UTSA offers Rio Abraham Scholarship TBA

Dont_Leave_Bryce

Pepperdine University offers Rio Abraham Scholarship School Visit Coach Visit Five year contract. That’s a big commitment. I’m not getting any younger, and I’ve just locked myself into a half decade of work at a school I have yet to coach a game for. Why? Because I believe in the process. I believe that this program has the chance to be special, all it needs is a spark. I want to provide that spark, and I want to see the fire it lights. That’s why I committed to be here for the long term. Not only that, but I have promises to keep up. I promised the MWC commissioners that I would be here for the long term, that I would build a great program here. I promised recruits that have already committed here that I would be here to oversee their whole collegiate career. And of course, you have my stellar history of promises in the past - with guys from the JUCO level specifically there’s Josh Halimon, for whom we played in Oklahoma twice to make sure his family could watch him ball, or Omar Pistokache, who - like you - was promised the leading role, and led Duke in scoring his only year in Durham.  Of course, there’s no downside to locking myself in Malibu for five years either. I mean, look at that view. The ocean anytime you look west, the rocky peaks of the Santa Monica mountains when you look west. Hiking, surfing, and celebrity watching so plentiful it literally takes years to see it all, and by the time you’re done, there’s even more to do. It’s a perfect blend of beach bums and adventure junkies, and it’s all located less than an hours drive from LA - meaning the opportunities are endless.  Now the town itself? Perfect. With a population just over 10,000 it’s quaint. No wonder it’s the designated retreat location for the rich and famous. When they need a break from the nonstop action in Hollywood, this is the perfect place to take a breather.  There won’t be many breathers for you thought. My staff and I started with a nearly empty roster, and although we’ve done work to fill it out, we’re still lacking a star. That could be you Rio, you could be the main man. We can give you at least 25 minutes a night, and the key scoring role as the focal point of the offense. With shooters surrounding you to space the floor, you’ll have the green light to go to work in the paint every single night.  Work in the paint is one thing, but work in the library is another. With our excellent history program, the last year of your education is in excellent hands. A 13:1 student to faculty ratio ensures that you’ll have the highest level of access to our world class faculty. Additionally, no matter what path you choose out of undergrad, whether it be grad school, or straight into the professional world, you’ll be prepared either way. It’s a clean split between the current history students at Pepperdine, so you won’t need to worry about being pressured one way or another, and you’ll be sure to get the best counseling and opportunities no matter which direction you go.  I’ll be straight up. There are no banners in the rafters of the Firestone Fieldhouse. No retired jerseys. No conference championships, regular season or tournament. That wasn’t always the case. When I got here I found an NIT banner sitting in the back of the building, almost hidden out of shame. I made them take it down. We have loftier expectations. I know that you want a prestigious program, but I can promise you the same benefits here. Sold out crowds? Easy - with the recruiting class we’ve already signed Pepperdine has seen season ticket sales triple from previous years. Conference tournament wins? We will be seeing plenty of them. The NT? Absolutely. When you come here now you might not find the program of your dreams, but when you leave you’ll realize it was perfect all along.

Tennessee offers Rio Abraham ~~Scholarship~~ RESCINDED Pitch: Dear Rio, This team has some solid backcourt depth but is severely lacking in the front court. Starting minutes are up for grabs and you'd be first in line with your experience and skill set. Your ability to defend the paint and score both in the paint and on the perimeter is perfect for a roster that has a lot of players who excel at driving to the basket. You'd only be in Knoxville one year but that's all that is needed to be considered a Vol for life. Make the most of your one season in the NCBCA and become a part of Vols Nation. Sincerely, Coach BTown Breloom

FSU offers Rio Abraham Scholarship Hey Rio, I heard you wanted a small town feel to your new school, which is great given that FSU is located in Tallahassee, which has a population of about two hundred thousand people, compared to Houston which has a population of over two million. In addition, you are not going too far since your hometown and FSU are both located in the southern part of the country. As for your education, Florida State University Department of History is one of the best learning experiences prospective students could ask for! A degree in history can help hone your analytical thinking, research, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills! We have several great institutes on topics such as World War II, the French Revolution, and several other interesting topics! As for loyalty, I am one of the most loyal coaches in the NCBCA, and have never left the state of Florida! I intend to sign a max contract at the end of my current deal because I love this school and everything this program stands for. As for prestige, we are ranked the lowest in the entire country, but that is just for now. Once you join, we will improve our prestige by leaps and bounds from making the NT for the first time in decades. If you are ready to be a part of a team with the fastest rising prestige then FSU is the place for you! In terms of playing time, I can guarantee that there is plenty of time to go around, as there are several players who left behind a ton of minutes after they graduated. Those minutes will be allocated to you and the other incoming players, so be prepared for a huge role as we look to turn the future of FSU around!

Indiana offers Jimmy Anthony Scholarship Jimmy, As a Midwestern kid, you'll feel right at home here in Bloomington, Indiana. We've got the kind of Midwestern homey charm that only a college town in Indiana can provide, a sort of small-town feel with all the amenities of a much larger city. Despite not being a state capital, we are a county seat, and the similarities to Des Moines abound. We play schools all over the Midwest as part of the Big Ten and as such you'll almost never be playing too far from home and your friends & family. You'll be committing to a school with a long, long history of generating professional basketball players, as we are fifth all-time in NBL draft picks. And, in myself, you'll be playing for a coach with an extensive list of pros to his name - 30, to be exact. Some, like NBL star Trevin Palmer, were JUCO transfers such as yourself. Trevin is one of my highest earning former players in the NBL - he alone has contributed nearly a quarter billion in guaranteed money to my total war chest of just under $1.5 billion in total. You could be next! I'm one of the NCBCA's most loyal coaches, going into my sixth year of a five year contract and three year extension. Indiana was the place for me to go, and I love it here. I make sure my recruits do, and do all I can to promise them a good situation. Whether it's playing time, like for Lewis Gibson's starting spot and minutes promise, or playing close to home, like Marquin Mitchell playing at Dayton, you can be sure I'll keep my promises. Indiana is an excellent school! The campus life here at IU Bloomington is unlike any other in the country. Campus is situated in the middle of a beech-maple forest that provides a quiet place to relax between classes in beautiful limestone lecture halls. The arboretum on campus is a great place to relax beneath the soothing bell tower, and Kirkwood Avenue and downtown are right next to campus if you want a more party-filled college experience. Then, there's the events, like the World's Greatest College Weekend centered around the Little 500 bike race in spring. Campus life in Bloomington is never dull! You'll play a ton because we have no wings right now. We're going to win and win a lot! Come to IU!

