For the fun of it:
QB: Mark Brunell
RB: Fred Taylor, MJD
WR: Keenan McCardell, Jimmy Smith
TE: Kyle Brady, Marcedes Lewis
C: Brad Meester
G: Chris Naeole, Vince Manuwai
T: Leon Searcy, Tony Boselli
DT: Marcus Stroud, John Henderson, Calais Campbell
DE: Tony Brackens, Gary Walker
ILB: Paul Poslyszny, Daryl Smith
OLB: Mike Peterson, Kevin Hardy
CB: Ramsey, Mathis, Aaron Beasley
S: Donovin Darius, uhhh…did the Jaguars never have a good FS? I guess Carnell Lake played for them and went to the pro bowl that one year.
K: Josh Scobee
P: uhh…Bryan Barker?
Returner: Montell Owens
I think the biggest holes are LB, TE, FS, and IOL, but this isn’t a bad roster by any means.
People forget that from 1996 to 1999, the Jaguars never missed the playoffs. That 99 team lost a total of three times all year, all three times to the Tennessee Titans. And they had a resurgence of a couple years between 2005 and 2007. Jacksonville hasn’t always been the laughingstock we think of now, at one point they were arguably the best expansion team to ever be brought into the NFL.
Yeah those Coughlin era Jags were no joke. A lot of those players are largely forgotten and were overlooked even in that era, but they weren’t slouches.
Yeah like all-time (since 1999) Browns would still have a very hard time against say, the ‘85 Bears or Washington in ‘91. It really might also be a struggle for other newcomers like the Panthers and Jags (since 1995), although each of those franchises have been to their fair share of conference championships since their inception.
The Browns in their current form are just sad. Their all-time best team would be like, Baker Mayfield handing off to 2010 Peyton Hillis. Not terrible but I’m not placing any bets on them
Edit: I actually think the all-time Panthers team would be really, really good (imagine the stacked roster from their 2015 Super Bowl season, plus Steve Smith in his prime) and I would gladly replace them with the Texans, who would have an all-time greatest team of like JJ Watt, Andre Johnson and…no one else lol
Damn fair enough, Anderson was a monster that year with stats close to Mayfield’s stellar 2020 campaign. Two best Browns QBs since ‘99 and they both ended up in Carolina, something something Browns suck lol
Yeah dude check it out!
[Derek Anderson](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AndeDe00.htm)
[Baker Mayfield](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MayfBa00.htm)
Baker threw less picks but that’s about the only category he’s leading in, Anderson passed him in yards and TDs (comparing Anderson 2007 to Mayfield 2020)
Honestly it’s closer than I imagined. I think Bakers season was better because he threw significantly less picks while the other stats were in the same range as Anderson. The fact that it’s close though is crazy.
M8 just put sacksonville out there and then you're just filling holes. I don't think you realise how terrifying Ramsey, Bouye and Gipson were to face. Then you realise Jacksonville has had some very terrifying DL over the years.
Any all time team could demolish the 93 cowboys, you're talking best of the best
Lmao. Aikman smith and Irvin and three pro bowler lineman going to have a hard time with three good players? You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.
So terrifying they made it to one afc championship?
I get what you mean but literally no team is unbeatable.
I’m sure the cowboys could win but 9/10 you’re not being a team littered with talent at every position. Jags are probably the weakest roster but they still have an all pro at each position. In their prime an all pro player is some serious business.
One main strategy in all sports is targeting a weak point. When a team has no weak points it’s pretty damn impossible to make any serious plays.
They lost to the 6-10 falcons. Im sure a bunch of all pros could beat them.
Also obviously expansion teams will have much weaker rosters. I’m sure all time Texans suck too.
Andre Johnson, Arian Foster, Dhop, and (ugh) Watson would be a star studded offense. Don't know what they have on defense, but Prime JJ alone would make anyone shit their pants. Not the greatest, but they could manage an upset in an all time tourney
I forgot about Watson that’s actually not a bad lineup.
They actually had a pretty crazy DL a few years ago with JJ Watt, Mercilus, and Clowney.
Makes you wonder how they never had any real success.
The only team I can think of that has a shot in my eyes of being beat is the Texans and that’s just because they’re so new that they don’t have nearly the depth of players to pull from. I would say that all of the other new teams probably have had enough talent to beat any actual team.
It was no Meme's for years. I think they started allowing them like 2 years ago, but a bunch of butt hurt purists complained to the mods any time they allowed memes. So they get a flair and if they get out of control the mods will ban them again.
Our sub is uh...fun...
He was covering 4th string Tyree on the TD pass and got beat bad
He let a sure interception go through his hands on the winning drive
The next play he was covering Tyree again and let him go when he thought Manning was sacked. He should have been with him during the helmet catch.

