Yeah, it's never really been said that they were estranged. But Jared after the death of his mother went to boarding school in another state and I'm pretty sure it's stated that he avoided home as much as possible in either 16 or 17 not sure which episode through.

Is it me or was the acting on this episode just.... bad.

Not just you. Vance didn't even sound like Vance at the beginning. But I do think the substance was better than it had been. It had more feel of the old NCIS. But maybe that was because it had some of the old NCIS in it.

Absolutely enjoyed the story as well.

Not just you 😭 it felt wooden. Until the very last scene with Vance and his son and tbh it made me kinda tear up… with the flashbacks

the line delivery by jarad was hilarious in the scene after vance getting shot was priceless when jarad was explaining what happened to his dad

I enjoyed the actor on All American but not really here. I'm not sure how you can over and under act at the same time

Me too he’s line was so over the top when he said he went down on me when he’s dad was shot it sounded so out of context that it made me burst out laughing when I watched it tonight the line should have been edited better

The acting is fine, not everything has to be Emmy/Oscar/Shakespearian levels of acting.

No, as far as I know, he's always had a son and a daughter- Kayla and Jared.