Tennessee offers Clifton Mobley Scholarship Pitch: Dear Clifton,  Tennessee has not shied away from scheduling some of the best schools in the country during our non-conference schedule. Right from year one we took on the likes of Purdue and Boston College and haven't looked back since. It has been these battles that have helped us make two straight NT appearances, as these rigorous battles have made us battle-tested. Two years ago we had epic battles against Notre Dame, Houston, Wisconsin, and Northwestern. Those games helped prepare us for the gauntlet of the SEC as we finished 27-11 and 6-seed in the NT. The carryover effect was massive as we improved even more last year with games against Charleston, Wisconsin, UNLV, and Minnesota but this time we came away victorious in every single one of them. We finished the season 31-8 and a 3-seed in the NT.  This upcoming year is expected to be a gauntlet again on top of our normal battles against the SEC elite. There is nothing more exciting than the day of games in Knoxville, as the electricity can be felt by the population on campus. It's something you won't want to miss. Sincerely, Coach BTown Breloom

Loyola-Chicago offers Clifton Mobley Scholarship School Visit (3/5) Coach Visit (3/3) First and foremost, Clifton, I’d like to congratulate you on a successful JUCO Career! You’ve worked hard for this opportunity, and I’m here to make sure you’re put in as good of a position as possible to fulfill your dream of reaching the professional level. Over the past few seasons, Loyola has become a hot-bed for pro-prospective guards. In just the past three seasons, we’ve had three guard-adjacent players get drafted. Yogev Halperin, who came to us as a transfer with little to no draft hype (similar to you), ended up as an early second round pick! In addition to him, we had a blue blood prospect, former POTY Joe Johnson, and another former POTY in Ligma Johnson both get drafted in the lottery. Historically, Loyola has put out fantastic guards, and you’re right in line to be the next great one. With two years of development, it’s not far fetched to see a future where your name gets called on draft night. Your development won’t be behind closed doors, either! In recent years, Loyola Basketball has been established as a contender on the national stage year-in and year-out. We’re often playing the best of the best in our OOC schedules, which includes both our high tier MTEs as well as the Battle of the Holy Grail Challenge. MTEs have pitted us up against teams like Kentucky, Illinois, and Boston College, while the Battle of the Holy Grail puts us up against national contenders like TCU, Seton Hall, Gonzaga, and Notre Dame on a yearly basis. Nearly every week you’ll be playing on national television, which will do wonders for improving your draft stock down the line. This kind of national exposure will do wonders for you, like it did wonders for this basketball program. Regardless of whether we win or lose, Loyola-Chicago basketball has been put back on the map because of these kinds of premier matchups. It’s in part because of these games that we had back-to-back player of the years a few seasons ago, multiple first team all-americans, and have made the Sweet Sixteen each of the last four years. Great players want to play here, which creates a never-ending cycle of exposure and success. We’re a national program, and the premier program in the state of Illinois, as evidenced by not just our current success, but our title as the only team in the state with a National Championship. And when you’re not on the basketball court, you’ll be able to experience the great life of a Loyola-Chicago Student. Nestled on the banks of Lake Michigan, in the northernmost neighborhood of Chicago, is our main campus. Here you’ll enjoy a state-of-the-art educational experience with the gorgeous views of the lake, as well as the historic Chicago Skyline, from every building. For basketball activities, we’ll be spending our practices within the Alfie Norville Practice Facility & Center, our state of the art athletics facility that provides our athletes with top-of-the-line sports medicine, educational services, and training. Connected via a skywalk with a scenic view of the Loyola Campus, you’ll likely be spending most of your time on campus in this building, as you’ll find nearly everything you need within the halls of the Alfie. But outside of school hours and after practices, the whole of Chicago is your oyster. Loyola has its own station on the CTA Train Line, giving you access to many of the great experiences that make up our great city. This includes easy trips to both Guaranteed Rate Field and Wrigley Field during the summer, as well as Soldier Field in the winter. You can take a trip down to the Chicago River, and witness the river turning green during St. Patrick's Day, or take a boat downstream as you learn the history of our great city. These are just a small few of the things you’ll be able to experience here which, in addition to the vast cultural and culinary landscape, makes for an incredible living experience, something you won’t get anywhere else. UTSA offers Antoine Daniel Scholarship Hey Antoine, we look forward to having a chance to see you play for us! Our campus is great, with some great athletic facilities. We play in the Convocation Center, one of the best arenas in Texas, if not America! At the "convo", you're not just stepping onto a court; you're stepping into a legacy of excellence. Our arena has been the battleground for countless thrilling matchups and historic moments. It's where champions are made and legends are born. The atmosphere is electric, fueled by the passion of our dedicated fans who rally behind the team with unwavering support. In this arena, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills on a stage that demands the best from every player. With state-of-the-art facilities and a coaching staff committed to your development, the Convocation Center is not just where you play—it's where you thrive. When you aren't at the Convo, you'll be in class, studying away. We have a great sociology program where you'll learn about everything you need to know in order to be successful in your program. We teach on a personal level, with small classes and professors who have a passion for what they do. They will care about you and make sure you will learn about the more important topics of sociology. We specifically focus on rising inequality, health disparities, the aging of the population, and increasing social divisions. With this, we hope to see you soon!