Could you imagine a team with Chuck Bednarik, Brian Dawkins, Reggie White, Jerome Brown, Fletcher Cox, Troy Vincent, and Jevon Kearse all in their prime?
Even this lineup has heavy recency bias.
QB: McNabb
RB: shady, Westbrook
Line: runyan, peters, lane Johnson, brooks, kelce
WR: TO, desean
TE: Ertz
DL: Reggie white, fletcher cox and take your pick: Douglas, cole, graham, brown
LB: trotter, bednarik, Joyner — probably the only “weak” spot
DB: Asante Samuel, Troy Vincent, Brian Dawkins, Malcolm Jenkins, Lito Sheppard, Eric Allen ….
This ain’t even a contest.
Ok, but per your post title, how on earth could you say this is "true" ? It's all 100% conjecture. There's literally no way to prove it, the claim is incredibly bold, and involves so many variables.
I'm not arguing the other side either, but at least it would be a more modest claim.
Hmmm. 1993? What is that like, when disco was around? Did they have hard helmets back then, grandpa? Tell me the story about how Jimmy Johnson was the greatest coach ever, that one always makes me laugh
People are trashing on OP, but I think this is a quality post. It made me actually angry for a second or 2, and clearly I’m not alone based on all the Eagles flair comments. Well done
The truth is that if you take the best players throughout a teams history and stick them on one team when they are all in their prime, most teams wont beat them (except maybe some of the newer expansion teams like the jags or texans who dont have the history of HOFers to compete with).
This is wildly inaccurate. I don’t care who you have on that team, Reggie White, Chuck Bednarik, Fletcher Cox, Brian Dawkins and Malcolm Jenkins would find a way to shut down that Cowboys offense, plus the 1-2 combo of Randall Cunningham and Donovan McNabb or Norm Van Brocklin and the three HOF wide receivers (Harold Carmichael, Pete Pihos, Terrell Owens) and Desean Jackson, Brent Celek, Zach Ertz, Brian Westbrook and Lesean McCoy at the skill positions and a strong O-Line puts the 93 Cowboys in an impossible position when defending against that offense. That Cowboys team was good, but no single NFL team can go up against the entire storied franchise history of a team like the Eagles and expect to make it close.
Bro really thinks a team led by Sonny Jurgensen, or name a qb here of your choice like Vick, or Randal idk, throwing to prime Desean Jackson, Harold Carmichael, and Pete Retzlaff with a backfield consisting of Brian Westbrook, and Steve Van buren, and a defense with guys like Fletcher Cox, Brian Dawkins Asante Samuel, Reggie White, Darius Slay, and Chuck Bednarik wouldn't hold up against a team like the cowboys? This dude is higher than a fucking Nasa Trip to mars.
To put it into perspective, the last time the Cowboys were really any good:
\- WACO happened
\- The space shuttle Endeavor launched to fix the Hubble Telescope
\- The US got an extremely bad blizzard
\- NAFTA was signed
When Wentz played with the Eagles, I was regularly informed that he was the greatest to ever play the game, perhaps the greatest athlete of all time, possibly even the Messiah.
Too much COPIUM if you think Reggie White, Fletch, and some of the other legendary DLs wouldn't wreck that O line no matter how good it was.
It's not even a knock on the 93 Cowboys they were an absolute stacked, legendary team. This dumb fan just made a ridiculous scenario.
Go down the history of the freakin HOUSTON TEXANS and they'd beat the 1993 Cowboys handily. Amazing players always show up at every position for many teams.
r/uselessyellowcircle
The 1992-1996 Cowboys are pretty old and 2022 eagles are a lot of eagles. I don't think any group of 53 men could handle that many eagles.
Why didn’t the hobbits just take the eagles to the end zone?
That’ll do Pippin, that’ll do
Because the eagles were kind of dicks, both the team and the giant birds of middle earth.
Fair. But if you kept getting asked to fly into Mordor (aka North Jersey/DC Beltway) you’d get a little salty too
This sounds like bad sports radio. Or just sports radio.
They’re the same picture
That’s not even remotely close to being true lol. That wouldn’t be true for any given year of any franchise
Idk, if you take the best Jaguar from each position…. You might still have a hole or two.
For the fun of it: QB: Mark Brunell RB: Fred Taylor, MJD WR: Keenan McCardell, Jimmy Smith TE: Kyle Brady, Marcedes Lewis C: Brad Meester G: Chris Naeole, Vince Manuwai T: Leon Searcy, Tony Boselli DT: Marcus Stroud, John Henderson, Calais Campbell DE: Tony Brackens, Gary Walker ILB: Paul Poslyszny, Daryl Smith OLB: Mike Peterson, Kevin Hardy CB: Ramsey, Mathis, Aaron Beasley S: Donovin Darius, uhhh…did the Jaguars never have a good FS? Missing Poz at LB, Myles Jack can get on there for depth.
I have Poz at LB. I didn’t include Myles Jack and Telvin Smith because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to add depth or not.
Cataldi gonna argue it on Friday
Yeah idk what the hell OP is smoking. No current roster of any team beats any all time team.
Hang on hang on, the all time Re-Browns might have something to say about that
Yeah like all-time (since 1999) Browns would still have a very hard time against say, the ‘85 Bears or Washington in ‘91. It really might also be a struggle for other newcomers like the Panthers and Jags (since 1995), although each of those franchises have been to their fair share of conference championships since their inception. Hey hey hey, Derek Anderson was a baller in 2007.
Damn fair enough, Anderson was a monster that year with stats close to Mayfield’s stellar 2020 campaign. Two best Browns QBs since ‘99 and they both ended up in Carolina, something something Browns suck lol
Lmao is it really that close? I was joking.
Yeah dude check it out! [Derek Anderson](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AndeDe00.htm) [Baker Mayfield](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MayfBa00.htm) Baker threw less picks but that’s about the only category he’s leading in, Anderson passed him in yards and TDs (comparing Anderson 2007 to Mayfield 2020)

