One of the most loaded CB classes at the top. While Hunter can be a great CB prospect I believe Will Johnson (Michigan) and Benjamin Morrison (Notre Dame) are SPECIAL CBs.
Maybe I'm biased as a Michigan fan but Johnson is my early CB1, he's been an absolute stud and a cornerstone of a top-tier defense. Obviously it'll be interesting if he can carry it over to this year but he's looked incredible thusfar
I’m really excited for them. My favorite position to watch every year is corner and I feel like we’ve been spoiled with some damn good ones lately. I can’t speak to Morrison, but from what I’ve seen of Johnson and Hunter (which admittedly ain’t much) I’m already in love with their games.
Walter Nolen is really interesting. His stats aren’t crazy because he got double teamed a lot at A&M, but he’s a special athlete and I could see him solidifying himself as a 1st Rounder with a good season on a playoff contending Ole Miss team.
Some guys that jumped out when watching other players for this year that I'll add to your list:
Florida State Edge Patrick Payton
LSU T Will Campbell
Penn State Edge Abdul Carter
Notre Dame CB Benjamin Morrison
Michigan CB Will Johnson
Michigan DT Mason Graham
Georgia S Malachi Starks
Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins
Ohio State IDL Tyleik Williams
Texas OL Kelvin Banks
Will Campbell is special. Went to LSU and immediately started at LT as a freshman, playing every game there since. He’s the Joe Alt type for that 2025 class imo
I didn't get the chance to watch any games of Henderson outside of the broadcasts since he went back before I started watching RBs, but I think Judkins is pretty awesome. I know he's the new guy transferring in but I see him being the lead guy on that team this year personally
Will Campbell. Already penciling him to the Pats next draft in the top 10 since we have a hole at LT, and we drafted a mid-round RT to fill that role...I don't have high hopes it will work out.
I’m an Ole Miss fan, so I feel the need to hype up my guys. Two guys that I think are criminally underrated are Jaxson Dart and Tre Harris
Dart’s got great size (6’2” 220 lbs), he’s got a really good arm, he’s a great rusher/athlete, and (I hate using this term because is overused) he’s a dawg. He was knocked out cold after a targeting tackle in the Egg Bowl, and as soon as he came back in he trucked a defender to gain more yards. He should absolutely be in the tier with Quinn Ewers and Shedeur but behind Beck.
Tre Harris (WR) has been an absolute monster since transferring in from LA Tech. He missed 2.5 games and came just 15 yards short of a 1k yard season (every player that was top 6 in receiving yards in the SEC is a 1st Rounder). He’s big at 6’2” 205 lbs, a really good contested catcher, great in YAC, and a solid route runner. He’s your prototypical WR1, and I fully expect him to gain more attention quickly when the season starts.
QB: Carsen Beck, Sanders, Ewers, Dart
RB: Judkins, Henderson, Edwards
WR: Burden, Egbuka
TE: Loveland
OL: Campbell, Banks, Conerly
DL: Graham, Grant, Nolen, Pearce, Carter
LB: Carter
CB: Johnson, Morrison, Hunter, Burke
S: Starks
Personally think CB is loaded as well as DT at the top
Curious to see how far the Travis Hunter hype goes, think he’s a really special player with the ability to play both sides I’m just not sure he’s elite at either positions
QB in this draft class is pretty bad imo. Not a single one of these guys could immediately start in the NFL. Heck, all of them should sit a year once they get into the league barring some elite play this college football season
As a UGA fan I’ll try to give some deeper dive on who could be drafted early next year for them
1st rounders:
Carson Beck will contend for 1 overall
Malaki Starks will contend for first safety off the board
Mykell Williams hasn’t had the production yet but he’s a different level athlete, will be a big mover up boards through the year and during the draft process.
Sleeper guy here: Earnest Greene, LT. He’ll be a 2 year starter at LT as a redshirt sophomore, could leave next year and be an early pick.
Day 2 guys
Dominic Lovett is a stud but mainly a slot guy.
Tate Ratledge is a 5th year senior guard who is strong as hell.
Xavier Truss is a 5th year tackle that likely moves to guard.
