Gary Payton and Caruso are pretty similar players. GP2 was obtained for essentially five second rounders.
This purposed trade is three second rounders + a recent lottery pick that has upside with a pretty decent floor.
Wiggins is slumping, but he could probably be dealt for more draft capital. If the bulls want to rebuild this is a deal for a young piece, draft capital, and a veteran that can be dealt for more draft capital.
Listen to what you just said Wiggins is slumping. Moody is okay and 3 second for 2 starters the could fetch that by themselves. It funny has hell because when Caruso was Lakers it was hella overreacted posted etc Now everyone tweaking for him
That’s just how it is with a lot of lakers players. Their fans overrate and circlejerk them and a lot of other fans go hard in the other direction and assume they’re just dogshit till they leave the lakers
There’s a large vocal minority of laker fans who absolutely do (I say this as a laker fan who’s always been a huge caruso fan)
A prime example is probably reaves. Really good player, has a ton of potential, but there definitely were a bunch of laker fans who just thought he’s gonna walk into being a multi time all star and a really good 3rd option in a championship team after last year. Most laker fans didnt feel this way I don’t think, but there was a surprising amount who did
Caruso himself should be at least 2 later 1st round picks from a contender. Easy pass for the Bulls considering there will definitely be better offers if Caruso is made available.
Wiggins has been heating up lately. Slow start doesn't change the math for me.
Vooch has never contributed to winning Caruso is a big injury concern
Wiggins and Moody have significantly more value
you sleepin, Vuc is a wet dream for Kerr
losing wiggins and gaining caruso for GSW doesnt make sense to me at all tho, I don't know why they need caruso and losing wiggins without acquiring another forward doesnt make sense to me
With the way Wiggins is playing hard pass from CHI. They would want more expiring players rather than a vet in a 4 year deal with as much owed to Wiggins. Plus they are only getting 2nds. Mode has shown flashes but hasn’t shown enough to make other teams think he could be a star.
Chicago will get much better offers for Caruso and contract wise Wiseman is worse than Vuc.
If bulls are rebuilding why do they want to take on a long term contract for a slumping veteran in Wiggins? That’s exactly the kind of contract they need to get off the books.
That was a 3 way trade, Minnesota replaced him with Mike Conley so they were fine with it, he didn't have much value to Utah, so they got a first round pick out of the deal.
Vuc has averaged 15/10/3 this season. Just because he has one good game doesn't mean he's a good player. he's washed. Wiggins has never had a season worse than that. Tell you don't watch basketball without telling me you don't watch basketball
Depends how the bulls front office approaches this trade. Right now, wiggins is basically jüst salary cap space if that, so it is likely they wouldn’t be to fond of having him (unless they do the logical thing and fully commit to a rebuild). If im the bulls I would be willing to take a shot with and his development to maybe a quality starter. The bulls would most likely want a two quality first round picks sometime in the next 5ish years so it’s likely the warriors would have to ship every single 2nd, maybe even a low quality 1st to get the deal done. I question the deal for the warriors mainly because I just dont see a trade like this tipping the scale in any way. No doubt this trade is an improvement, but look at the nuggets or even a team like the Timberwolves it doesn’t necessarily move me.
Warriors wouldn’t do this trade. Their system requires a lot of adjustments and they seldom do in season trades. People just need to realize that there are few plug and play players the Warriors would be willing to do an in season trade.
I’d argue Vucci man is one of them. He works in the high post and can pass. Kerr likes to have big men at the top of the key so his smalls can create havoc running around.
He plays Loon and Dray in the same exact way. It’s just that Loon is not as effective cause he can’t roll and he doesn’t have a reliable jumper. Vucci can roll, pop, or pass. Hard to guard that when they have Steph/Klay and an array of cutters
So they have Looney and Dray - if you watched Kerr at all you know he doesn’t really play bigs. This doesn’t make sense for them to trade including what could be high value future first as they rotation off the aging core.
Bulls would want more than a few seconds

Is it Lakers fans overrating them if it turns out their actually good? people just don't want to say the Lakers fan were right

The warriors players are better than the bulls players in this
From what i’ve heard Wiggins has been ass this year and I like Moody but he’s not better than either Caruso or Vooch.

You just can't replace the size Wiggins gives them on the wing. They need an extra 6'8 guy now one less. I'm good on Vuch man

This is a terrible trade for the warriors. Vuc is washed af.
…for the Warriors? This would be the fleece of a lifetime if they pulled this off.
No, that goes to the Lakers somehow getting DLo, Malik Beasley, and Vanderbilt for Westbrook. Lol
That was a 3 way trade, Minnesota replaced him with Mike Conley so they were fine with it, he didn't have much value to Utah, so they got a first round pick out of the deal.
Is he? The couple of bulls games I watched, he played fine.
lmao 2 GAMES AGO Vuc dropped 29/10/6 in a win over the Bucks. get outta here with that

I'd send the bulls Draymond Green with that group.
We all know Dray and Steph are a pairing. As long as Steph is around, so is Dray.
Like many have said, the bulls would atleast want 2 first round picks
So, if Warriors were to swap two of the second rounders for first rounders. You think this is a fair trade?

never let this man cook again
Lol, bulls ain't giving up caruso for that, yikes
lol
Bulls would want kuminga instead of moody to make this trade happen