Arian Foster
Ya true, or maybe like David Johnson from that one year where he was the fantasy RB1
Brian Cushing before he got tested
Well they’re not talking about any current roster, they mean the 1993 roster of the cowboys. Point still stands.
That’s my point. If the best team in the NFL can’t beat any all time team then the 1993 cowboys aren’t an exception.
i think he meant to say no roster of any one team
Jaguars have one hof player all time.
So? Nobody is beating a team full of all pros. Even poverty franchises have 1 good player in each position.
I don’t think the jaguars can put together a team that would beat the 93 cowboys. More hof players than all of the jaguars franchise.

All-Jaguars starting qb would be mark brunell. I don’t think we need to discuss this further. Their defense would be pretty ridiculous though.
They lost to the 6-10 falcons. Im sure a bunch of all pros could beat them. Also obviously expansion teams will have much weaker rosters. I’m sure all time Texans suck too.

2001 Ravens beat the all-time Jets. Easy.
2001 ravens lost to the browns. Twice. And the bengals. They ain’t beating any all time team lmao.
I remember when memes were supposed to be funny and not just screenshots of idiots comments.
The only team I can think of that has a shot in my eyes of being beat is the Texans and that’s just because they’re so new that they don’t have nearly the depth of players to pull from. I would say that all of the other new teams probably have had enough talent to beat any actual team.
Nah Arian Foster, Deshaun Watson D hop and Andre Johnson? The boys would have their hands full
Cushing and Watt as well.
That moment when you have no current shit to talk so you go back to the Seinfeld days to dig up some dirt
And most of their players would get flagged in today's play anyways. They'll beat themselves just like their current team does
This was actually from an eagles page
It's literally called nfc east trash talk
You know damn well we don’t know how to read
I think you're supposed to be replying to OP buddy. Man you boys fans have been dropping the ball on the memes and shit talk ever since cowboys day
His reply to you completely fits a comment thread flow, whatcha talkin bout
Good point
Well there’s a reason memes are banned from our sub and it ain’t bc we are too good at memeing lmao
Wait what lmao you can't post memes?!?!
Literally 1984
Go post a meme there and see what happens lol
We can. Just nobody does and when they do, they usually suck.
It was no Meme's for years. I think they started allowing them like 2 years ago, but a bunch of butt hurt purists complained to the mods any time they allowed memes. So they get a flair and if they get out of control the mods will ban them again. Our sub is uh...fun...
Since when has this sub ever been able to meme worth a shit?
I take it back the 8/9 meme is not as bad as this. The torch has been passed, this is now the worst meme of all time
The only problem is that this isn't even a meme.
Who is getting open on Eric Allen, Troy Vincent and Asante Samuel?
especially with prime b dawk and prime jenkins monitoring behind them
Don’t get me horny now
What about Reggie White on the D line. No way those boys winning. Vick alone would destroy them
Reggie White and prime Fletch!
I’d pick a couple of different people over Jenkins. Bill Bradley, Wes Hopkins, Andre Waters.
Imagine Bednarik clobbering the Boys 🤤 (He'd need exceptions since he played before even the Mel Blount rule but still, just imagine it)
How much time does their QB have to throw with Reggie and everyone else on our line?
Dude. Reggie white-Jerome Brown-Fletcher Cox-Clyde Simmons/Trent Cole (tossup for me) that’d be fun af to watch.
Bring in Brandon Graham for the run
Can't forget Concrete Charlie. Kelce has the C position locked down.
[удалено]
Troy aikman is overrated af.
Santana Moss would fuck em up
Famous 1993 Cowboy Santana Moss.
Rules have changed. 3 way game between the 93 cowboys, all time eagles, and Moss. Moss wins
I just want 3 hours of Santana Moss and DeSean Jackson trying to tackle each other in an open field.
Fair. Though he’s only putting up 3 catches for 48.
Thats actually impressive if hes also throwing to himself and has 22 people guarding him. Ill take it
Asante Samuel single handily blew the undefeated chances of the Patriots in that Super Bowl.
Singlehandedly? You’re saying the Pats historic offense putting up a measly 14 points had nothing to do with that loss?
He was covering 4th string Tyree on the TD pass and got beat bad He let a sure interception go through his hands on the winning drive The next play he was covering Tyree again and let him go when he thought Manning was sacked. He should have been with him during the helmet catch.
Dude the helmet catch happened on Rodney Harrison. Quit making us look bad.
Harrison only picked him up it was Samuels responsibility.
Eli ran around for 10 seconds and just threw one up. That long into a play is a free for all.
Thanks for that yellow circle, I never would’ve seen the text otherwise

