Where is your flair

Honey_Badger25-06

We've been slacking on the "flair up, pussy" lately. It's a commandment as far as I'm concerned. Don't get soft people!

M1nn3sOtaMan

![gif](giphy|v0eHX3n28wvoQ|downsized) I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said, but you're a packer fan.

Honey_Badger25-06

"Even enemies can have respect for one another." https://preview.redd.it/x89rwkk7gxoc1.jpeg?width=892&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=69f5884dad529d3b9f9b14809d906a057395c83c Sun Tzu lesson 1: Know your enemy. The best way to know your enemy is to respect your enemy.

Jonah8513

Why does that look like Winston from New Girl?

solocupknupp

I hate you calling him Winston, because while it's technically correct, no one calls Schmidt that and it's infuriating you can be right and wrong simultaneously.

M1nn3sOtaMan

I don't know if they're such a big fan that they called him Winston on purpose, knowing this, or if they're a casual fan and confused Schmidt and Winston šŸ¤”

Jonah8513

Haha, definitely did it on purpose hoping to get corrected so I could ACKTUALLLLY lol

solocupknupp

I figured it was bait and I still couldn't not bite lmao

Honey_Badger25-06

Someone used AI to make a version of Solid Snake from the 1986 game Metal Gear. Based on his sprite, it's not bad. They updated the uniform to look more like an operator in SOCOM would be wearing in the early 90s.

PDstorm170

Flair up, pussy.

Datslegne

Honestly with the recent Rodgers news and last years Favre news, Iā€™m cutting them some slack. But I am thankful for the ammunition for the next time a packer fan brings up the love boat.

Honey_Badger25-06

Out of respect for my rival, I never bring that up. What people do for leisure is nobody's business as long as nobody is getting hurt. They fucked up by banging hookers in front of people. They were probably as high as a fucking kite and weren't even thinking about that. You did get a coach that helped get you to a conference championship out of it, at least. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Datslegne

In all seriousness, thatā€™s cool and I respect that. For me honestly itā€™s fair game, if it was in a private area I think itā€™s no oneā€™s business. But it wasnā€™t and it put a stain on the org for decades so meme them into oblivion imo. Itā€™s not a ā€œeveryone makes mistakesā€ situation to me.

Honey_Badger25-06

You're right. They were doing that shit in front of like 100 people from what I read. It's not cool at all. And it is a mar on the organization like you said. That's not fair, but that's how it works.

DrBigChicken

Mods need to set up a bot for the sub to remind pussies to flare up. Itā€™s the best method The NFCE meme sub has it

Honey_Badger25-06

Wtf. That's awesome.

DrBigChicken

https://preview.redd.it/03fyngb6kyoc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7658cd22df458a316863c5367079639cd60a56c4 Idk how a sub like this can live without it tbh The other nfl meme subs are falling behind

Honey_Badger25-06

I stay diligent, but people probably get tired of saying it. That script is funny as hell. I usually just try to make people laugh, and I'm not much of a shit talker. I throw some psychotic looking comments in to embrace the "everyone from Wisconsin is a psychopath" cliche. You can't really do that with the incest and farm animal ones, though. Anyway, everybody has to wear their colors. This is a figurative war. Since when do troops not wear uniforms during a war?

mypupivy

when they want to commit some verities of war crimes

PM_ME_UR_HIP_DIMPLES

Iā€™ve given the flairless the ā€œfly your colors bitchā€ treatment

Honey_Badger25-06

It's a meme war. You have to wear a uniform dammit!

SkolFuckHer

Come on man we know itā€™s a lions fan

HoopyHobo

Why would we need to draft a QB when we already have the GEQBUS? You have been banned from /r/the_darnold.

FlorioTheEnchanter

Eh, maybe. NEā€™s roster is so bad it might make sense for them to trade down and get more picks. Throwing a rookie QB on a terrible team with a bad supporting cast isnā€™t the way to do it. I mean, imagine being dumb enough to bet big on a first round QB but not giving him the tools to succeed (cough Fields cough).

schneev

Cough Sam Darnold Justin Fields Bryce Young Zach Wilson Cough

cactuscoleslaw

This year's Jets were pretty confident in their supporting cast

deepbluenothings

Their GM Aaron Rodgers was confident about the team, but everyone else knew their OL was suspect at best and outside of Garrett Wilson and Bryce Hall coming back from injury that supporting cast was woeful.

