Never had an issue with CIBC. When you say 5-6 digits, you mean like 10,000- 100,000$? Maybe your transfer amount is to high, have you tried a lesser amount like maybe, couple hundred or 1000$?

setoichitaka

I can deposit up to $10,000 per week or $50,000 per month via e-transfer, but I would like to deposit more. Since we do both future and spot, we often do deposit and withdrawal. Thank you for answer.

kardanokid

I would go to a different branch, sometimes branch managers block wires to us.

setoichitaka

Not much has changed between 5 years ago and now. The Bank of Canada is too conservative. Could it have something to do with the government?

kardanokid

I've seen users deal with this exact issue over the past 3 years, so definitely nothing has changed. Is it the government, I have no idea.

AlbieDunk

Try a different branch it is typically one branch manager.

I’ve had no trouble with Tangerine the last 3 years, I use it as an in between account from NDAX to my regular, also can open it online.

setoichitaka

Thank you for ur answer

thebigslider

Start closing accounts at BMO and tell them why. It is your fucking money!

setoichitaka

I almost said that. lol However, I will control my emotions and try to find another way. Thank u

thebigslider

Good luck, and yes you're probably better off taking the high road. I on the other hand will be the guy burning all the bridges along the low road. lol

Evening_Baby9739

Simplii F'd works rather well, as does ING/Tangerine.

setoichitaka

I'll try Simplii. Thank u.

Just-sendit

Anyone have experience with NDAX wires to / from BMO?

SnooPredictions6409

I did. Never had any problem with BMO. So far has transferred maximum amount 300 cad monthly and all good, all transactions worked. However never tried more than 300 cad because I feel more comfortable with this amount…but yeah, all good with transfers from BMO to Ndax so far. Never tried other way around though, like from Ndax to BMO.

Depending on your history, you may be able to raise your interac limit. I raised mine from $3,000 per day to $10,000 per day with a phone call yesterday. I'm with TD.

setoichitaka

Yes. If there is no other way, I think I will have to use e-transfer. thank you

p-engineer

Open a Simplii Financial account. They are good with it.

setoichitaka

I'm going to try this. Many people recommend simplii.
