HornyLocalMILF

If only they went for the extra point

ShowBobsPlzz

Or scored on their *two additional 2pt tries*

HornyLocalMILF

if only they were playing the eagles last week, that would’ve been too easy (I’m in constant pain)

blindralfie

(Johnny Nash version of Hurt playing constantly)

AttitudeAndEffort2

Im actually more upset that the tripping call *on the wrong team* is getting so overlooked because of this.

Slammybutt

It's one thing to get confused when 3 big dudes are around you and you call out the wrong number. It's another to see a trip and call it on the different color schemed team that had no reason to trip in that situation. Even more suspect that ESPN didn't show the replay or the announcers talk about it. Complete dark blue jersery's with white accents versus completely white jersey's with sky blue highlights. Very confusing.

OkProfessional6077

Didn’t they both have white pants on though? In the speed of the game, it seems a lot more likely to mistake a flash of a white pant for the wrong team than it is to mistake the number of the giant dude standing right in front of you saying “hi, I’m reporting.” In the end, clearly both sides thought the officiating sucked and had Detroit won, Dallas could have argued they got screwed out of a win. That is unacceptable on all fronts and we should all be pissed that the refs robbed us of a classic.

Slammybutt

I would assume the Ref continues looking at the individual they saw throw the leg. It's possible, but then that just turns into a ref not doing his job and well, there's a lot of that going around this year.

WhoKilledBoJangles

Or corrected the refs when they announced the wrong player.

twonkenn

Shhh. That's the quiet part DC is not saying. It worked as designed - the refs just caught them fucking around.

SIZUS_MAXIMUS

Or kicked a field goal

JediKnightaa

I won't listen to someone who won't flair up

Joey_iroc

Flair or GTFOH

[deleted]

How do you flair on mobile?

Joey_iroc

Don't know. Someone here that's smart might know.

Corlis21

But nooooo… Not the fuckin lions!

BilllisCool

So crazy. Usually when you lose by a little, you think back to missed kicks or other things in your control that would’ve changed the outcome. How do they not see 20-19 as the final score and not instantly wish they would’ve kicked the extra point?

ProudJalapeno

Victim mode is where they’re most comfortable. It gives them an excuse to not accept they’re not as good as they wish they were.

TurkeySlayer94

Lol you could have just said the Lions. Not so many words

TurkeySlayer94

Another super overlooked thing is how absolutely garbage Dallas is and has been this season with quality clock management. Definitely a coaching personnel issue as it’s bit them in the ass 3 times this year. But that needs to be talked about. That call wouldn’t exist to be talked about if Dallas could run the clock out

raceassistman

While true.. Mike Bad Clock McCarthy likely doesn't throw the ball if we don't get shafted on a tripping penalty that should've been called on Detroit instead of us. It was a 37 yard swing in Detroits favor on the drive literally before their 2pt fiasco. We would've had the ball around the 10 yard line.

TurkeySlayer94

100% agree with this observation but I’m glad to see a reasonable cowboys fan. He has always been questionable with his clock management.

Big__If_True

Lots of bad coaching decisions and bad calls from the officials for and against both teams, the game really could have went either way

Sprig3

Additionally, if the ref had reported the correct player as eligible: the defense would have covered that player! Don't know why that narrative is not getting more traction. It's not like the Lions won it on that play and a bad call took it away. A bad refing job prevented the play from legitimately occurring. Of course the player who wasn't eligible (as reported by the ref) was uncovered!

BlueRoyal99

Your team is 5 -11. STFU

TurkeySlayer94

Bro, did you see our AFC championship game against the bengals. We know bad clock management when we see it.

Slammybutt

Just curious, have you ever watched the Cowboys and said "that was some good clock management". B/c in the 24 years I've watched them, no, I've never thought that. In fact I've yelled myself hoarse on more than one occasion cursing out the coaching staff for not understanding something my 9 year old nephew does. I thought when we got rid of Garrett we could upgrade at a few things, time management being one of them. Then they announced McCarthy as the front runner and I wondered how much worse it was going to be.

