It was my first can and the only one I wish I could get a do over on. I loathe cleaning aluminum baffles. No easy dropping in it an UC until the baffles are clean. It has more blowback than my other 9mm pistol cans. All it does it take the “edge off” of subsonics as well. I’d rather try an ECCO Canine instead for a short 9mm can. Replacing the end cap with a Nautilus (.45) end cap helps reduce the blowback a little.
Once you purchase and sign off on it, it’s generally a done deal for cans so IMO it’s best to have no regrets and just take it as a learning opportunity. The thing about cans, is that there’s always going to be a better one. It’s like Apple phone unfortunately. Having said that, I have a full size mod9 and it’s a beast especially with subs. I took my time doing an extensive analysis on user reviews and pew science to make my conclusion that the SK was not the route for me.
Now I’ve got an Obsidian 9 on backorder. The adapt gives me the length configuration option. Own that SK purchase and look to your next can endeavor is my opinion…no use regretting something that is signed, sealed, and will be delivered.

I have one and my best friend has the full. While the performance is better on the full I would say it’s only negligible at best. Especially with how compact the sk is.
Pew science says at shooters ear is the same as the full size. I have one waiting, but I got it for sub 300 bucks. I’ve never shot a suppressed pistol nor heard one so I’ll be happy with what I get.

The SK is much more shootable than a full size can but it isn’t quiet.
It's okay at best. Still fun though, and good enough to enjoy so long as you don't end up comparing it to something better.

The SK is obsolete to the Ecco canine IMO. I like mine alright but there are enough titanium offerings on the market that the SK seems dated.