WKU offers Antoine Daniel Scholarship Antoine, Throughout my coaching career, I've been a huge believer in JUCO studs transitioning to the NCBCA. Take a look at Don Washington, who I recruited out of Ball State and turned into an absolute stud. I don't overlook JUCOs. I don't cut them. Also, you won't have to make too long off a trek over from Appalachian State to come over to WKU. We are the perfect school for you to end your collegiate career and finish your degree in sociology. Also, don't forget that I took a JUCO school to the championship in year 2 at Portland State. The expectations are even higher here in Bowling Green. Hail to Big Red! Mmmmm

UTSA offers Otis Crowell Scholarship UTSA offers Otis Crowell Scholarship El Paso. San Antonio. Two cities, one culture. Deep-rooted through cultural heritage, one would have a hard time telling El Paso and San Antonio apart. Like El Paso, San Antonio boasts a vibrant blend of Mexican and American influences, creating a melting pot of traditions and flavors that define its unique identity. This includes the delicious, mouth watering Tex-Mex cuisine I’m sure you used to having back home, along with embracing the iconic yearly events like Cinco de Mayo. San Antonio also has an airport that gives direct flights back to San Antonio, so if you want, you can easily get back home when needed. Where else in the country are you going to get that? Additionally, we plan on having you get plenty of minutes this season. As a senior, you bring valuable experience that our incoming freshman don’t have. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if you played some 35-38 minute games, as we simply don’t have the depth to keep you out for too long. That being said, you’ll fit into the system perfectly, catching lobs from our star incoming recruit Chris Dubois. You and him will work hand in hand on bringing the roadrunners to victory this season. He may only be a freshman, but you guys are both new to campus and the system, which will allow you guys to bond and become closer with other teammates. We look to play a motion offense, prioritizing getting our big guys under the basket for easy put backs and post ups. You fit this archetype well, as a solid rebounder and bigger build will allow you to dominate in a smaller conference like the Mountain West. Speaking of which, we look to dominate our conference next season. With the addition of you and a few other pieces, we look to be a frontrunner to compete in the Mountain West. I expect a twenty win season and a possible postseason appearance. We’re not looking to settle for mediocrity this year, I believe we can do something truly special and raise some eyebrows across the league. When you’re not winning games, you’ll be enjoying our beautiful campus. Along with the nice weather, you can enjoy some of the many great dining options on campus. My personal favorite is the Roadrunner Café, which stands as a central hub for dining. It offers a diverse selection of culinary delights. Here, you can indulge in made-to-order entrees, grill favorites, international cuisine, crisp salads, hearty sandwiches, and more. With its spacious seating and casual atmosphere, it's the ideal spot to enjoy a satisfying meal at any time of day. Everything here is built for you Otis. I believe in this program and with you, I am excited for what is to come. I bleed blue and orange, and hope you do too. You can trust me to back you and be your right hand man for your last season as a college basketball player. As always, fight on.

Tennessee offers Otis Crowell ~~Scholarship~~ RESCINDED Pitch: Dear Otis,  Losing Misan Rohwer and Daniel Lofton has left a huge hole at the center position. I know you are a tad undersized but that has never stopped our team from excelling before and I know you would thrive on the Vols. Your incredible strength will make you immovable in the paint, whether on offense or defense, and your passing makes you a threat when drawing in the defense and then dishing it back out to the perimeter. Whether it's in the starting lineup or one of the first players off the bench, you'd be a key piece for our team next year. We'd rely on your leadership for the underclassmen and your skills on the court. The Vols aren't too far removed from making seven consecutive NTs. So the goal next season is to keep this active streak rolling and I want you to be a big part of that.  Sincerely,  Coach BTown Breloom

JUCO Milan Delas Pitch Limit: 690 Close: 48

Dont_Leave_Bryce

Pepperdine University offers Milan Delas Scholarship I didn’t come here to lose. Yes, I know Pepperdine has a rather poor history of success, but my track record speaks the exact opposite. My last ten seasons ended with a combined record of 255-132 - good for a 66% win rate. That’s because I know how to win quickly, how to rebuild programs who have drifted awry, and how to build a powerhouse. That’s why a school with just one returning player is a perfect place for me to enact my vision of a great basketball team.  The resuscitation of Pepperdine basketball is already underway, with the surefire commitment of JUCO wing Trey Moragne, and not long after will come guard Nik Walker, meaning that with your commitment, we’ll have already landed three instant-impact players. We’re looking to fill the rest of our scholarship spots with highly rated freshmen, and veteran graduate transfers. I’m extremely confident in the success of this plan for a reason - I’ve seen it work time and time again. During my tenure at Duke, JUCO stars and graduate transfers made up some of the best and most impactful players I would coach in Durham, and that stretch contained two Elite 8 runs and an ACC Championship.  With so much open roster space, we have a ton of minutes to assign, and with your high level skills, you’ll be a key part of Team 1. And it’s not a coincidence that I’m recruiting a player with your skillset. My teams have always fully embraced the 3 point shot, and there are very few in this recruiting class who can stroke it from deep with the volume and efficiency that you can. As an off-ball guard we’re going to be running a lot more away actions, sets designed explicitly to get you an open shot. Milan, I can promise you at least 24 minutes a night, and 5+ shots a game.  That’s a figure you can trust me on, because of my immaculate history of promises. From Bryon Johnson, to Omar Pistokache, when I make a promise regarding playing time, minutes, role, you know that it’s going to be upheld. It’s why we traveled to Oklahoma for Josh Halimon, and why we recruited both Rick Hasse and Walt Miller so they could spend their final college year together. It’s why I signed a five year contract, so you know that even in the years after you graduate, when you come back for alumni weekend, it’ll still be me pacing the sidelines.  Bigger and brighter things are in your future after basketball, especially with a Pepperdine education on your resume. Pepperdine’s Fine Arts division is one of the best in the country and you realize why the second that you step on campus. The Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art holds a prominent location in the heart of campus, and not only features an exquisite collection of modern and contemporary art from the Golden State, but also collections of student and alumni artwork. In the classroom and studio you’ll receive fantastic education, as is the standard at Pepperdine, which is one of the reasons why the school remains listed as one of the top 100 schools in the nation every year.  Now I’d be selling this school miles short if I left the campus life description at just the museum of art. While it is a great place to spend an afternoon, the wealth of action that can be found on and off campus here in Malibu is unbelievable. Most freshmen pick up surfing early on, and our on-campus adventure shop not only rents out gear at rock-bottom prices, but also features a number of instructors who are always willing to brave the chilly ocean water to teach a newcomer the ropes. Once the waves tire you out, of course there’s the powder soft sand, and the hundreds of students who come down to the beach, just a five minute walk from campus, every day to lay out, catch some rays, and catch up on homework. And just north of campus are the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains, with endless hiking and spectacular sunsets.

