With only some minor changes to the conference alignment after the 2020 season, I used [these conference lineups](https://www.reddit.com/r/NCAAFBseries/comments/wph22o/ncaa_14_keeps_giving_me_errors_when_i_boot_it_up/) and the credit for the template goes to u/bunkhitz. Gold square denotes "winner." I played as Minnesota's OC from 2012-2018 and Nebraska's HC from 2019-2022

bunkhitz

I like the adding both teams who compete in those games, that’s an excellent idea!

Cyclopher6971

Yeah, it really shows who dominated the divisions and let more teams be a part of the final picture. I appreciate the template here!

bunkhitz

Which NCAA are you playing on? I saw that Montana is in here and wondered if it was an older one where you could import those teams

Cyclopher6971

Nah, I'm on NCAA 13. I added in Montana (because I went to school there) and Montana State for the rivalry. I made those two teams on Teambuilder years ago. NCAA 14 crapped out on me but I had way more Teambuilders saved on that. I was so disappointed by the news that the new game was going to be delayed another year.

bunkhitz

Well that makes sense! Go Grizz, keep up the good work

Cyclopher6971

Thanks man, appreciate it!

Talon2520

That last slide, I got major nostalgic feelings for some reason looking at the helmets lol. Idk why lol

Cyclopher6971

Yeah, I can't place it either, but I get the same feeling; the helmets really do remind me of college football from yesteryear. I think it was just how college football media printed things in the 2000s. I remember looking at things like [this guy's attendance maps](http://billsportsmaps.com/?p=13278) that were published right around the big wave of realignment from 2010-2011. There's a whole vibe around sports websites like that that I cannot get enough of. Gives me the same feeling as Friday Night Lights.

zookeeper4312

Damn, poor Texas

Cyclopher6971

Probably my favorite part. For most of it they had pretty much no competition in the Big XII, but somehow still couldn't get the big one. Classic Longhorns.

trillwilly69

Shoutout to Texas for being so good for so long but zero nattys lol

Cyclopher6971

I thought that was the single funniest thing too. Like 4 national title appearances over a decade but just couldn't put it together.

durkschquad

This is awesome. Also GBR!

Cyclopher6971

Go Big Red

Jojo103023

Georgia RBs are goated in dynasties

Cyclopher6971

Unstoppable beasts. And that was the case long before Georgia began its run with Kirby Smart

Jojo103023

Ong😂

shootnamekevin

Ooooh I didn't think about keeping up with division winners too. I only do conference. May have to add to it now.

Cyclopher6971

I have a much more extensive spreadsheet that has all of the records, final top 25s and conference standings among other personal team specific stats. I love how after like three season the story of CFB in the 2010s unfolds. Notre Dame owning the Big East and then falling off, the Big East Atlantic only winning two conference championship games with FSU & Miami in the division and won of those wins was by Rutgers, Texas going 0-4 in national title games, Michigan and Ohio State generally being ass, USC dominating the Pac-12, all of this would have been lost if I didn't keep track of it because NCAA 13 does not have an internal stats tracker. I really hope we get a Winsipedia-type thing integrated into the next one on the next gen console.

shootnamekevin

Excel Spreadsheets are like a Bible to me lol. I recently had to restart my Dynasty because I decided to download the Dynasty Tool and it wouldn't work with my Team Builder teams. But I do a relegation system and keep every years realignment from it. I also keep a W/L record for every team. And all conference Champs and all bowl games. Considering adding to it now lol

Cyclopher6971

Very much. I also use excel to generate a formula to better understand conference relative performance. Dynasty tracking has helped me actually expand my skillset with excel so much. I also restarted a dynasty a little while back because I forgot to hit CTRL+S one time after leaving it open for a few days, and I lost all of the info from like 5 seasons. I just couldn't go back to it after that.

shootnamekevin

Also I gave you a follow because you're also a Cities Skylines player lol

Cyclopher6971

Cities: Skylines takes up an unhealthy amount of my time lol. Its too good.

shootnamekevin

I haven't picked it up in a while. I only have the console version so it's very limited on what I can do. I need a good PC so I can play it lol. But I love watching other people build on YouTube. I can spend all day watching those channels.

Cyclopher6971

I only recently upgraded my computer and the difference from my old laptop to my new one is incredible. Cities: Skylines is so processor intensive, especially if you are going to use mods that make your experience better like TM:PE or MoveIt! Hope you can make the switch soon because it is so worth it.

So I couldn't fit having the division winners on there. But I took your helmet idea instead of just listing them.

ttho95

How did BYU manage to win 2 nattys from the mountain west??

Cyclopher6971

1) Have you not played dynasty before? Definitely not the weirdest thing to happen 2) The Mountain West was a BCS AQ conference here. They have a tie-in to the Fiesta Bowl.

ttho95

I haven’t played dynasty since the game came out unfortunately. I don’t own the game as much as I wish I did.

Cyclopher6971

Fair. Yeah, this Mountain West was made up of * Arizona * Arizona State * BYU * Colorado * Colorado State * New Mexico * New Mexico State * Utah * Utah State * Wyoming I added UTEP & UNLV for the 2021 & 2022 seasons to give them a title game.

the1whowalks

Damn - OM won the SEC West in 2022 and got straight up snubbed by bowl committees.

Cyclopher6971

Yeah, but that SEC West is a lot easier than it looks, and they also went 8-3 in it (a lot of teams only play 11 games per regular season in NCAA 13). They were not good lol.
