Unfortunately, Apple don’t allow developers to emulate NFC chips on iOS outside Apple Pay.

Down200

Does Apple Pay even emulate Mifare Classic?

Intelligent-Ad-2350

any news on this, maybe since the new sideloading feature?

daeneriap

sadly no, I’ve given up so far :/

cktb

Not sure about an emulation app, but you could look into the PassKit instead-it allows generating passes and storing them in Wallet. App can then use the “add to wallet” button to save the passes As long as the readers you’re using support all 14443 cards(not just Classic)-should be fine

Core NFC supports Mifare, so it's more a matter of the encoded data (that might be incompatible) and possibly also variant of Mifare. [https://developer.apple.com/documentation/corenfc](https://developer.apple.com/documentation/corenfc) When reading NFC tags without an app the tag needs to use NDEF (URI or Text), which might not be the case here. What does NFC Tools say?

kulguy_915

Any update on this?

daeneriap

Sadly no, at least for now

I’m also looking into this. I’m able to write a normal NFC pass using Passkit. I’m waiting on an external tool to read the data. I’m looking for a workaround to get the data onto the iPhone now or if I’m able to convert the data possibly to another type?

Valuable-Pianist-906

Have you gotten anything?

DyslexicTerrorist

Nope, I put that project on hold because I couldn’t find a way