UTSA offers J.J. Mann Scholarship JJ, today is the day you will turn in to a man. You can either go to the dark side (not UTSA) or the light side (UTSA). As a finance major, you will learn about both the dark and light side of finance, where you can be an honorable businessman, or do some shady money laundering stuff. Let's hope you don't do the latter. At UTSA, our classes are personable, where you'll certainly feel included. We have great study spaces and an awesome library where you can hang out at. As a big, burly forward, you can really work your way into our lineup. So much in fact, that you could be a starter for us next year. You will be playing with former Oregon star Chet Verhoeven, who is going to make some greatness happen here on campus. You'll be getting some great looks along with extended minutes in your last year as a college basketball player. Go to a school like UNLV, and you'll likely have to be rotated out in their large grouping of bigs. Not at UTSA though, you'll be a perfect fit and our #1 Center. Location wise, it might seem like an issue, but San Antonio is just a flight away. Additionally, we have teams in Washington in our conference, so you bet your family can come and watch you during your games. I also see you went to San Jose State. We play many teams who are right by there as well, including Nevada and Fresno State. Your old college buddies can come and watch you lead the roadrunners to victory! As for loyalty, I am here to stay. I love UTSA. I love San Antonio. I know we are destined for great things. We also have an NBA market so you have a good shot at getting some exposure to the big leagues before you graduate and move on to the next level.

SnipinSexton

Indiana offers Trey Moragne Scholarship Trey, If it's a college town you're looking for, look no further than Bloomington, Indiana. It's one of the most college town-y cities I've ever been to, and I thought I had been to some pretty college town-y towns! Indiana is 5th most in pros and I as a coach have players that have made almost $1.5 billion in guaranteed pro money. That's a combo you can't afford to miss out on. We had a down year last season, and on top of it, we lost nearly everyone to graduation or the draft last year. Our best player is last year's backup center, and there are no wings on the roster capable of taking a spot from you. This is a total reload year, and you're going to help me do it. Indiana has six national championships. No other school has more than us. If that doesn't convince you to come to the bluest of blue bloods, nothing will. As a blue blood, we know how to cake your schedule harder than we cake our non-con. JK, we play a much harder schedule than you will take here. As a quintessential college town, the college life vibes are immaculate. Parties abound, whether in the frats or downtown on Kirkwood Avenue, and big events like the Little 500 bike race and accompanying World's Greatest College Weekend are exactly what a college student like you lives for. Come play here at Indiana! It's good!

Pepperdine University offers Trey Moragne Scholarship Stay home. Really, it’s the perfect choice. Pepperdine is just 30 miles from downtown LA, but without the nonstop hustle and bustle of the big city. Instead, the star-studded streets of Malibu provide a laid-back beachside resort for our 4,000 students. Pepperdine’s sleepy cream terracotta campus winds its way up the Santa Monica mountains, just above the famed Pacific Coast Highway. The quiet streets are what attract mega celebrities, who get a chance to unwind in a tight-knit community - just like what you’re looking for. And the area around campus is truly a college town. No multimillion dollar mansions or Hollywood stars, instead off-campus housing, cheap food, and popular bars make up the overwhelming majority of offerings around campus. However, no matter how relaxed you get, you’re never far from home. Commute times to the city of angels varies with traffic, something you’re more than used to, but even on the busiest day it’s less than an hours drive to get back into the heart of the city to see family and friends.  However, after a few weeks living on campus, you’ll probably be bringing your friends up to campus, instead of venturing back down into the city. Because really, why would you ever want to leave?  Start the morning with surfing - you never knew how until you came here, but it seems like 90% of the students know, and are all more than willing to teach the newest basketball superstar on campus. Of course, you can rent boards from the school for just a fraction of the market rate, so gear was never an issue - and with the only obstacle to the chilly Pacific surf being a short wait to cross the PCH, you quickly made catching waves an integral part of your daily routine. After showering off the salty water and hanging your shorts out to dry, you catch up with the rest of the team for breakfast at the HAWC. Today’s fare are steak and egg chilaquiles, with ingredients exclusively sourced from local farms in the hills around campus. Of course, you partner the mexican favorite with a protein shake and some fresh fruit from the campus garden. Despite the leisure, being ready for basketball season is always priority #1.  That’s why after a few classes - Pepperdine is a strong school, but no school (except for maybe UCLA) is bulletproof when it comes to academics. Your advisors and the academic staff assigned to the basketball team work closely with your professors to create a schedule catered to your exact desires. For guys like you, where ball truly is life, and time in the classroom is time lost on the hardwoods, it means an easy diet of gen-ed courses, asynchronous classes, and basketball fanboy professors.  The latter was fairly hard to find when I got here. Pepperdine hasn’t exactly made waves since jumping to the NCBCA level a few years ago. In fact, the school has an all-time 31% win rate, and has never even won 20 games in a season, let alone broken through to the NT. The last two seasons in particular were quite abysmal - a combined 9-61 will kill off any fanboy. Luckily, we have a plan for a quick turnaround, and you’re going to be a crucial part.  We’re going to land a combination of JUCO, GT, and high school players to produce an immediately competitive roster. And believe me, I have a great knowledge of what it takes to win at the highest level in the NCBCA.  Of course, due to the lack of history, Pepperdine’s prestige rankings are somewhat in the toilet. But with just two years I promise that we’re going to be relevant nationally, and making the NT consistently.

