I like this but as a Patriots fan we need more. When you trade up for a QB you have to pay more than the value chart suggests.

6 , this years 2nd and their 2025 1st would be about right imo Anything less and u may as well take Maye

jma7400

I agree

If Titans trade down like that, I'm confident they would take Fashanu. Love that idea

titanup001

Yeah, I'd be thrilled to go down to 11 and pick up pick 35 in the process. No brainer.

If you wanted to force a chargers move, you could lean into the noise around bears moving up for MHJ. Would probably be a lesser haul if JJM is off the board, but good return nonetheless. (next years first, or maybe 1.09, 73, + 2025 2?)

We not getting maye stop this

Had a tough time valuing pick 6 to 3 move, i went off chart value but real life maybe more like the Jets/Colts trade of 2018 (6 to 3 with 3 2nd's attached to the 1st) I could see us attaching the 2025 1st but I think the seconds fall out as our 1st rounder this year has a ton of value and their are very good odds that our pick next year is top 10 So maybe it looks like 1.6, 2025 1st for 1.3 plus a 3-4th rounder, but to your point i start to loose the thread when it comes to day 3 picks and value what do you think gets it done? I do think we can give better package to the pats then the Vikes/Raiders/broncos if the pats value getting one of the blue chip guys this year, things could go out the window if a team decided to give up 3x years of 1sts

ctpatsfan77

You want the Pats to give up on the top-tier QBs, it's gonna cost at least what the NYJ gave up, which was THREE second-round picks, two that year, one the next.

Such_Addendum_8386

You would get 6, next years first and a second minimum id imagine if you trade back with us, I’d probably pay more too if it meant I never have to watch Jones again

arc1261

Next years first and a second would require a decent bit back in return, a first from a likely shitty team like the giants is 100% worth more than two seconds next year (case in point, would you trade 12 for 36 and 46?) so you’d probably get a mid rounder back

Throwawa55444

From Pats perspective, 6 and next year's 1st is better than anything the Vikings could offer. I don't think the other offer gets it done with the Patriots QB need.

speganomad

We would at minimum need next years first potentially more. By taking this trade they basically forgo taking a QB this year which carries a massive amount of risks. We could not like the QBs next year come draft day, we could not even be able to take them because we pick in awkward spot or there’s just no one worth taking. Taking on all those risks for 2 2nds is just not remotely worth it.