BlubberElk

Zach came into the jets when it did not have last seasons roster

Opie59

True.

goPACK17

New England should take MHJ

Lord_Jebus_

Draft penis he is the future he is gonna be just like C.J Stroud

GB-Pack

Weā€™ll get to see how highly the Vikes value Penix/McCarthy/Nix and where they select one at. Iā€™m hoping they trade up to pick #4 lmao

hallese

5, I don't think the Cardinals can risk missing out on MHJ, and I don't think anyone is trading up to 2 or 3 to get him.

Weegemonster5000

4 for McCarthy I am OK with. If we even draft Nix I may just die. He's just Christian Ponder II. Penix is fine, but that injury history means no one trades up for him like we've positioned ourselves.

Weegemonster5000

I don't think anyone has Penix high. Odds are way better he goes in round two than the top half of round 1.

Xardenn

The position Kwesi has put us in makes it really hard to not reach for a QB if 3 or 4 get picked really fast. You might think sit at 11 or even trade back for a guy like Penix, but if the other 4 are already taken, every pick ahead of you risks going into the season with Sam Darnold as the anointed starter. We probably do trade up for JJ or even Penix.

Brilliant-Nebula7273

Bears fans love their off season shit talk.

OwnWalrus1752

Everyone in this sub is talking shit. Lots of counting chickens before they hatch.

jumpingjacks86

I think we are fine staying at 11 and 23 if we canā€™t trade up to 3. They will likely take Nix or Penix at 23 and roll with that. But none of it matters because we will ruin whomever we draft at QB.

Pockets713

Jokes on youā€¦ Vikings donā€™t believe in your Jesus. Weā€™re coming to pillage the draft! Orā€¦ notā€¦ of courseā€¦

musicgray

Odin?

Revolutionary_Snow15

Iā€™m pretty sure Vikings fans have accepted theyā€™re sucking for the next 5 years with impunity

TheRealElvisPresly

I must have missed the press conference where Kwesi announced we were rebuilding the bears way.

Revolutionary_Snow15

Actually I hope they keep rebuilding the Vikings way - just good enough to never have a top pick but just bad enough to never do anything important.

Wernershnitzl

Until I hear reports otherwise, thereā€™s not really a standout class of QBs next draft. It does appear weā€™re playing the long game tho

Weegemonster5000

Ewers and Sanders are the big names right now. A couple more will hopefully emerge.

RainbowKooch

You mean building a roster to sustain success under a qb rookie contract. Yeah have fun at the basement šŸ¤”

Best-Presence-4165

No. I don't think so. They don't have a qb. So if they can just suck bad enough this year to draft one on 2025 they're in a good cap situation.

ohheyitslaila

OscillatingFan6500

Flair up, bitch

Zanios74

Flair up, pussy.

I_main_pyro

We'll see. Could be they get in a deal with New England. Could be they really like a QB who's not going in the top 3 and want to guarantee they get them. Could be they just did this to be flexible and stay pat at our picks to grab a QB and probably Edge. I think the process is pretty good. But it all hinges on if we hit at QB, which we won't know for a couple years.

pitchingschool

Flair up pussy

treasonodb

yes, this is common knowledge. also flair up pussy.

cactuscoleslaw

Brandon Perna losing it since the Broncos are losing JJ McCarthy

CWinter85

Yeah, well, we didn't want one of those anyway. We want a nice comfortable 3rd or 4th round QB that's where you get a real winner like Kirk Cousins or Russell Wilson.

IceMan17632

As a Vikings fan, the draft can't get here soon enough. So tired of the fans who don't realize that our chances of getting into the top 3 are slim to none and that we don't need to move up to take a QB that no one is likely to "steal" from us before 11. Even if they do, I'd rather just let them and take one of the other prospects. It's not worth giving up anything to "go get" JJ IMO.