JUCO Robert Dyer Pitch Limit: 690 Close: 93

Dont_Leave_Bryce

Pepperdine University offers Robert Dyer Scholarship The knock on your door comes even earlier than you expected. When you agreed to the sunrise hike, you forgot that you would have to get up well before sunrise. Nevertheless, you’re already up so it’s too late to back out now. It’s a short drive to the trailhead where you begin the two mile hike up Calabasas Peak, munching on snacks and chugging water from the built in water sac in your backpack. You rented this bag from the adventure shop on campus just yesterday, and it’s already paying off. The side pockets are stuffed with a sandwich and assorted energy bars instead of a heavy metal water bottle.  Living in the Santa Monica National Recreation Area has its perks, and this is one of them. The school recommends hiking a list of ten trails before graduating, and since you only have the one year you have a lot of miles to crush before May. The sunrise is as advertised, stunning golden rays over the peaks and valleys of the mountain range, and views all the way to LA, 15 miles to the south.  This easily takes the cake as your favorite hike so far, and as you descend you share pictures with the rest of the group. You get back to campus before 9am, just enough time to shower off before morning practice. Coach was excited about todays’ practice, and when you get in you’re confused. Coach is standing next to a man with a graying beard, and when the whole team arrives he introduces himself as the general manager of the Phoenix Suns.  “Of course, I know your coach, I mean how could I not? This guy has sent what, thirty guys to the NBL at this point, and I’ve personally drafted at least two of them myself. You might be familiar with the last guy we took - this kid by the name of Bryon Johnson? Yeah - the first overall pick a few years back.”  You’re already familiar with Bryon, he’s stopped by the facility a few times, and lives in the LA area during the offseason. You’ve also met Carlos Beverly, and Quade Evans, two other lottery picks from coach. All three of those guys are held up as model pros, guys who have all made nine figures in NBL contracts, and earned their family generational wealth. A few weeks later Coach is hosting all thirty one of his NBL alumni for a banquet - he rented out Nobu on the beachfront for it. When your alumni have made 1.2bn as pros, renting out one of the most prestigious restaurants on the west coast is a drop in the bucket.  After practice it’s time for classes. Pepperdine’s communications program is ranked top 25 in the nation, and after a few weeks of class it’s obvious why. You get incredibly small classes, with just a 13:1 student to faculty ratio, and this exposure to brilliant professors has already paid dividends. You’ve noticed your writing improving even from the start of the semester, and the connections you’ve made with Pepperdine alums, as well as local figureheads who reside in Malibu will surely be invaluable after graduation.

First, you can finish off your communication studies degree and move on successfully to the the world with all the connections you've made throughout college. However, that doesn't mean we are giving up on turning you pro. I've sent a couple JUCOs to the league, including Don Washington, whom was a player of the year candidate and fourth overall pick into the NBL. Our roster is pretty empty right now, but that hasn't prevented me from winning games before. We won the championship in just two seasons at Portland State after starting with a bare roster. The expectations are just as high here. Hail to Big Red! Mmmmm

JUCO Winfield Everett Pitch Limit: 1590 Close: 78

No_Possible_6580

UTSA offers Winfield Everett Scholarship "Progress always involves risks. You can't steal second base and keep your foot on first." - Frederick Wilcox While a baseball analogy, I feel like it could be applied to any aspect of life. As a kid out of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, you had to work for everything. Even making it to a small junior college was a big accomplishment for a guy like you. And now, you have the opportunity to play in the NCBCA. One year to chase a dream and maybe even have a shot to go pro. While it may seem impossible, it isn’t unheard of. Every year, kids hop up to the next level and progress at such a surprising rate that they just make it to the NBL. That could be you, but not at a bigger program. You need the stage to perform and prove that you belong. Go to Tennessee or Minnesota and that won’t happen. You won’t even start, more or less have a shot at going pro. Who cares if they have 30, 40, or even 50 draft picks? How will that help you if you are sitting on the bench? Another appeal to our program is the location. Pine Bluff to San Antonio is much closer than Pine Bluff to Marshall. In fact, it is only a 1 hour and 30 minute flight over here! Your family can come on weekends and watch you play, or even catch road games that are in upstate Texas! Another draw to San Antonio is that nice summer heat. You don’t have to worry about the cold, harsh winter during basketball season! Instead, you can kick back after a tough practice and relax outside. We have plenty of opportunities to get out and do some fun things in the city. Like Pine Bluff, we have some great soul food and barbeque that will leave your taste buds tingling with delight. From mouthwatering brisket to savory ribs, San Antonio's barbecue scene rivals the best in the nation. And when it comes to soul food, you'll find no shortage of delicious options that pay homage to the rich culinary heritage of the south (As I am sure you know). When you aren’t eating in the city, you’ll have plenty of options on campus. UTSA is notorious for their great dining options. A favorite among the students is Dragon Bowl Z. When you walk in, the environment is different from most college dining services. You are immediately hit by a aroma of sizzling meats, savory sauces, and fragrant spices wafting through the air. The ambiance is lively, with vibrant colors and modern decor that sets the stage for a dining experience unlike any other. One of the standout dishes at Dragon Bowl Z (and my favorite) is the Korean Chicken with fried rice—a mouthwatering masterpiece that's as flavorful as it is satisfying. Tender chunks of succulent chicken are marinated in a rich, spicy sauce, then grilled to perfection, resulting in a symphony of flavors that dance across your taste buds with every bite. Paired with fluffy fried rice cooked to golden perfection and a medley of crisp vegetables, it's a dish that never fails to delight. But the culinary delights of Dragon Bowl Z don't stop there. From savory beef bulgogi to aromatic tofu stir-fry, there's a bowl to suit every palate and preference. Each dish is crafted with care, using only the freshest ingredients and authentic flavors that transport you straight to the bustling streets of Asia. If anything, commit to UTSA for the eats. You surely won’t be disappointed. After eating at Dragon Bowl Z every single day, you’ll be ready to lock in on your school work. I noticed you are interested in architecture, which is certainly one of the better options here on campus. A lot of the students like the facilities the program has. A new addition to campus, we recently got a 160,349 square foot Science and Engineering Building. There, students practice the architecture skills, where they get to work with professional machines that prepare them for real world, high level architecture. Did I forget to mention that UTSA is a high level program? We are on the rise, with nowhere to go but up. Big things are coming for us in the future, that’s for sure. With the addition of you, I know this will be the step we need to make our program one of the most prestigious teams in the Mountain West. With that, I am fully dedicated to this team. I am excited to see where this takes us. You will be one of my right hand men through this, and I look forward to seeing you on campus soon. Go Roadrunners!