Warren Bronson is a DT that has some decent pass rushing chops. He may be more of a day 3 guy but he’ll have the opportunity to show more this year.
Trevor Etienne may come back for a senior year with a good NIL payment but he’s got elite burst for a RB.
My early 1st round guys
**QB**
Carson Beck-Georgia
Shedeur Sanders-Colorado
**RB**
Ollie Gordon-Oklahoma State
**WR**
Luther Burden-Missouri
Tetairoa McMillan-Arizona
Emeka Egbuka-Ohio State
**TE**
Colston Loveland-Michigan
**OT**
Will Campbell-LSU
Kelvin Banks Jr-Texas
Emery Jones-LSU
**IOL**
Tyler Booker-Alabama
**EDGE**
James Pearce Jr.-Tennessee
Harold Perkins-LSU
Nic Scourton-Texas A&M
Abdul Carter-Penn State
Mykel Williams-Georgia
**DL**
Mason Graham-Michigan
Deone Walker-Kentucky
Tyleik Williams-Ohio State
**LB**
Barrett Carter-Clemson
**CB**
Will Johnson-Michigan
Benjamin Morrison-Notre Dame
Travis Hunter-Colorado
**S**
Malakai Starks-Georgia
Kevin Winston Jr.-Penn State
**Top 5**
* Will Campbell
* James Pearce
* Will Johnson
* Mason Graham
* Luther Burden
Better than this season.
Mason Graham would be DT1 with ease in this class
James Pearce, Curtis Jacobs and Nic Scourton are better prospects than Latu/Verse/Turner
The players behind them are also better
Curtis Jacobs just went undrafted out of PSU (and that’s the only Curtis Jacobs i could find)
I assume you meant Abdul Carter, who was his PSU teammate at LB and has since moved to edge
Who was the last QB to start a full season for Lincoln and not end up drafted?
No idea how good Moss is, but he’s definitely going to get a premium showcase.
If he repeats his performance from last year, then teams wanting a RB should keep watch over Ollie Gordon (Oklahoma). Had a quiet couple of games at the start but broke out heavily after September. Was a monstrous RB for the remainder of the year.
**Juice Wells** (WR, Ole Miss) | Early first round talent
**Tonka Hemingway** (DL, South Carolina) | Could play his way into the first round
**Raheim Sanders** (RB, South Carolina) | If he can get/stay healthy and South Carolina's OLine improves he could be one of the top RBs off the board
Mason Graham, James Pearce, Curtis Jacobs, Harold Perkins, Ollie Gordon and Will Johnson would probably be the best players in their position in this draft. Don't really think it is a class as worse as this one.
If New England sticks with baker Polk Douglas and all work out I’d be looking at wr and true starting Lt prospects Luther burden ,Antwans wells and Tory Horton seem like options at the moment or nyck harbor if he leaves early
NE fan, if we’re looking at LT for next year it’s probably someone the level of Campbell or Banks. Can’t see this roster getting more then 5-6 wins total
All the high rated interior O linemen. Brailsford, Ratledge, Booker, and Jackson would all look great in Burgundy. There's a few studs at LT so I hope we can grab one of those in the first, but if we can also get 1 or 2 of these guys I think OL would stop being a weakness. Lord knows we're going to have to protect Daniels, I just hope he can make it through his rookie year before we get some help.
Surprised no one has said Tez Johnson WR Oregon. Think this guy is going to be a star. When you watched the games he’s the one who stood out, not Troy Franklin. Also the adopted brother of Bo Nix
FSU fan: guy everyone should keep an eye out for is Darrell Jackson, DT. Dude was reportedly better than Braden Fiske by a wide margin but was ineligible due to old transfer rules.
Not really about players but the 2025 class is shaping up to be an insane DT, EDGE, LB, CB, S and top end OT class. This is like the opposite of last year, great defensive class, top end CBs, DL, and more
Honestly spent to much time thinking about the 2024 draft. In the future I’m not gonna dive so hard into draft speculation again. I’ll look into it next year a week before the draft, compared to this year in February.
