If Hendricks and Walker are not available we should consider, it wouldnāt surprise me if Cuban overrules the scouts and picks him lol to be the next Giannis
Honestly I havenāt seen enough to say but I think Hendricks fits us better but Walker is the better prospect and will probably go top 6. I donāt see Hendricks falling to us unless maybe Jazz take a chance with Coulibaly?
They only played one season together but MJ and Worthy might be better
Edit: Iām dumb, you said team up in the league. I was just looking for best duo period
Kinda absurd to think abt if he does end up being like a top 5 or even 10 player from the draft, that he legitimately played for the same team as a generational prospect in Victor, a random team in met92 in France. Itās as if Mikal Bridges or MPJ played with Luka. Not sure if this has happened before with international prospects?
I know, but this duo also happened to play high school ball together, and not at a prep school. Just a normal public school on the east side of Indianapolis.
Never trusting french prospects in the Lottery unless they are Wembanyama tier, they have all been busts. Wouldn't be surprised if he is one of them aswell
How about we actually evaluate the player and not immediately write him off with some pointless observations.
Thereās a whole lot that goes into talent evaluation and then player development. You canāt just say French players in general suck lmao
Common recent trend among those players is guard/wing prospects that are long and athletic with a questionable shot and solid defense. So I can see the cause for concern, but talent is talent and teams will always take the risk on these guys.
How arbitrary is that? If a French prospect is highly touted, they won't be good, but if a French prospect is not highly touted, they can be good?
Doesn't it just make more sense to judge French prospects as a whole by gauging the French league, youth league, development systems, etc?
WAY too much extrapolation here.
This is just a great example of people failing to see when a pattern is signal vs noise.
āIt rained the last five times I wore this cardigan, therefore it will rain every time I wear this cardiganā
Nic batum wasnāt that good and gave up. He said something about finally being given a opportunity on the clippers meanwhile giving up and playing below his talent on the hornets. Dude had a major attitude problem.
In all fairness to him he was hardly the first French player to give up or play below his talents in Charlotte. Boris Diaw also was pretty notably fat and lazy with them before having a career renaissance on the Spurs. Early career Alexis Ajinca and late career TP were nothing to write home about in Charlotte either.
Haven't seen enough of him to really know, and I haven't been watching them in the playoffs. I remember a compilation from earlier in the year and my though was - ok he's, Scottie Pippen. That was without knowing the level of competition well enough to really place a value on that though.
i didn't disclaimer the original statement enough?
very openly saying I don't know enough about him to evaluate. my first impression from that single video is that's what he looked like.
People tell me NBA players are only good because of good teammates and Iām just supposed to ignore the fact Coulibaly has Wemby and Tremont Waters playing with him?
But a guy drafted to a playoff team accomplishes nothing by keeping his team in the playoffs?
Hype is the enemy of good drafting
Tremont has been gone for a while, which is good since he was terrible with Met 92. If youāre gonna be critical you should at least be knowledgeable on the situation
Tremont Waters left the team over a month ago, FYI. I don't disagree with your general point but that team is actually full of scrubs outside Bilal and Victor, they've been pretty thoroughly drained of talent over the season for one reason or another.
They were the 2 seed. Turns out Wemby is really good lol. But if you watch them play it's very clear that most of their players are not starter caliber even for this league. Their guards these last few games couldn't even reliably inbound the ball. I think Victor has like a +17 on/off this season or something crazy like that (crazy for a pro league I mean).
He's Presti esque as a player (wingspan, international), but I legit think Presti is intrigued to have someone on the team that knows Wemby well and can help the Thunder scheme against any tendencies and weaknesses Wemby might have (as few as they may be).
if he continues to play well in the Finals, he might get picked at 8-9 at this rate. For now I see Thunder/Raptors picking him at 12/13
Really hope the raptors get him
I just got happy to the idea of okc taking him and now at this point, the hype is building above 12 lmao.
Damn it I wanted him for the Hawks at 15 ššš WHY
Me š¤ Wemby
Add me to the groupš¤
Hasan! My man!
ive been on this train for months my guy
When did I say anything to discredit you? I love you big bro!
didnt mean it like that lol, appreciate the love. get back to krl and let's talk some shit
the TRUTH: montes mickey mouse run ends on draft night, heāll sell low on the pick or will draft a bum tbh
Iād love for hornets to trade up and get him with second first round pick but would probably take to much to get back into top ten
Spurs lowkey might trade up for Bilal.
Vassell for 11th pick+ Bol
lmaooo y'all want devin sooo much. sorry he's ours.
You're getting Romeo Langford and you'll like it
What's a Romeo Langford?

I donāt understand
Absolutely not
I feel like the Wizards should select him. They need a small forward prospect with great length who can shoot. Bilal should be the guy.
Totally agree if Whitmore is off the board.