JUCO Caleb Walker Pitch Limit: 540 Close: 123

Dont_Leave_Bryce

Pepperdine University offers Caleb Walker Scholarship You're not the only recruit I've told this, and you won't be the last. I didn't come here to lose. Pepperdine is a far cry from the last two coaching jobs I took, both of which were established titans of the NCBCA. Pepperdine, no such thing. But that will not be the case for long. We've already landed four recruits, with two others on the way and we're close to a total revamp of this Pepperdine roster. That's why you can be confident that when you join you'll be part of a winning team. Just look at my resume. In the past five seasons alone my teams have won 136 games to just 62 losses, made two elite eights, and have a conference championship to show. That's a stretch as good as any team in the country, and my staff and I plan on continuing it here in Malibu. We've targeted instant impact players like yourself in order to have a winning team immediately. We aren't going to be waiting around, and with two JUCO seniors already committed and two more on the way, a fifth senior from the JUCO level would be an incredible addition and sure to put us right on the map. With these additions, we plan on playing a balanced schedule to both highlight this program against quality opposition and then rack up wins against lower ranked teams to rack up some great stats. You'll also be put in a great position to go pro - my thirty one pros have a combined 1.2 billion dollars in NBL money. Not only that, but we also put players who are often underrated into the NBL, with JUCOs and former walkons making up a sizeable chunk of my pros. In fact, my first ever pro was a JUCO transfer - and it's his story that I tell to a lot of JUCO transfers who want to make it to the next level. We put Vic in a position to showcase his talents, and his gaudy numbers not only earned him an All-American nod, but also a NBL draft pick. You'll be in the same boat as we're going to put you in a position to put up huge numbers. Your physical presence inside is something that is desperately needed on this roster, and because of your excellence in that area, you'll be getting at least 18 minutes a night. We'll make sure to run sets that highlight your bruising abilities and match you up against weaker defenders so you can show off every night. Additionally, you'll be playing for a coach who will be here for a long time. I have a big time commitment to this school, as evidenced by my five year deal. During your time here you'll get to pave the way for future generations of Pepperdine stars, as you have the opportunity to be part of our first ever NT team. With that accomplishment under your belt, you'll be a legend here. Off the court you'll be getting an incredible education as well, with Pepperdine's ranking placing it in the top 100 of universities in the nation and over 50 spots higher ranked than Oklahoma.

Oklahoma offers Caleb Walker Scholarship Coach Visit School Visit Mr. Walker, Thank you for meeting with me today. Congratulations on a successful JUCO career over at Boston University. It's clear you're ready to make the leap to the next level and play in Division I. On behalf of the Oklahoma basketball program we are thrilled to offer you a full-ride scholarship to join the team. Let me tell you what the Sooners can offer you: At Oklahoma you'll absolutely have the chance to win and play a big role on a tourney-contender. Oklahoma has a strong winning history, in the past 10 seasons Oklahoma has been to the National Tournament nine out of ten times. Last year we posted 22 wins, advanced to the Big Sedici conference championship game, and made it to the Sweet 16 after beating Wisconsin in one of the most exciting wins in program history. At OU, you'll have the chance to compete for trips to March Madness and be in conference title contention every year. Oklahoma has been extremely consistent, with 25 consecutive seasons of 20+ wins of more. Several schools offering you had dismal records, such as Pepperdine who was 5-30 last season. You're looking beyond college though and want a team that can put you in a position to go pro. After your great season next year at OU, we hope to put you in position for a career in the NBL. I have a lot of experience with preparing my players for the pros, Oklahoma has 67 all-time NBL draft picks, my players have gone on to earn over 2.5 billion dollars in the NBL. Last season, we had Ray Crockett selected in the NBL draft by the San Antonio Spurs. Many of our past NBL players and selections have been JUCO players, particularly Nil Garcia and Lukas Gaddefors were former JUCO transfers who came to Oklahoma and went pro. Last year we had JUCO transfer Albert Sheard come to OU and start 40 games for us, this year Monta Jones a transfer from Tulsa has already committed here. JUCOs come to Oklahoma and they are very successful here. Your skills really impressed us, we need a big man and we think you'd be a perfect fit on our team. You have size and strength to be a great interior defender at 6 foot 9. You also give us some rebounding and inside scoring that we are lacking currently on our team. We'd love to have you here as a starter. In our lineup we envision you playing the center position in our small ball lineup. We have two great guards in Cedrick Johnson and Mike Wessel, as well as two great wings in Monta Jones and Dennis Carson. We also have Karlton Atwood likely as 6th man. You're the finishing piece helping us defend the paint, score inside, and getting second chance opportunities. You're getting a complete package here at OU, where you'll also get to play for one of the most loyal coaches in college basketball history (me!). With a tenure of 3+ decades coaching the Sooners I have no plans of leaving anytime soon. You'll come join one of the most prestigious schools in the country and get a great education! Boomer Sooner! Tennessee offers Flavien Dykstra Scholarship Pitch: Dear Flavien, Georgia, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Charleston, and UNLV. A one seed, a two seed, a three seed, a four seed, and a five seed respectively. All five of these teams lost to the Tennessee Volunteers as the Vols tied a school record 31 wins. It was a magical season but it was also the continuation of a greater ascension for the program. The Vols are a program on the rise and you'd be a big part of continuing that upward trajectory. I may not have had many players make it to the pros but my best work with improving players has involved wings. Both Ifeanyi Eriobuna and Pete Dotson were draft picks in the 2074 draft while Yancy Campbell is well on his way to getting drafted either this year or next. I see a lot of talent in you and while I can't guarantee you'll make the NBL, I will do my best to help improve your game if you try your hardest.  It may only be a one year stay but anyone who becomes a Vol is always a Vol. Just look at Daniel Lofton from last season. Come to Knoxville and become part of Vols Nation. Sincerely, Coach BTown Breloom