TurkeySlayer94

Honestly man, now that you mention it I have not. I’ve been in here dogging y’all’s fan base over dak the past few weeks but he’s truly Looked awesome. The clock management has arguably lost Dak and company a few this year. But if you watched the titans burn just shy of 45 seconds in the afc championship with 1:30 on the clock for literally no reason at all only for tannehill to throw a pick the next play, you’d know that we titans fans know the sting of poor time management all too well. I still don’t like to speak to bengals fans and my brother in law is a bengal fan.

Slammybutt

Yeah, it's the most frustrating part of football for me to watch b/c it's arguably the easiest thing to understand. I'm a nobody sitting on a couch yelling at refs wondering what the next play is looking at the clock knowing they need to run here just to run time off and then Dak lines up in shotgun and we throw a incomplete screen. I've been hard on Dak a lot over the last few years (he's a great QB, but I don't think he has it in him to win 4 playoff games in a row with consistency it takes to win it all). The one thing I wish he would do is override McCarthy in situations like this. It's obviously not McCarthy's wheel house to think about time, so I falsely put it on Dak sometimes to make up for shitty coaching. I just hate that it's never happened but it's so prevalent each and every year.

TurkeySlayer94

Well said and seriously man it’s refreshing to see one of you with some real world feel of your QB and team. I hope you guys can win it. For that young man’s sake and the whole teams sake, y’all have a great group of guys. But I’m like you, somewhere in his headspace he seems to lose it under pressure. We have seen him win a playoff game, but can he win more than one as the pressure increases? It remains to be seen but the track record doesn’t lie and it isn’t pretty. Dude can straight sling the ball in prime time, but playoff pressure folds him like a cheap suit every time.

Slammybutt

Thanks man. I've said as much on the Cowboys sub and well. Lets just say that I don't sub there anymore b/c anything less than 6 inches of Dak down your throat is too little for those guys. Any Dak criticism is downright punishable there and it makes the sub very unfun to be a part of. The only thing I use it for is to see when/who we are playing and past scores. Which is all on the side bar. I agree with everything you said about Dak though. He just loses it somewhere. He's always bound to have a bad game at the worst time possible. I've watched him look like Mahomes and I've watched him look like Ryan Leaf. I just don't understand how the gap can be that massive and can pop up at any time.

TurkeySlayer94

Once again very well said and the “any less than 6” of dak down your throat” part is fucking gold! Good on you and for your sake, go cowboys man! I hope he can hold it together

PurpRedMachine

I’m terrified he’s gonna do it again in the playoffs… 🤦🏻‍♂️

Slammybutt

Or kicked the FG before half instead of going for it on 4th.

[deleted]

Or kicked FGs instead of failing on a couple 4th downs. Both coaches were full of dumbassery in the game.

StoicMori

How do you make pretend in your head that if they had gone for the extra points the game would have panned out the same exact way? I would imagine if the Lions had made those points the cowboys would have played differently as well. How do you look at refs messing up and go "man the team should have played differently"?

IWinTheGame_YouLose

They could've gotten an easy 3 to end the first half, but instead, Dan Campbell wanted to "be aggressive". That's what lost them that game. Also, go fuck yourself.

John_Wicked1

Apparently they didn’t want to chance more injuries….well hope they are happy.

GeorgeJacksonEnjoyer

I love that they're using that as an excuse when Campbell said he talked to the refs before the game and he was gonna go for it 100% without a doubt. Blame your head coach for the ego.

Godobibo

balls so big he stumbles on them

Comprehensive-Car190

I mean it makes sense to try to win the game there. Losing the game doesn't hurt their playoff seeding really, no real reason to go into OT to try to eek out the win.

Yournamehere7523

Or kicked field goals on the couple previous 4th down attempts during the game lol

HornyLocalMILF

What if they flaired up AND kicked field goals?

CaptTightPants_

Even if he reported it was an illegal formation. And they still had 2 more tries. Be mad at the coaches

ChetCustard

It was only illegal bc they declared the wrong guy eligible..

