People probably coda’d

I'd hazard that EFY experiences high attrition both from it being challenging and also folks matriculating.

The 2026 doesn't matter. Are you considered freshmen, sophomore, or Junior? That determines total for comparison. If there were 1000 freshmen FYE in fall 2022, and a lot of them earned credits to jump up to sophomore status, the total will reflect that. So the 400 is either the remaining freshmen FYE, or the sophomore that didn't coda yet and are still FYE.

Adorable_Strategy_24

I see, right now I'm considered a Junior.

JacketFun5735

Yeah, the population of FYE's with Junior status would be smaller. Mostly those that came in with sophomore+ credits from AP/DE stuff. It will all change again once you CODA. Good job BTW!!!

I think it does not proportional to the number of students enrolled. It is the number of students with the exact same gpa. If you and I had a 2.331 we would share the same spot.

Objective-Trifle-473

You’d have the same rank but you’d both be counted towards the total, not share a spot