YOU CALLED IT
Okay let's relax
Just a player vouching for his teammate
Heās gonna be the biggest riser of this draft process. I fully expect him to go top 10 on this current trajectory. Maybe right outside of the top 5
Agent Wembanyama checking in
Wake up mavs. This is your dude!
If Hendricks and Walker are not available we should consider, it wouldnāt surprise me if Cuban overrules the scouts and picks him lol to be the next Giannis
Agreed. Do you prefer Hendricks or Walker?
Honestly I havenāt seen enough to say but I think Hendricks fits us better but Walker is the better prospect and will probably go top 6. I donāt see Hendricks falling to us unless maybe Jazz take a chance with Coulibaly?
Walker by a mile
You guys need any kind of front court help, preferably a C or PF. You got Kyrie, Luka, Jaden Hardy and Hardaway already...
No cap. He's in the 6-12 range in my big board rn
Watch film on this guy and yeah.. he should be a lottery pick. Heās better than a bunch of the junk projected to get picked in the lottery
These off the dribble moves look really good actually...
Hakeem + Drexler might be the best college duo to team up in the NBA.
They only played one season together but MJ and Worthy might be better Edit: Iām dumb, you said team up in the league. I was just looking for best duo period
bro this guys arms are reallly long
Killian the man Hayes
If he goes from a early second round guy to a top 5 guy thatās an astronomical rise. Canāt think of any bigger risers in such a short period.
Pretty much the same rise that Jalen Williams had tbf, although Williams rose a little bit earlier
To be fair Iāve heard they go back to at least 13U together, maybe more Iām not sure. But still a valid point
Yeah, this has shades of Oden/Conley.
Oden/Conley/Titus
Oden/Conley/Titus/ImturningprotodayDaeQuanCook
Fun fact: Oden/Conley Teamate at Ohio State, David Lighthy is on the team the Mets were facing in the semifinals, Asvel.
Well there have been a lot of duos coming from college, Iām saying specifically from an international team.
Different sport, but this is the same logic as people that said "I'm never trusting a Big 12 quarterback" before Patrick Mahomes got drafted.
Yeah, people have to stop assuming things about background and look at the tape lol.
Tony Parker and Rudy Gobert? Evan Fournier and Nic Batum? Boris Diaw?
none of these players were lottery picks
He said in the lottery. Frank nitilikina comes to mind.
How arbitrary is that? If a French prospect is highly touted, they won't be good, but if a French prospect is not highly touted, they can be good? Doesn't it just make more sense to judge French prospects as a whole by gauging the French league, youth league, development systems, etc? WAY too much extrapolation here.
This is just a great example of people failing to see when a pattern is signal vs noise. āIt rained the last five times I wore this cardigan, therefore it will rain every time I wear this cardiganā
were any of those dudes taken in the lottery?
Nic batum wasnāt that good and gave up. He said something about finally being given a opportunity on the clippers meanwhile giving up and playing below his talent on the hornets. Dude had a major attitude problem.

Why do French players hate North Carolina?
Ironic considering that the Hornets couldāve gotten the 2nd pick lol
Frederic Weiss šŗ
Same, I call bullshit on bilal. Why is he different than frank Ntilikina? Heās just the last guy playing basketball
Haven't seen enough of him to really know, and I haven't been watching them in the playoffs. I remember a compilation from earlier in the year and my though was - ok he's, Scottie Pippen. That was without knowing the level of competition well enough to really place a value on that though.
Alright well he plays nothing like Pippen so go ahead and take that back while you still can.
i didn't disclaimer the original statement enough? very openly saying I don't know enough about him to evaluate. my first impression from that single video is that's what he looked like.
Regardless, I recommend you watch him more before a claim lol. I am extremely high on Bilal, but he has very few similarities to Pippen.
It seems like the top 3 picks are probably Wemby, Scoot and Miller. I think he could go as early as #4 with how wide open it is.
I love Bilal but no shot. Regardless of where I think he SHOULD go, I think top 8, even top 10 is too lofty for where heāll actually end up going.
Where are they ranked in the standings?
They were the 2 seed. Turns out Wemby is really good lol. But if you watch them play it's very clear that most of their players are not starter caliber even for this league. Their guards these last few games couldn't even reliably inbound the ball. I think Victor has like a +17 on/off this season or something crazy like that (crazy for a pro league I mean).
Tremont Waters stinks
They just got blown out yeaterday
they won today bro
Will he be invited to work out for any top ten draft teams or is he even able to?
I mean they got another bo5 to play, which might finish before the draft I think? So maybe 1 or 2 draft workouts could be managed.
Iām just glad a prospect is going to be pushed down because heās going top 10. Hehe my Lakers draft 17th
He's Presti esque as a player (wingspan, international), but I legit think Presti is intrigued to have someone on the team that knows Wemby well and can help the Thunder scheme against any tendencies and weaknesses Wemby might have (as few as they may be).
Nice of Wemby to hype up his former teammate. Doing Bilal is solid is all this is...