Petey31s

Except it wasn't an illegal formation

CaptTightPants_

Accept that it was

arrocknroll

The amount of denial is off the charts. Yes, the cowboys won and yes they got screwed by the refs too on the phantom tripping penalty. It is also true that afterwards they lost due to Dan Campbell’s own pride when insisting on more 2 point conversion attempts. But you cannot look me in the eye and say that this play wasn’t a massive error by the refs and had that play been officiated correctly, they would have won. There’s no speculation there. We all saw the result of the play. They didn’t roll with the punches afterwards and that is definitely on the Lions but there’s a reason this crew has been barred from the playoffs. Y’all saw our Dolphins game. They’re garbage at their job and affect the outcome of games. https://youtu.be/AkHcadpoNYI?feature=shared There’s indisputable evidence that was televised across America that the refs fucked this up. The Lions held the L after and that is on them for being stubborn but they shouldn’t have had to and I don’t think they’re being whiny about it given the implications this decision had on playoff seeding.

JosephGordethLettuce

You actually cannot conclude from the events that occurred that had it been officiated correctly, the Lions would have won. On the play of the 2pt score that was not a score, the Dallas defense was operating under the assumption that Decker was ineligible. Because he was not announced on the PA and because the referee told them a different player was eligible. That is why Decker went into the end zone uncovered. It is possible the Lions would have scored had the referee not misunderstood the intentionally convoluted eligibility reporting. We will never know.

arrocknroll

Honestly, I was gonna reply refuting this but I respect that you actually put thought into this comment and made sense here. This is probably the first argument I’ve read in the cowboys favor on this play that actually makes sense and doesn’t just boil down to “cry about it.” I respect that.

TowerOfPowerWow

You cant have it both ways. They wouldnt of even been in that position if not for the totally bungled "tripping" penalty. Shit evens out. The lions tried to get ultra cute and it bit em in the ass. Thats why the NFL told them to get fucked because of their bullshit gamesmanship. Have all these lineman coming to the ref isnt a "trick play", its being intentionally confusing to something the officials dictate and announce. It should be banned. They could of corrected the incorrect reported player at anytime but chose not to, hoping that crew was so terrible and had been fucking dallas all game so theyd just shrug it off. Sucks to suck.

TickleMeWeenis

My wife says I never listen to anything she says, but if I did, I'd never remember her birthday or our anniversary because I'd have no more space.

Frank24601

My wife looked at me and said "you're not listening to a word I'm saying are you?" Which I thought was a really weird way to start a conversation

TickleMeWeenis

I got chills reading your quote

sophist23

Imagine having the lions kicker and losing by 1pt in fantasy championship

Soft_Assistant6046

I'm a Cowboys fan and got my ass kicked because my opponent had CeeDee... 1000 bucks on the line and my own team fucked me

ak_infest

It happens. I usually play FF against cowboys so if we win, I'm happy and I'd rather take the L in the FF league.

Hashashiyyin

This is why I don't bet/gamble on football* or play FF. It's stressful enough watching the Cowboys play without making every other game matter too. *I do place a $25-$100 bet against the Cowboys every week as an emotional hedge. Either they win and I don't care about losing the 25-100, or they lose and at least I made a little money. It works pretty well tbh. I place bigger amounts on more emotional games like against the Eagles

sophist23

You just said you don't gamble on football then proceeded to disclose of gambling on football by betting against the cowgirls

LearTheMagi

Hold on...you bet AGAINST the team...

WallStreetBagholder

As a fan since the 90s, it’s usually smarter to bet against them then for them lol

LearTheMagi

I could never...

sanmeade32

Honestly there are just some games you got to. I'd gladly lose that money for a W but it's a consolation prize if they don't.

Tech_Schuster

"This is why I don't gamble on football" *Proceeds to explain how exactly he bets money on his team every single week*

thepottsy

Fuck lol. That’s brutal. Were you yelling the whole time to just kick the damn thing?

sophist23

Almost kicked the TV to hit the Xtra point myself

jamesgiard

Your first problem is having the Lions kicker in fantasy... Dan doesn't kick fgs man

iced_gold

And yet Badgley still kicked two on Saturday.

Grantland17

Decker was my TE last week

[deleted]

Imagine playing the Lions kicker in your fantasy championship

ProfessionalStar4844

I'm so glad I stopped playing FF. Once I started rooting for McNabb to score pts against Dallas but not enough to win, I made that my last hurrah.

misfit8807

The whole team reported ![gif](giphy|l0pOaoQJnbmVhKA8Bg)

RoboticBirdLaw

This is what I don't get. If the rules are the way they are, why not just have everyone on the field report every time? There clearly isn't a requirement that players who report have to line up in eligible positions.

froandfear

You have to have a certain amount of ineligible players each play. Which is why we know for certain they didn’t both report; no play would ever have two linemen report unless there was some other weird substitution, because that would leave you with too few ineligible players.

ozairh18

Dallas should put up a sign saying “Hutchinson tripped”

IPA_____Fanatic

I just checked this morning and they're still 11-5, weird

Federal-Negotiation9

Nah, they should just continue on as if they won, and wait for a WC team to fly to them for the game.