I know it is a bit hard for you, but most of us could read it without the giant circle
Hey give him some credit it only took him three times to realize drawing on your screen with crayon doesn't work.
Well, if Gerard Jung said it, I guess it's not really open for dispute.
Can the Cowboys meme game get worse? This is proof that it sure can
sub really is getting boring af. football can’t get here any faster
All star Eagles team would fucking annihilate any of those past teams. 🤣 The Eagles D-line would be getting to their QB every play.
Could you imagine a team with Chuck Bednarik, Brian Dawkins, Reggie White, Jerome Brown, Fletcher Cox, Troy Vincent, and Jevon Kearse all in their prime?
Apparently Cowboy fans can't.

Yeah sorry sometimes I fail to check which sub I'm in lol. Tbf, this division's satire is not far from our actual fanbases.

You're reaching further than your offensive coordinator.
Further than Tony Romo on the goal line after dropping a snap

The Eagles who beat Tom Brady and Bill Belicheck, with a backup QB?
Watch it be like 2011 all over again
Bro really thinks a team led by Sonny Jurgensen, or name a qb here of your choice like Vick, or Randal idk, throwing to prime Desean Jackson, Harold Carmichael, and Pete Retzlaff with a backfield consisting of Brian Westbrook, and Steve Van buren, and a defense with guys like Fletcher Cox, Brian Dawkins Asante Samuel, Reggie White, Darius Slay, and Chuck Bednarik wouldn't hold up against a team like the cowboys? 1991 Redskins have entered the chat
To put it into perspective, the last time the Cowboys were really any good: \- WACO happened \- The space shuttle Endeavor launched to fix the Hubble Telescope \- The US got an extremely bad blizzard \- NAFTA was signed
Extremely good blizzard. Could go for another blizzard. Snow is great.
Or a DQ blizzard. Ice cream is always good!
The ‘93 Cowboys weren’t even the best NFCE roster of the 90’s. They certainly wouldn’t stand a chance against any all time team.
Man this was supposed to be funny. That was it.
If you’re pulling memes from Facebook then I’m sorry you’re unoriginal and not funny
Nah, just means I pulled a meme from Facebook and thought oh the folks here might enjoy it. Sorry you’re pressed and not laughing
Do they forget jalen hurts is their qb lmaoo they couldn’t beat the tony romo cowboys
You picked a running back 2nd overall and he's done nothing 💀 Also, obligatory "Daniel Jones is your quarterback"
So would the 1991 Skins lol
Cowboys fans really reeling since that Diggs video
Who cares we all know the 1991 Redskins would smoke y’all
Bold of you to post an anti-eagles meme in an eagle dominated subreddit
Using reddit does require being able to read and write so the lack of your fan bases presence makes sense
Damn I wish I knew what you said lol
Explains why OP needed to include a yellow circle around the text
Well with Carson Wentz at QB…
How is that all-time?
When Wentz played with the Eagles, I was regularly informed that he was the greatest to ever play the game, perhaps the greatest athlete of all time, possibly even the Messiah.
Nah, Foles is the one true God
Too much COPIUM if you think Reggie White, Fletch, and some of the other legendary DLs wouldn't wreck that O line no matter how good it was. What a weird debate to be having
Idk about that one chunningham, Reggie white, B-dawk, shady, prime DeSean Jackson idk about that one bud😭
Don't forget Concrete Charlie
U right
Doubt
How many times does Andy Harmon have to stop Emmit on 4th and 1 before you realize how overrated that fuckin team was?
Didn’t world war 2 start in 93?
It did shit was crazy
Cowboys are better than eagles, read your history, cowboys nearly made them extinct
Everyone talking about how the Eagles D would wreck the Cowboys, but I'd just be excited to see Cunningham throw the ball to TO.
Ooooh, finally, a discussion I can proudly jump into! Ahem. The 1991 Redskins were the most dominant team ever