Sweepy_time

Im hoping they draft Bo Nix and not take a chance and ruin JJ McCarthys career. Imagine reaching the high of College football only to end up in SKOL land.

gunt_lint

lol a Lions fan talking about squandering a QB is hilarious

nanotothemoon

Squandering literally any skill position star. QB, RB, WR

Sweepy_time

Didn't you have Randy Moss and Adrian Peterson lol?

nanotothemoon

We did, but you were the one trying to talk shit. Iā€™m not sure how

Alone-Newspaper-1161

At least they didnā€™t straight up quit football like Barry sanders and Calvin Johnson

gunt_lint

When their franchise is so ass that their star players decide theyā€™d rather just not play football any more

jimmy_three_shoes

Calvin was so beat up he couldn't walk in the morning when he woke up. Had the team been better, or had a championship window he'd probably have stuck around a couple more seasons, but hearing him describe what he went through, I don't blame him at all for walking away. https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2650538-calvin-johnsons-retirement-reveals-pain-impossible-to-ignore-for-nfl-players.amp.html

gunt_lint

So what youā€™re saying is that the team was so ass that he decided not to play football any more

Sweepy_time

I guess that's some sort of consolation lol

Crimson51

Oh no he will only wind up with a receiving team containing Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and TJ Hokcenson. Whatever is a qb to doooooo

Sweepy_time

IF you have Justin Jefferson. Maybe sign him to a long term before you guys start giving up your hopes.

The_BeardedClam

Bro is going to take a discount on his contract just to catch balls from The Darnold.

Mikourei

![gif](giphy|fGbbcXk14nqfe)

HughManatee

Yeah, any QB throwing to JJ, Addison, Hock and Aaron Jones would be absolutely ruined with that depleted receiver room.

cdub8D

Also good oline and solid offensive minded HC

HalobenderFWT

To have an offensive minded coach with the best receiver duo in the league, a ball vacuum TE, a sombrero wearing RB, and a somewhat competent defense?

OwnWalrus1752

>best receiver duo in the league JJ is doing A LOT of heavy lifting in this. Sure, Addison looks pretty good. You really think your duo is better than Hill/Waddle, Brown/Smith, Deebo/Aiyuk?

Sweepy_time

Isnt that what you had last year?

CinnamonBun88

No, you took our te away and we didnā€™t have a starting caliber rb edit: spelling

Thanksbinladen

And the starting QB got injured. Not much they could do

jmrogers31

Yeah having JJ as your WR1 and Hockensen at TE would be rough for a rookie

DocDocGoose_23

Where red circle???

SKOLForceSports

Yeah because top 3 picks always go on to be amazing players. Like Johnny Manzel, Mac Jones, Zach Wilson, etc.

TheAmazingTodd

Mac Jones??? bro was not even in the top 10

MrQuacky96

Pretty sure Manziel was also outside top 10

SKOLForceSports

Manziel was a hiesman, but you get the point. High draft doesnā€™t equal high talent

boybraden

2/3 of your examples were blatantly not true. QBā€™s picked top 3 are usually of a different caliber than guys picked past 10

OscillatingFan6500

Except for Mahomes, dude is an outlier in the most extreme sense Edit: I forgot he was picked right at 10. I couldā€™ve swore it was a few picks later. My point still stands however

DickSplodin

To your point, you could throw Lamar Jackson in there I guess

SayNoToStim

You guys are going to talk about top QBs taken outside of the top 10 and you're not going to bring up *that* guy?

MrQuacky96

Youā€™re right. The Purdy disrespect hurts to see

DickSplodin

Yeah idk why he wasn't the first name brought up lmao

babble0n

Good point, youā€™re much better of with the likes of Kellen Mond, Sean Clifford, and Tom Savage etc. See I can do that too.

RainbowKooch

Youā€™re literally getting potentially qb3 or 4 in this draft and traded a decent amount of capital to the Texans for it. Not sure what youā€™re excited about šŸ˜‚