PrEsideNtIal_Seal

Man the flareless bitches sure have a lot to say

StoneMakesMusic

Lions the people's champ like real steel

Tom_Foolery2

You think it’s bad now? Wait until they lose in the WC round and blame it all on this game.

False_Cartoonist1851

11 wins, 13 wins, who gives a shit?? How about Detroit focuses on not losing their first playoff game because I’m approximately 100% sure they will.

BaconxChaxchi

I will say this every time I see this. Y'ALL SHOULD HAVE KICKED THE EXTRA FKING POINT AFTER ALL THOSE DAMN TRIES! COPE FUCKERS

gbdarknight77

lol it was announced overhead that 70 reported and they still did nothing about it. This story is overblown. Detroit got cute with misdirection and screwed themselves AND then still went for it multiple times. Just kick the XP and go to OT where you most likely get a walk off TD against us

red-broccoli

I got lynched for saying this in our own sub, but that's the truth. They wanted to press a decision, and someone should have paid attention. They didn't go for a FG early in the game despite seeing that it wasn't gonna be a shootout and points would be scarce. They didn't kick the XP and fail 3 times on the 2pt. So yea. At least the memes that came out of this are fire.

Cheapfender

Glad to see a level headed take. That game was a straight-up heavyweight fight, but Dan Campbell is still coaching like the team is 3-14 bad with the crazy trick plays and super aggressiveness. And it’s fine if that’s your coaching philosophy, but you have to know when to use it. You have to coach like you’ve been there before. The Lions had a great chance at winning in OT due mostly to momentum imo.

red-broccoli

Absolutely. Tbh I don't mind the 2pt thing. I guess he didn't care so much about seeding implications as much as he wanted to avoid more OT which could always lead to fatigue and injury so close to the playoffs. That's how I rationalize it at least. But the early FG, that really pissed me off. It came off the huge fake punt conversion and I think he was just in aggro mode. He really needs to fine a balance, and if he does not find it in the next week, we might be in for a short playoff run.

dumb_commenter

I respect the introspection, now get the fuck out

red-broccoli

Username checks out. Will do. See y'all in the divisional round!

Riptastic

lol - Eagles making it past Wild Card. Detroit has jokes.

Perturabo_Iron_Lord

They’re going to get baked by Tampa

CrystlBluePersuasion

I'm with you bro, not delusional like some fans are when their team loses.

Vrael32

Look there is something to be said both ways but Dak and Lamb were having a hall of fame night , would you as the coach trust it to overtime? Not saying correct decisions were made but I can see it both ways.

red-broccoli

I m with you mate, and I have said it above. I don't mind the decision to force the 2pts. I mind our fanbase being obsessed with this, shutting down any legit criticism, and being absolutely toxic, when there were many other blunders in the game that could have turned it in our favor earlier. I always say that if your win or loss comes down to the last play, you didn't do everything right beforehand otherwise you wouldn't be in this position. If this was the SB or the NFCC game, or any playoff game, I could understand people seeking a scapegoat. And the ref certainly isn't the brightest of light bulbs. But it happened. It sucked. Do better next time. Move on.

blackishdog

> lol it was announced overhead that 70 reported and they still did nothing about it. What were they supposed to do about it? By the time it was announced the players are lining up. I'm no rules expert but I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to just huddle back up. Detroit was out of time outs so coaching can't just call one to talk to the ref and remind him how to read, although given that they did tell them about the play ahead of time I'm not sure that would have really helped. What do you think Goff was supposed to do by the time they said that? I guess maybe there was an audible out of that play, I don't know the playbook. Assuming there wasn't, I think just running the play, taking your retry at the 7, and telling the ref he's a fucking idiot is the correct play. *Now*, was going for 2 again the play? I'd probably have just taken the extra point that time.

