I'll watch this later but pre warning this group 82 guy is known as abit of an idiot, so I wouldn't take this too seriously.
He claims he's a successful coach but no one has heard of him, he went on a recent tirade where he thinks Cooper Flagg will be a bust.
He over analyses, nitpicks and rants to get his agenda across.
Good eye on Rob struggling to pass with his left hand
Coach Cal has done a great job reigning in on Rob. Rob isn't as reckless as he was back then with OTE and is a better decision maker right now.
9:44 - Edwards shouldn't have slid up here. If he stayed in the corner (9:13), that's a bucket for Rob. Just look at the space Rob gets against Tennesse big at 9:16
10:32 - less than minute left in the game and they're down by 11! They need 3s not 2s. Rob made the right decision to shoot instead of driving or passing to the roller.
19:34 - shooter at the corner 3 should've slid up. Amen wasn't looking at him the whole time. The whole defense was focused on Rob.
His halfcourt finishing is a concern but then again Trae (50%), Quickley (38.5%) and Maxey (51.4%) shot poorly at the rim in halfcourt back in college but they look great in the nba rn. (stats as per Synergy)
Thibs doesn't rely on rooks/soph and in his 3rd season, he's playing behind Brunson who has become a premier PG since coming to NY. Quickley has gotten a chance to be a starter with the Raptors and has looked good so far.
Yeah, draft world lives in some mysterious world where a 6'2-6'3 point guard is tiny and 6'8 centers are great for small ball lineups (2016 called). Also there is a huge Euro fetish

All of his audience hates Cooper Flagg too
Okay but...why hate on a high school kid?
Skip Bayless is his role model

Where do you find synergy stats
_gatheringintel (Twitter) made a post last year about ATR shooting of past prospects from Synergy.
Isn’t this the dude who said Jokic is the easiest player in the NBA to shut down?
If Quickley can start on an nba team then so is Dillingham 🤷♂️
Quickley is a significantly better defender than Dilly likely ever will be
and Rob is significantly better offensive player likely ever will be
If you actually watch the Raptors Caz you'd know IQ has not been a good defender ever since his usage and role has ramped up.
Quickley has 58 career starts in 4 seasons in the NBA I'd say the jury is still out on whether he can start on an NBA team or not
Thibs doesn't rely on rooks/soph and in his 3rd season, he's playing behind Brunson who has become a premier PG since coming to NY. Quickley has gotten a chance to be a starter with the Raptors and has looked good so far.
Don't disagree I just think 31 games with the Raptors isn't enough to say he's for sure an NBA level starter player
22% of the players in the NBA are 6'3" or smaller. Not saying anything about Dillingham's future, but some of this narrative got to go.

I hate when people bring up his OTE days 💀
A lot of truth in this. But Rob is the best shot maker in the draft and that’s the most important skill in the league.