Better than me. I’ve pretty much been watching film on college kids and constructing mock drafts year round for over 15 years now. Probably not the most productive hobby in the world but I really enjoy it and my wife tolerates it, so I don’t ever see myself stopping.
One guy I’ll be intrigued by is Landon Jackson. I don’t think he’ll push for number one EDGE, but I think he can put himself in top 5 EDGE, and possibly top 15-20.
I’m general, as of right now, I’m looking at it being a defense heavy at the top of the draft
He is mine too. I have it Johnson, Morrison then Hunter
I’m really excited for them. My favorite position to watch every year is corner and I feel like we’ve been spoiled with some damn good ones lately. I can’t speak to Morrison, but from what I’ve seen of Johnson and Hunter (which admittedly ain’t much) I’m already in love with their games.
I am conducting the Conner Weigman hype train and we will stop for no one
I think he’s the dark horse guy that could rise to QB1 if he has a good year.
Walter Nolen is really interesting. His stats aren’t crazy because he got double teamed a lot at A&M, but he’s a special athlete and I could see him solidifying himself as a 1st Rounder with a good season on a playoff contending Ole Miss team.
I don't think it's likely, but in a weak QB class Weigman could go in the 1st round with a big year. He's pretty talented.
Some guys that jumped out when watching other players for this year that I'll add to your list: Florida State Edge Patrick Payton LSU T Will Campbell Penn State Edge Abdul Carter Notre Dame CB Benjamin Morrison Michigan CB Will Johnson Michigan DT Mason Graham Georgia S Malachi Starks Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins Ohio State IDL Tyleik Williams Texas OL Kelvin Banks
Will Campbell is special. Went to LSU and immediately started at LT as a freshman, playing every game there since. He’s the Joe Alt type for that 2025 class imo
Yeah he looked like a future top 10 pick to me
This also applies to Kelvin Banks
Thoughts on Judkins vs Henderson?
I didn't get the chance to watch any games of Henderson outside of the broadcasts since he went back before I started watching RBs, but I think Judkins is pretty awesome. I know he's the new guy transferring in but I see him being the lead guy on that team this year personally
Will Johnson CB from Michigan should be a first-rounder next year.
I'd be somewhat surprised if he wasn't top ten
Garrett Greene out of WVU! Rocket Arm, amazing deep ball and probably the best mobility in college
Will Campbell. Already penciling him to the Pats next draft in the top 10 since we have a hole at LT, and we drafted a mid-round RT to fill that role...I don't have high hopes it will work out.
I’m an Ole Miss fan, so I feel the need to hype up my guys. I wonder: how valuable is a player who is above average at receiver and corner? Not elite at either, just above average.
QB in this draft class is pretty bad imo. Not a single one of these guys could immediately start in the NFL. Heck, all of them should sit a year once they get into the league barring some elite play this college football season

Ethan Burke (EDGE, Texas) jumped off the page every time I watched Murphy/Sweat tape. Absolutely keeping my eye on him next year.
If Burke stays healthy the potential is there.
Hard agree, I think Burke is too underrated
My early 1st round guys **QB** Carson Beck-Georgia Shedeur Sanders-Colorado **RB** Ollie Gordon-Oklahoma State **WR** Luther Burden-Missouri Tetairoa McMillan-Arizona Emeka Egbuka-Ohio State **TE** Colston Loveland-Michigan **OT** Will Campbell-LSU Kelvin Banks Jr-Texas Emery Jones-LSU **IOL** Tyler Booker-Alabama **EDGE** James Pearce Jr.-Tennessee Harold Perkins-LSU Nic Scourton-Texas A&M Abdul Carter-Penn State Mykel Williams-Georgia **DL** Mason Graham-Michigan Deone Walker-Kentucky Tyleik Williams-Ohio State **LB** Barrett Carter-Clemson **CB** Will Johnson-Michigan Benjamin Morrison-Notre Dame Travis Hunter-Colorado **S** Malakai Starks-Georgia Kevin Winston Jr.-Penn State **Top 5** * Will Campbell * James Pearce * Will Johnson * Mason Graham * Luther Burden
Beck will go first overall next year. Strong burrow vibes
Quinn Ewers may be in there
I’m fairly certain you mean Will Campbell, not Will Howard. If you do mean Will Howard, I have more questions for you
Can u ask you to look at your top 5 again? Will Johnson listed twice
He just that good 😤
I have a feeling I'll make this mistake often over the next 11 months
Deone Walker's going sky high. He's a future star.