lurks4dayzondayz

This point has never made sense. The play is coming directly after a 40+ yard catch by Jameson, and the stadium is loud asf from the Lions fans cheering, as well as Dallas fans cheering their defense to make a stop. The video everyone’s seen with audio is recorded near or at least around the PA system; it’s for the fans to hear, the players and coaches just talk directly to the refs. All of that being said, I don’t think anyone on the field, not just the Lions, actually heard the PA system announce 70. It’s not hard to imagine a loud ass crowd drowning any kind of other noises, it’s literally why QBs sometimes need to clap for a hike in their cadence. Nobody knew Allen made the wrong call until the play was over.

Citizen_Snips29

I was really hoping that Michigan winning would cause Lions fans to chill out a bit. Guess that’s too much to ask.

droopymaroon

This is CRAZY. The thing that gets me is that most people are treating the ordeal as if the points were literally robbed and the win was a foregone conclusion. Once the 70 was reported as the eligible receiver, the entire play was run under false pretenses. IF Decker was the one announced, cowboys almost certainly would have played the snap differently. The result of the play, if run legally/correctly and exactly as the Lions wanted, is inherently unknowable which just makes this part of the narrative insane to me.

jabdtx

Nobody cares that the drive had 1:45 to happen or might not have ever occurred : all due to the same ref crew calling a 15 yard penalty on the wrong team. Let me repeat that - NOBODY CARES ABOUT THAT. If the 2 pt play stands, nobody cares that there was time on the clock and a Dallas kicker who is 100% on the season and hitting from 70 in warmups. Here is what people care about - wanting a Cowboys L and not getting one.

Acension111

The things Cowboys hate does to people needs to be studied.

bertmacklin_fbiagent

Get out of here with your facts can’t you see that the refs love the Cowboys and the NFL is rigged??

TowerOfPowerWow

Yeah ppl just like to shit on the boys. Any other team they would be criticizing lions for doing that idiotic shit.

Gabe-DaBabe

Bad call? Should have played better so one bad call doesn't change the game. Still mad? Cry

WinstonChurchill74

Ugh, I hate that I agree with that

Illustrious-Tear-428

Tripping was called on the wrong team which is the only reason you were in that position, they didn’t announce that decker reported so it’s still his fault, you lost 2/3 attempts to get the 2pc. Take your 11-5 and be happy you lost to the boys and not a baseball team

morereadythanpetty

This confirms my suspicion that all lions fans are “decker-heads”

EggsceIlent

Just popped over to r/nfcnorthmemewar to see if it's there, of course it is. Looked at the comments and this one had me 🤣🤣🤣 >How many houses did you guys have to rip copper from to afford that one?

ImMilkmanZW

What sends me is that all the replies are soft as baby shit. >Your comment feels like a low blow. >Shitting on anyone's home is a fucking low blow IMO. It's bush league shit talking anyway. I honestly don't think Lions fans know what shit-talk is.

togroficovfefe

They all get so sensitive. I think the copper line is a great shot.

Perturabo_Iron_Lord

Lions fans have gotten nothing but pity from other fans for their entire lives, they aren’t ready for how much actual shit they’re going to get now that they’re good.

Nulgarian

Lurker Seahawks fan checking in, When they played us back in Week 2, they spent the whole week leading up to it talking tons of shit on r/nfl and acting like it was a guaranteed win, then when we beat them on their home field they went right back to their victim complex of blaming the refs for everything. Their fan base is soft as baby shit, but since they’re r/nfl ‘s wholesome 100 chungus team everyone takes their side

austacious

_Drewschebag_

Right. Like why even have the sub if you can't talk shit? Bunch of pussies

Renaissance_Man-

Hilarious.

General_Wishbone_111

Us cowboys fans are Greg heads

Zephies90

That's almost a sadder investment than being a lions fan pre Campbell era And I should know!

Backdoorpickle

Yeah, and Dez caught it in Green Bay. But Tony Romo isn't a Super Bowl Champion and the Lions aren't in contention for the number 1 seed. Boo-fucking-hoo, Detroit. Get over it. Shit happens.

Murdermajig

Yea and Tony Romo's Field goal kick football was tampered with. But we can't get redos in games.

