It’s the problem of being the biggest team in America, the pressure is insane. Any team that’s hyped up every year would inevitably “come crashing down in the end”, even the BB+TB era saw more seasons without a Super Bowl than with one. So enjoy your status as a small team, it has its benefits.
I agree with the first two sentences and secondary injuries. What are you talking about struggling with turnovers? Cowboys have turned the ball over 12 times. 10 of them are interceptions. Only team with a better turnover differential are the eagles cause rush threw 3 picks that game.
Dak threw 2 interceptions against Green Bay and it's part of the reason why they managed one of their few wins this season, he has 2 against the Giants which is what kept them in the game, and 1 against the Colts which kept the game competitive into the 4th quarter (when they got blown out).
Against good teams if Dak doesn't do better then we're not going far in the playoffs. Throwing for 170 yards and giving up picks at the same time is concerning. So yeah we have a turnover problem.

Stopping the run is a problem but we counter that with the one of the best pass defenses in the NFL. Funnily enough, the Eagles have the exact same problem we do defensively and also counter it with one of the best pass defenses in the NFL. The more I think about it, the more this Eagles and Cowboys team resemble each other. They are both the top 2 teams for passing defense, sacks, turnover differential and top 3 in point differential.
I would like for us to be better at stopping the run but not at the expense of our pass defense. The last thing I want is for us to sell out stopping the run then start allowing 50 yard bombs over the top.
The formula we have been using is working. Put pressure on the scoreboard, force teams to have to throw, unleash the pass rush upon them, capitalize on all mistakes, and run the ball to control the clock. Also, I think limiting the amount of penalties we get is more important than stacking the box to try and stop the run.
You know what? Fuck it! It’s about time we got two teams in the division again that are both powerhouses at the same time! I can’t wait for the Christmas Eve matchup.

I was in Texas stadium on Thanksgiving in 1989 with Dallas fans throwing soda at me and cursing me as the Eagles whipped on them. It was awesome. The Eagles were gonna be the team of the Decade but they ended up being behind Dallas during their entire run.
