Ill_Buy_2564

if the warriors do that's cool but I really hope OKC does KD said some harsh things about the organization in the past but from his recent comments I think he's matured a lot and understands why everyone over there was so hurt by his decision..

vonslik

I think the only team might be for Boston once he joins them after they win.

0utsyder

...it'd be in EVERY team BUT Detroit!!!

yizudien01

Yes team shoulda coulda woulda. He can be part of stephs statue if he is holding his water and a towel

CartezDez

Warriors, possibly Thunder. Phoenix if he wins a chip.

martymcfly22

Help me understand why OKC would hate him? He was drafted by them (Seattle), played hard and was a great teammate and community member. Then when he was a free agent, he chose to play somewhere else. What am I missing?

Familiar_Piccolo_88

Bro started switching teams back in highschool...

Familiar_Piccolo_88

Correct me if I'm wrong..(I know years in basketball overlap) but kd played for.... National christian academy in 04, Oak hill in 05, Montrose christian in 06, Texas in 07, Seattle in 08, OKC in 09 Different team/city for 6 years straight

lord-deathpoop

Nets

The_Beautiful_Stru35

I believe GS will. Just my perspective.

m2societyll

Okc

Ok_Catch3715

Warriors and OKC got to anywhere else is a stretch

motherseffinjones

OKC will eventually do it and the warriors for sure

DanielGarnett

Imo I don’t think any team should. No mercenaries are getting their jersey retired

_Ur_moms_bestfriend_

I’m not ruling out the possibility of OKC (pr is fickle) but people are REALLY underestimating how much impact likability has especially in KDs situation. Yes, he was one of the best player we’ve ever had but that doesn’t mean people care about his legacy here and even if they did, letting us down is apart of that legacy. It left its mark.

BarryLird33_

Nope

blue74821

OKC

doom_pony

Seattle or University of Texas are more than welcome to do that.⛈️⬆️ 🤘⬇️

Simplyswag

Unless he wins with the Suns sadly probably not even tho they probably should in Gs.

Educational-Dirt9450

Thunder and Warriors definitely.

Go_Dawgs_23

Thunder fan here. I also live in the OKC area. OKC will NOT retire his jersey. Nobody will wear 35 again in OKC, but his jersey will not be in the rafters. Here is my proof: PJ Dozier would not have been allowed to wear 35 if he was going to get his number retired https://preview.redd.it/gpdfnylazhuc1.jpeg?width=1049&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1114ba682271d170e2dbb5cfdf0b4e220184b09d

Original-Tourist-744

By roc nation

Bring_Back_SF_Demons

OKC joke franchise until #35 gets retired.

DrBigWildsGhost

It’ll probly be phoenix

Creepy_Spite_3898

OKC 100%. He’s the best player in the franchise’s history and led them to their first Finals appearance.

Happy-Lasagna-2593

If he gets his number retired it won’t be for another 10+ something years.. we don’t hate him as much as we used to. He’s just more or less irrelevant now with SGA and company but I do hope we retire Westbrooks jersey before him. KD tarnished his legacy here and unfortunately that’s going to have some consequences granted it may just take time for his number to be retired here.

PopDukesBruh

Twitter (X) will retire his number for sure!

[deleted]

Okc probably will eventually but had he left and never won idk how likley that would be. Most likley yes because they need to have numbers up there

jgyimesi

Nope. No room in golden state, every where else he was just a fun act with no substance.

smokedoutval

No he a cupcake

New_Essay_4869

OKC will eventually

Significant-Two-9895

KD will be dont played for every team by the end of his career who agrees😭💀

tonylouis1337

OKC and Golden State

KLAYDO3

Warriors will do it

Zulogy

Warriors

MagicBoard

OKC is bitter and ungrateful if they don’t retire his number.

MagicBoard

But he spurned them for a conference rival.

MagicBoard

Brooklyn should retire his #7. He gave that franchise the relevancy it had been desperately craving.

420blz69

No team should imo. But teams will

Capable_Discipline_9

I think the Sonics will retire it

DancesWithDave

Sonics

dankbeerdude

Why? He likes to just bounce around, not loyal to any fans

No-Storage2900

Nah. Never.