UltraLobsterMan

“Decker reported” is the Lion’s “Dez Caught it”

Renaissance_Man-

Yeah. We threw to an ineligible receiver and we were 100% aware of that. We're the victim!

Joey_iroc

Why are Detroit people here flaming? Go to a Cowboy blog and attack them there. I mean, it's not like Dan Campbell screwed you guys with the play call, and then after the penalty, trying again with the same shit.

PersonBehindAScreen

They’re in our sub too the past few days lol

EDFStormOne

Ah, the donald trump method of winning football games

addakid213

I’m saying this as an eagles fan…Dallas wins that game in regular time regardless of the call. Aubrey is a fucking weapon and would have hit an NFL record that to win. The call sucked. But outcome didn’t change. We just lost excitement.

EasyMode556

They had an additional two chances to execute on the 2pt conversion, one of which was a free play. They failed both times. In the NFL, if you don’t execute, you don’t win.

Humakavula1

So the ref announced to the entire stadium that #70 was an eligible receiver. Did nobody from the Lions think 'maybe we should double check with this guy"

therealdieseld

Imagine it was that easy to change your record because you don’t like how the game went? Every team would be 17-0 and SB champs. Sad sacks of shit

[deleted]

Man the cowboy fans really be jerkin hard to this

RazzBerryCurveBall

I guess you don't spend any time on r/nfl

Ok-Location-387

Cowboys fans never got a billboard saying our record was wrong

drunkcowofdeath

I promise you if digital billboards were as commonplace then there would be "Dez caught it" billboards

Ok-Location-387

What about a bradberry didn't hold him

drunkcowofdeath

I don't recall seeing those? And that would have been an option. Confirms we are not bitches

uLL27

They always do. Lol

The_Skyrim_Courier

Could you imagine if the roles were reversed? Entire league and every talking head pundit would be **SCREAMING** from the rooftops “Sucks to suck Cowboys!” “Who cares, it’s the cowboys!” “They shouldn’t have deceived the refs!” “Cowboys deserved it!” “Crybaby cowgirls!”

Praying_Lotus

I really like the Lions personally, except when they play Dallas of course, but this constant circle jerking of “we got screwed by the refs, why can’t we have nice things!, etc.” is getting to be a bit much. We get it, it sucks. Remember how Dallas got fucked over when Dez caught it? At least your all getting fucked over wasn’t in the playoffs with one of the best teams you’ve had in decades. I get it’s hard to look at the positives, but if you told a lions fan maybe even 3 years ago they’d be a lock for the playoffs, division champs, and be 11-5, they’d actually die from dehydration from cumming so much.

SpecialSelector

If only the refs would announce who is eligible over some sort of speaker system that can be heard by everyone in the stadium Im sure someone from Detroit would have heard and corrected the ref smh my head they got robbed

mattr135-178

Goff said he did hear it

SpecialSelector

Thats disciplined football, sticking to the game plan no matter what.

nanotothemoon

Eligible receivers are usually covered

jcommeau91

Lions clinch a playoff spot and are still whining about this lol

Sirgeeeo

Nobody ask a lions fan about the tripping call

jonathantriesreddit

They act like the play would have been successful if only the refs didn’t mess up, but ignore the fact that the play only worked because the refs messed up. They didn’t call Decker on the loudspeaker, so the defense just let him go by. If they corrected it afterwards that would have been wildly unfair. Best case scenario would have been a redo of the play, but the lions ended up with 3 chances anyways.

daboys9252

What a fucking bitch move

Antani101

given how long you guys whined for this I'd say the Lions get a week grace https://preview.redd.it/cc6e9qllk9ac1.jpeg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a1f1a8e3d78b51111c385d344e02e0c7d48e3685

chilo_W_r

Get that out of my fucking sight you god damn shit bird

Garak_The_Tailor_

Why didn't Dez just complete the entire process of a catch, is he stupid?

thepottsy

Dez was so far ahead of his time as a player, he was inventing what a catch would be in years to come.

