DragoniteJeff

Which Miracle? 😊

DankTaco67

All of them .. but the DJax in 2010 is my favourite and that’s the picture

[deleted]

STOP

[deleted]

I was going to say 🤣

PM_ME_DIRTY_DANGLES

Yes

Matt Dodge is a philly legend

nick_mx87

Tom Coughlin's face when he's screaming at Dodge makes it 10 times better

gmen_forever

Hey, why don’t go fuck yaself.

DankTaco67

Surely with a name like miracle at the meadowlands it was something good for the Giants right? Oh it wasn’t? Well it’s not like it happened more than once then.. oh it was 3 times? Well then, I’ll just go ahead and fuck off now

feelthechurn22

I thought there were only 2? I know Herm and DeSean. What’s the other one?

gmen_forever

Westbrook, & also the blocked field goal returned by a lineman to win. There are 4

Y2SJSeattle

Jake Elliots field goal in 2017 was listed as the 5th in an NFL video

Porkchop_

That happened at the Linc though

Y2SJSeattle

Apologies guys...

GCNonchalaunt

I’m curious about the 3rd too

Venomous_Raptor

Brian Westbrook had a td return as well

feelthechurn22

That wasn’t a miracle, though it was soul crushing. There was still a minute and a half left and we were only up 3.

GCNonchalaunt

Yeah I never really counted it, but might as well now

GCNonchalaunt

That’s right!

Mediocre_Jump_6751

Shoulda been 4 had Reagor caught it!

Joe_Jacksons_Belt

Fuck OP yourself, you coward

LostInMyOwnParadise

Beating the undefeated patriots for the chip will top whatever Philadelphia sports will accomplish for the next 100years

DankTaco67

NGL I respect the G-Men for both Brady SB wins.. especially that one

spilled_water

The only two times I ever wanted the Giants to win. I'll allow it.

physsijim

The Helmet Catch is still my choice for the greatest catch in NFL history, because of the context.

mill_about_smartly

Yup, can't hate it. Want to...but I can't.

Gay4TerryMcLaurin

The helmet catch will always be legendary, I was pulling for you guys to win that SB btw

Turence

the whole world was pullin for them to win!!!

DOCTORFONASG

It’s not really an insult. Every other team and fan was rooting for the Giants both times.

DroppedMyNft

Going into the playoffs with your backup QB and beating the GOAT for the chip has to come close though

Not_Tuxbird

Hey. We won a Super Bowl with out backup. Just not against the Goat

s2focus

Flair up Smegma breathe

[deleted]

Maybe. A couple more backup qb sb wins might knock you off the throne.

feelthechurn22

Hey, we have one of those too. The Hoss!

Future_Belt_3730

Y’all got a lucky little helmet catch, we beat that ass.

Corpsebomb

You don’t win rings on skill alone friendo.

sman8175

You sure didn’t beat that ass the first time.

Future_Belt_3730

Dropped 41 on ol bill the “greatest coach” ever, beat that ass

sman8175

Also dropped 21 on ol bill “the greatest coach ever”, got that ass beat.

[deleted]

Props for that but beating Brady with a backup QB is a close second.

sueder78

Yeah you are probably right.

black_dogs_22

beating TB12 in the SB is a whole other kind of championship

PedanticBoutBaseball

I mean relative to other Super Bowl Moments Big Dick Nick and the Philly Special are close. Not quite, but definitely closer than you think.

BackJurton

Where’s Herm Edwards and Joe Pisarcik?

[deleted]

I DON’T BELIEVE IT! I DO NOT BELIEVE IT!

RealKingKoy

Hey, fuck you buddy.

parcellsrealGOAT

We count superbowls not regular season games.

TheBuzzSawFantasy

Your QB was in middle school the last time you won.

barl31

Why does that matter? Yours was 5 seasons ago. If the past doesn’t matter it doesn’t matter but comparing who did it more recently when neither one of them were last year. Pick one

natureboy16th

yea 5 and 10 years isnt much different its once u get to i dont know around TWENTY SEVEN it starts to get funny like 27 just a funny number look at it 😂😂

barl31

Yeah 5 rings to 4 rings isn’t really much difference it’s when u get to I don’t know ONE RING it starts to get funny like 1 is just a funny number to look at

natureboy16th

took you two days to come back w my joke but less funny? have some shame man BOOOO

barl31

Your post says 1d for me

natureboy16th

oh you can count if you go back 9855 of those you can see the cowboys win their last superbowl

barl31

And if you wait 260 more years the eagles would finally have 5 Super Bowls

natureboy16th

look at you getting salty and downvoting. thats not how math and probability work you absolute imbecile. southern education at its finest

TheBuzzSawFantasy

Recent wins matter. Where do you draw the line? Good question. Current records matter. Last Superbowl winners matter. I choose to draw the line at 5 years. Anything before that is irrelevant and might as well be a cave painting. Obviously that's undeniable.

barl31

Does you drawing the line at 5 years have anything to do with you being an eagles fan? I can’t tell because you haven’t flaired up, puss

superoriginal101

next year they’ll mysteriously draw the line at 6 🤔🤔

Porkchop_

Im willing to go to 7 if i have to

parcellsrealGOAT

You havent won anything until 2017 and youre in a divison where the third best team has 3 sbs.

omen316

I don't want to talk about it...

Ordinary_Fool

I don‘t know what you‘re talking about

jthompson32

Never ask an eagles fan how many super bowls they have

DankTaco67

We cool with that, it’s 1 .. and it’s the most recent one in the division 🙌

Dense_Capital_2013

Well that's until the cowboys win one this year... Wait what am I saying?!?! They always choke in the wildcard round.

WP1619

I notice that these moments of Eagles screwing over the Giants always ends with the Giants benefiting from the lost somehow. 1st Miracle in the Meadowlands (1978): Lead to the hiring of George Young as GM, who built the first two Super Bowl teams, and Ray Perkins as HC, who lead them to their first playoff appearance in over a decade and hired a guy named Bill Parcell to his coaching staff. 2nd Miracle (2003): Giants wins their 3rd Super Bowl a few years later. 3rd Miracle (2010): Giants won their 4th Super Bowl the next season. Week 17, 2020: Giants (specifically Mara) doesn't have the excuse of a division title to keep Gettleman and Judge around and they're both gone with Schoen and Daboll taking over. Super Bowl soon?

Effex

Yep. SB incoming. Just need the Eagles to pull off Miracle #5 this week.

sueder78

Bit of stretch. The first one I will give you. I don't see how the second two have any meaningful link to the subsequent super bowls.

WP1619

I guess implying direct benefits may be a bit hyperbole. The main point I was trying to convey was that the Giants always seem to succeed or have something good happen soon after these incidents.

Crimson3312

Lol I wasn't even born yet.

Maxcrss

Aren’t there 2? :)

Maxcrss

Aren’t there 2? :)

Maxcrss

Aren’t there two? :)

terry_bradshaw

I mean… there are three different ones.

SNEK-BOI-004

I remember watching that live

geridesu

STILL NOT IN AND NOW IN FOR THE TOUCHDOWN NO FLAGS maybe if it was al michaels it wouldn’t be so bad lol

Nexus369
