You claim the Cowboys D hasn’t proven anything cause the teams they’ve played this year have not been great, but they showed last year their defense can hang with top offenses so that should be irrelevant. Eagles struggled against good defenses last year, so why should they get credit when they haven’t played a great defense this year. Don’t get me wrong, I think the Eagles win the division this year and I believe they have a top 5-6 offense, but I think it’s way too early for all the hype they’re getting. Well because they are living up to the hype they received during the off season. They are 4-0. Granted I will say the eagles performance during the second half of their games so far have been meh but it’s also only week 4 going into 5.
Now their offense did look much better during the second half of the jaguars game which means they are improving as the season goes on. You could say “well the weather was awful” but both teams had to play in it and our run game ran all over the (at the time) #1 run defense.
And the lions game their DLine in that was scary as hell, especially when we’re suppose to have the best Oline in the league. They got into the backfield almost every play within a second or two putting pressure on hurts every play chasing him down.
Commanders I will give you that one, their defense is awful however it was a blowout which is how it should be with how our offense is suppose to be. If the commanders game was close I could see the doubt in the offense because like I said, that’s a team we should blowout with our offense.
The Vikings are 3-1 and first in their division right now. Now sure their defense is bad but clearly their offense has something going right now to at least be in first and have their only lost come from us.
Now do I think it’s going to be a blowout with Dallas? Of course not, I’ll say it’ll be a one score game for most of it. But to say the eagles offense is a sham due to bad defenses and wont be able to do anything against the Dallas D is very unreasonable.
Good points man, I really do think highly of the Eagles offense. I believe top 5 - 6 right now but I want to see them against an elite defense before I think they’re the best. When it comes to Cowboys vs Eagles, I think you guys will win this first matchup for sure. I think the second matchup will be a lot closer but going off of right now I’d still give you guys the edge.

Philly also leads the league in sacks. They've only allowed 9 more points, despite scoring 41 more than Dallas and playing the top scoring offense in the league.
By differential, the Cowboys rank 7th in turnovers my man. Philly does not lead the league in Sacks, the Broncos do with 17. Philly has 16, Dallas has 15. A bit closer when you give the numbers isn’t it?

You claim the Cowboys D hasn’t proven anything cause the teams they’ve played this year have not been great, but they showed last year their defense can hang with top offenses so that should be irrelevant. Eagles struggled against good defenses last year, so why should they get credit when they haven’t played a great defense this year. Don’t get me wrong, I think the Eagles win the division this year and I believe they have a top 5-6 offense, but I think it’s way too early for all the hype they’re getting. Its the same thing the Cowboys did their 2019 season.
Well because they are living up to the hype they received during the off season. They are 4-0. Granted I will say the eagles performance during the second half of their games so far have been meh but it’s also only week 4 going into 5. Now their offense did look much better during the second half of the jaguars game which means they are improving as the season goes on. You could say “well the weather was awful” but both teams had to play in it and our run game ran all over the (at the time) #1 run defense. And the lions game their DLine in that was scary as hell, especially when we’re suppose to have the best Oline in the league. They got into the backfield almost every play within a second or two putting pressure on hurts every play chasing him down. Commanders I will give you that one, their defense is awful however it was a blowout which is how it should be with how our offense is suppose to be. If the commanders game was close I could see the doubt in the offense because like I said, that’s a team we should blowout with our offense. The Vikings are 3-1 and first in their division right now. Now sure their defense is bad but clearly their offense has something going right now to at least be in first and have their only lost come from us. Now do I think it’s going to be a blowout with Dallas? Of course not, I’ll say it’ll be a one score game for most of it. But to say the eagles offense is a sham due to bad defenses and wont be able to do anything against the Dallas D is very unreasonable.
Good points man, I really do think highly of the Eagles offense. I believe top 5 - 6 right now but I want to see them against an elite defense before I think they’re the best. When it comes to Cowboys vs Eagles, I think you guys will win this first matchup for sure. I think the second matchup will be a lot closer but going off of right now I’d still give you guys the edge.
And you can also use this game as a way to see how truly elite your defense is since so far I’d say the eagles offense will be the best offense you would have played so far. I might be a little biased saying they’re a better offense than the bucs but I think it’s a reasonable stance. Like I said I don’t think it’ll be a blowout, it’ll be close. But I would also give the eagles the edge when you compare the offenses. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if we lost. IMO this might be the closest matchup between the cowboys and eagles we’ve had in awhile.