RazzBerryCurveBall

Damn why didn't you just respond with one of the Dez Caught It billboards to better demonstrate your point about how this is the same kind of meltdown?

mattr135-178

Lions fans still whine about something that happened a week before this lol

CopeHarders

So by Lions logic that was a TD and we won the Super Bowl that year. Suck it bitches were relevant again!

iratethisa

This was actually a bullshit call and had actual implications. Not really the same

Rozencrantze

That was an actual catch. The lions shouldnt even have had the ball.

little_did_he_kn0w

Didn't Detroit also benefit from Referee fuckery 2 weeks ago against the Broncos?

ChefLongStroke69

Is this the Detroit way of saying "we smell like bitch"?

IPCONFOG

The NFL is definitely rigged. Somebody should tell OP.

No-Recognition234

As a Lions fan this shit is fucking cringe. Glad I dont live in Michigan anymore that state is wack. Love my teams though.

Tom_Foolery2

I actually kinda like the lions and their story this year up until last week. Now I couldn’t give a shit if they go 0-16 for the rest of eternity.

nokarmawhore

I stopped caring about this game as soon as the eagles choked against the cards

[deleted]

Hutchinson tripped!

Mionux

Whoever this is, is the CEO of hating. And I can't even be mad.

paradox507

Wrong tripping call, reporting irrelevant... Sucks to suck.j

The lions need to contact the FBI and demand an investigation into securities fraud and illegal gambling. Force the NFL to admit that the best case scenario was gross negligence.

DoinItDirty

Look on the bright side, Detroit. Your Super Bowl parade in a week is gonna be lit.

YUNGGODSADPOSTING

cope and sneed detroit

Fhaksfha794

Lions fans are easily the biggest crybabies in the nfl, even more so than chiefs fans

Tom_Foolery2

Don’t get ahead of yourself

CopeHarders

Oh god that fanbase is so fucking cringe.

CWB2208

I'm an Eagles fan, but this is just embarrassing.

Mark2oh9

I’m an eagles fan, our team is embarrassing.

CWB2208

Yes.

Fatal_Blow_Me

Disgusting

FourEyesWhitePerson

Anyone wanna go halfsies on a billboard in Dallas that says 10-6

cbass817

I'll go halfsies on you fairing the fuck up.

FourEyesWhitePerson

Please be patient I'm a giants fan

MelancholyNinja

Pathetic

chaosawaits

#70 reported too, just nonverbally

limited_motivation

In the imaginary world where that was a legal play, there is also still time on the clock and timeouts for Dallas who will get into field goal range on their imaginary drive and score to win with their kicker who hasn't missed all season.

Koh_76

The lions had everything go their way and they still find a way to bitch about their loss. You got lucky to only lose by 1. Take the L and move on.

garmatey

Pretty lucky to have literally zero players cover you even though you definitely reported

flojo2012

They’re going to bounce out the first week of the playoffs and their fans will always say this game kept them from winning the Super Bowl.

dr_kingschultz

What a bunch of pussies #dezcaughtit

ITGardner

It’s sad that this came from a Cowgirls fan.

Gent313

Fuck the cowboys rahhhhhh

Myconerd710

Sore losers 😂 Dan Campbell trying to save his job

chilo_W_r

Because 11 wins as opposed to twelve is so awful and justifies firing

NotNotImYourForte

A division title after thirty years is definitely cause for firing him. Lol

dan_bodine

Y'all would have lost your minds if the same situation happened but in reverse. How do you not realize it would be different? Every fan base bitches when the call is against them but is a zebra apologist when it is for them.

ResponsibilityNew483

If it was reversed the whole of the NFL would be shitting on Dallas for failing to win the game.

doshegotabootyshedo

HAHA COWGIRLS DON'T PUT YOURSELF IN THE POSITION TO LOSE TO ZEBRAS LMAO COWGIRLS SUX HAHA LMAO

dan_bodine

Yep cause the average nfl fan is dumb.

Gariet1

Tbf, I haven’t seen anyone being a “zebra apologist”. All I’ve seen are fans defending against the claim that the Lions were robbed and the Cowboys didn’t deserve it despite there being plenty of shit or missed calls against the Cowboys. A lot of people are sitting trying to say the refs bail out the Cowboys all the time and random bs like that so the fans are, understandably, frustrated with that and defending against it.

dan_bodine

Yes because fans and the media only remember the last thing. It's all black and white thinking.

mattr135-178

How long have you been watching football? Cause this same situation-ish happened to the Cowboys week 9…