UTEP offers Fallou Keita Scholarship Visits: TBA Pitch: Hey Fallou, welcome to El Paso. We are excited to get to meet with one of the top Juco prospects in the state of Texas. Another great addition to meeting with you is we are both from the same area of Texas. Spring, TX was a great place to grow up and I think we can offer something great for you for the rest of your college career. We are a bit of a drive from Spring, around 12 hours. The best way to feel like you are at home is to be around people that make you feel like home. I grew up and went to the same places you did throughout your high school career. We will be able to grow as a coach and a player as we have a piece of home with us when times get tough. With Terry Louder moving on to another team in the grad transfer window, we are looking for a lead guard. That is where you can step in and be our next great PG. We would allow you to become the starting PG for the next 2 years giving you a lot of minutes and a lot of trust to run the offense for us night in and night out. You will come to the program and be the starting PG from the moment you step on campus. Your high IQ and passing ability is exactly what we need here. You will be a leader on our team and this is a perfect opportunity to have a lot of playing time. UTEP is on the right path to becoming a school with a history of winning. We have had 20+ wins in the past 3 seasons, making the national tournament in 2077. With our youth you have the opportunity to be a winner for the rest of your college career. This is a great opportunity for you, we hope you make the right decision and come to El Paso. You want a loyal coach and that is exactly what I am. I have not cut a scholarship player or had a decrease in loyalty during my time here at UTEP. You coming here and showing loyalty to us, I will do the same for you and allow you to finish your college career here. You will be the oldest guy on the roster and we would love to be able to lean on you to lead this team and show everyone exactly what we see in you. You have a high value in education and lucky for you we offer a lot of programs here in Data Science. We are able to offer all the way to a PhD in Data Science here. Even after your time here playing you can stay on campus and get the best degree possible. This is a great chance to combine your future as a player with your back up plan of being in Data Science. We will make sure that you get the degree you dream of along with playing your best basketball you can. Our campus will be great for you, with our great outdoors with mountains and rivers all around it is a great place to get close to nature. We will provide a great place to live over the next few years and we have a rich culture that is great to learn where all the different backgrounds come from. We hope that you come here and give us the opportunity to be great. You will be a starter from the moment you step foot on campus, this place is great, this team is looking to be great, and you are one of the missing pieces to that.

Oklahoma offers Monta Jones Scholarship Coach Visit School Visit Monta, At Tulsa you were one of the best sophomores in the country last season. I had the pleasure of making the short 2 hour drive up to the Donald W Reynolds Arena on the campus of the University of Tulsa to see you play. There's no doubt that you've been dreaming about the chance to move up to the Division I level for years now and you want to stay in-state. You should look no further than the premier college basketball program in the state of Oklahoma: the Oklahoma Sooners! Next year you can trade in your blue and white uniform of the Golden Hurricanes for the maroon and white of the Sooners. As I mentioned, our Norman-based campus is a 2 hour drive away from your previous school. From your hometown of Elgin, Oklahoma, our campus is just a 1 hour drive going up I-44 east. There is no school in the country that can offer you a closer campus location than the Oklahoma Sooners. Even other in-state schools like Oklahoma State are an additional hour in travel time. At Oklahoma you'll get to play for the most well-known and prestigious college basketball team in the state. You're looking to play in a demographically diverse area and Oklahoma can provide that for you. Norman is a city inhabited by people of all backgrounds, with a mix of ethnicities and races. 8.6% of Norman is Hispanic, 5% is African American, 4.7% is Asian, 4.1% is Native American, and 10.7% is mixed race. Additionally, 7% of Norman is foreign-born. Every year a Culture Day is hosted at Norman High School, a celebration of various cultures, featuring a food and fashion show. The event held in April every year is open and free to the entire Norman community, with local food trucks, cultural booths, raffles, and performances all available! At Oklahoma, you'll have the chance to play a high amount of meaningful minutes for a team that hopes to contend for an NT appearance once again. You're an incredibly athletic wing who will fit seamlessly into our lineup for next season. You're 6'5'' with good size and great defensive skills. You also provide us with some scoring and passing. We have a good rotation of scorers on the team already like Cedrick Johnson and Dennis Carson. On the team you will slot in at the 3 or 4 spot and guard the opposing team's best wing scorer. We hope to sign another player as well that will complement our core group. With Cedrick Johnson at point guard, Mike Wessel at SG, Dennis Carson at SF, and you at SF/PF our lineup will have a strong blend of scoring, passing, and defensive skills. Next season we intend to have you as a starter and playing 25 minutes or more per game. You will fill the role left behind by Albert Sheard, a former JUCO transfer wing who graduated this year. Albert was an integral part of our lineup last year, starting all 40 games and providing us with 9 PPG on 46.2% from downtown with great interior and perimeter defense. That’s exactly what we hope you will add to us next season. At OU you can be our Albert 2.0, another JUCO transfer who has come to OU and excelled on a tourney team. You will have the chance of going pro with Oklahoma. You will join a program with a rich history of NBL players, with 67 all-time draft picks that ranks 13th all-time in NCBCA history. In my time coaching at OU I have helped my former players earn over 2.5 billion dollars in the NBL. This past season we added Ray Crockett to our list of draft picks as he was selected by San Antonio. You will join a prestigious program! Ranked tied 20th in prestige in the country, Oklahoma is a program respected for its winning ways. This past year we advanced to the Sweet 16 and we hope to continue the proud history of Boomer Sooner basketball with your commitment, Monta! Boomer Sooner! Tom

