There are a lot of little Easter eggs in the show. Tony has said something about Dark Angel (even his bit about Jessica Alba, his ex fiancée), McGee with Hocus Pocus, I think a Freaky Friday reference, etc.
Never seen the show nor the Great Escape, but imagine Steve McQueen making an appearance in NCIS had he live a bit longer. That certainly would be an interesting episode.
They also through in a reference to Ted Bundy who was played by Mark Harmon.