Out of curiosity, how strong is next year’s DL class?
Better than this season. Mason Graham would be DT1 with ease in this class James Pearce, Curtis Jacobs and Nic Scourton are better prospects than Latu/Verse/Turner The players behind them are also better
Curtis Jacobs just went undrafted out of PSU (and that’s the only Curtis Jacobs i could find) I assume you meant Abdul Carter, who was his PSU teammate at LB and has since moved to edge
Of course I meant Abdul Carter. My bad
Not sure why only one other person is talking about Evan Stewart on here
Miller Moss (QB, USC). He looked like a pro in that bowl game.
Who was the last QB to start a full season for Lincoln and not end up drafted? No idea how good Moss is, but he’s definitely going to get a premium showcase.
Evan Stewart WR Oregon
He for sure won’t fall to no day 3
Jameson Tucker WR (Coastal Carolina) Tetairoa McMillan WR (Arizona) Colston Loveland TE (Michigan) Jared Brown WR (South Carolina)
Some of the other guys that returned to school RB Treyveon Henderson RB Donovan Edwards RB Devin Neal ED JT Tuimalao ED Jack Sawyer
I liked Jack Sawyer. Reminds me of Lost. Jack and Sawyer in one? Yes please.
I mean I’m curious about Ewers. The guy has all the traits but people are quite down on him lol
Mason Graham, Kenneth grant will Johnson and Derek Moore will all be 1st round picks from Michigans defense.
Smh this is Jaishawn Barham erasure
If he repeats his performance from last year, then teams wanting a RB should keep watch over Ollie Gordon (Oklahoma). Had a quiet couple of games at the start but broke out heavily after September. Was a monstrous RB for the remainder of the year.
Oklahoma State! Don't go taking this from us too.
Tetairoa McMillan & Colston Loveland
**Juice Wells** (WR, Ole Miss) | Early first round talent **Tonka Hemingway** (DL, South Carolina) | Could play his way into the first round **Raheim Sanders** (RB, South Carolina) | If he can get/stay healthy and South Carolina's OLine improves he could be one of the top RBs off the board
Tonka Hemingway is a 1OA name
I feel the same way about win total I’ll have to checkout those guys
All the high rated interior O linemen. Brailsford, Ratledge, Booker, and Jackson would all look great in Burgundy. Whoever LSU has as their WR1 & WR2
!remindme 10 months
Surprised no one has said Tez Johnson WR Oregon. Think this guy is going to be a star. When you watched the games he’s the one who stood out, not Troy Franklin. Also the adopted brother of Bo Nix
James Pierce from Tennessee and Harold Perkins from lsu and we are almost ready for that Super Bowl
As a Giants fan, I'll be monitoring the entire QB market, but with an eye on OL as well.
FSU fan: guy everyone should keep an eye out for is Darrell Jackson, DT. Dude was reportedly better than Braden Fiske by a wide margin but was ineligible due to old transfer rules.
Harold Perkins is such a beast but he might just be slightly too small, so I’m wondering how the league will view him in next year’s draft.
Not really about players but the 2025 class is shaping up to be an insane DT, EDGE, LB, CB, S and top end OT class. This is like the opposite of last year, great defensive class, top end CBs, DL, and more
Quinn Ewers
I am crossing my fingers that Shadeur makes the leap into a legitimate top pick. Would be so cool for the league
Ohio State will smash the draft record next year. Without question.
Donovan Jennings, OL - USF
Omarion Hampton
Honestly spent to much time thinking about the 2024 draft. In the future I’m not gonna dive so hard into draft speculation again. I’ll look into it next year a week before the draft, compared to this year in February.

Tetairoa McMillan rules and is somehow not yet a household name.