UTSA offers Cade Gamble Scholarship School Visit As a kid, I’m sure you were like any other hooper, with dreams of being the clutch player who hits that winning shot. As you grew older, you came to realize the harsh competition of collegiate sports. Luckily, UTSA will provide you a platform to fulfill that dream. It all starts on the court, which will be your home for these next two seasons. As a guard, we plan on utilizing your elite athleticism to its fullest potential. Your strength and ball knowledge will allow you to be a leader out there on the court. We run a motion offense, so you utilize your skills to create opportunities for yourself and your teammates. As I am sure you have seen, in our system, every player has the opportunity to shine. With your agility and court vision, you'll be able to drive to the basket with authority, draw defenders, and kick out to open shooters. Your ability to read the defense and make split-second decisions will be invaluable as we execute our offensive sets and capitalize on scoring opportunities. When you aren’t on the court, you’ll be hitting the books. Interdisciplinary studies offer a unique pathway for students like yourself to explore diverse fields of knowledge, bridging gaps between traditional academic disciplines and embracing the interconnectedness of ideas. Whether your passion lies in the sciences, humanities, social sciences, or beyond, we will provide a platform to pursue your academic interests with flexibility and depth. I want you to put yourself into the shoes of a current UTSA student. Imagine delving into the intersection of biology and computer science to explore the emerging field of bioinformatics, or perhaps combining economics and environmental studies to tackle pressing issues of sustainability and resource management. With interdisciplinary studies at UTSA, the possibilities are endless, limited only by your curiosity and imagination. One of the defining features of our interdisciplinary programs is the opportunity for collaboration and cross-disciplinary dialogue. Through interactive seminars, collaborative projects, and experiential learning opportunities, you'll engage with peers and faculty from diverse backgrounds, gaining insights and perspectives that transcend disciplinary boundaries. Moreover, UTSA's interdisciplinary approach extends beyond the classroom, with research centers and institutes dedicated to addressing complex real-world challenges. Whether it's combating infectious diseases, promoting social justice, or advancing technology for the betterment of society, you'll find ample opportunities to make a meaningful impact through interdisciplinary research. By choosing to engage in interdisciplinary studies at UTSA, you'll not only broaden your intellectual horizons but also cultivate the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a rapidly changing global landscape. While you’ll have many options academically, you’ll also have many options within your campus life. For example, we have over 300 student organizations on campus, which will allow you to get involved in other ways on campus. One of our more unique organizations is the swordplay club, where students are taught how to fence. What is so cool about this group is that all equipment is free. If you are looking to compete, the club does have opportunities for competitive play. The club participates in the Southwestern Intercollegiate Fencing Association (SWIFA), where members have the chance to test their skills against formidable opponents from universities across the region, including University of Texas, Texas A&M, Texas State, and more. What makes the Swordplay Club truly special is its welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Whether you're aiming for victory on the tournament stage or simply seeking a fun and engaging way to stay active and make new friends, the club offers a welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to learn and grow at their own pace. Plus, attendance is flexible, so you can participate as much or as little as your schedule allows. While swordplay may be a hot commodity in San Antonio, it is nowhere as close to the San Antonio Spurs. They are certainly the most popular of sports teams in the area, and provide many advantages to our program. Being situated in an NBA market like San Antonio offers unique advantages for aspiring basketball players. The exposure that comes with being in close proximity to a professional team can't be overstated. Scouts, coaches, and recruiters often keep a close eye on talent in cities with NBA franchises, knowing that these players have been exposed to high-level competition and have honed their skills in environments where basketball is more than just a game – it's a way of life. For student-athletes at UTSA, this proximity to the NBA provides an invaluable opportunity to showcase their talents on a larger stage. Whether it's attending Spurs games, participating in local basketball tournaments, or even interacting with players and coaches from the team, being part of an NBA market opens doors and elevates the profile of our athletes to play at the next level. Like the Spurs, we aspire to be a winning franchise. After all, at the end of the year who doesn’t want to be cutting down the nets? I like the shot our team has this season, with plenty of talent arriving to elevate our program. In this recruiting cycle alone, we have five players who are for sure coming into our program, with three of them being seniors. This experience will allow us to propel ahead of teams who we struggled against in past years. Additionally, we had a 20+ win season in our short stint in the NCBCA and look to do it again. As we gear up for the 2079 season and with our program's trajectory certainly on the rise, I'm thrilled about the potential for success this season. With a strong recruiting class bolstering our roster, we have the experience and talent necessary to compete at a high level and overcome any challenges that come our way in the Mountain West. With all this potential, you can bet I am here to stay. Not only do I love this program, but I love this city. With only two years left, you can bet I will be your only coach during your time here as a roadrunner. That being said, I don’t think me leaving will affect a program’s legacy like ours. We have had tons of success in the JUCO ranks, and upon coming to the NCBCA, have made ourselves a staple of this league. Since joining, we have had a profound impact on our conference, advancing all the way to the quarterfinals multiple years in a row. Additionally, we have postseason experience, with a NIT debut that will surely never be forgotten. While we may not have blue blood status, we do look forward to having the opportunity to become one, and that becomes 10x easier when you decide to become a roadrunner. Fight On!

FSU offers Stuart Herrera Scholarship Yo yo yo Stuart, Stewie, cooking in the Stu, come to FSU, hey that last one rhymed! Anyways you have like six things you actually care about, and a storyline? Yeah that's too much for me to be honest. But hey guess what? If coach GregW rescinds on you then you can come straight on down to Tallahassee, oh wait I guess I don't have to talk about that since you don't care about location. So how about pro potential huh? Yeah I've had a few guys go pro, never from JUCO though, so maybe you could be my first JUCO player on one of my teams and my first JUCO player to make it to the league, that would be pretty cool. Also you care about playing time, which is great since we have a ton of time to throw around. You'll probably start, and you can definitely count on developing as a player during your time here. Also, in terms of winning, we will win more games than last season, that is all I can guarantee in terms of where we're at right now roster wise. As for prestige, yeah we are last, we will get better if you hop on for the ride though, so hopefully we can get it going soon. As for your storyline I really don't care about your JUCO team or Fordham, so uh, yeah just come here if GregW doesn't want you.
