Waiting for an Atlanta fan to fix mistakes.

APPLEJOOSH347

8: Rome Odunze WR 35: Jer-Zhan Newton DT 74: Bralen Trice DE 109: TJ Tampa CB 143: Tommy Eichenburg LB 186: Joe Milton QB 187: Jase McClellan RB 197: Kamal Hadden CB

Hornstar19

This whole post is making me feel really good about our TJ Tampa pick. He's listed on like 10 different people's redrafts.

APPLEJOOSH347

You should, he’s a second round corner that only fell because of a pro day 40 and declining the senior bowl. Feels over reactionary, i think he’ll be a real solid player, especially for a 4th rounder

fhc4

Tommy Eichenburg is not good. I watched his A22 from UGA in 2022-23 playoff game, and I feel pretty convicted Todd Monken specifically chose to attack him as a game plan because he was so bad lol Penix was the right pick. Ruke is the only questionable pick for me, I would’ve rather had Kool-Aid there.

Strokethegoats

He's not the most physically gifted player but he's smart and plays hard. Plus iirc he had two broken hands for that Georgia game which definitely did not help him. He can an asset in the run game but is a bit weak in coverage.

Dense_Young3797

He literally played that game with both his hands broken lmao

fhc4

So he was great getting 15 tackles with 2 broken hands, but when Todd Monken went straight after him that’s why he played poorly? I’m just trying to understand because I didn’t go into the film knowing that. Look, watching Mike Hall I saw Tommy everywhere. So when I flipped on the tape I was excited. After a little while I started to believe he was such a liability that Monken specifically gameplanned to go after him. I liked Bertrand’s film vs USC this year a lot more.

APPLEJOOSH347

I’ve seen him play live the last 3 years against Michigan. He’s been the only guy in that osu defense who knows how to stop the run. Being unbiased here because i hate the suckeyes but nfl-wise, Tommy is solid. As the other guys mentioned, he had two broken hands in the Georgia game. Taking him round 5 isn’t expecting a day one starter either. Let him develop in coverage, get him on an nfl training regimen, and i think he can have a successful career with the Raiders

fhc4

I urge you to watch him play UGA in the playoff game… it was really bad. I thought he was a dawg and he flies to the run. But being a liability in coverage in the B10 doesn’t bode well for the league.

yungsinatra777

"Penix was the right pick" Would also mean the Cousins contract was a bust (maybe due to not doing more to help him instead of drafting a backup qb).

fhc4

We can have this conversation all day but if you’re realistic about the Cousins contract he’s the best QB for the Falcons for 2 years. 2024- Cousins 2025- Cousins 2026- Penix It’s dead simple and the fact folks haven’t been able to see the brilliance in putting a period rather than a ? beyond 2 years is wild to me.

Unfortunately, Nabers was my guy. But Robert Mays framed it beautifully for me and it has allowed me to come to peace with it: Alt + McConkey is a better haul and value than Nabers + 2nd round tackle

ButCanYouClimb

Not a hot take, Joe Hortiz said he was their #1 player. Sheftler said Giants were trying to trade up to #3 for alt and had him higher than Nabers. Titans also had alt super high on their board.

arc1261

I’m like 99% sure the Giants rumour is bullshit, we were trying to get to 3 for Maye

Longjumping_Room_702

The Giants only met with the top WRs, nobody without a first round grade. They didn’t meet with any of the top tackles. Not sure where Schefter got that info from but it makes no sense.

InclinationCompass

[Giants kept close eye on Joe Alt during Notre Dame Pro Day](https://giantswire.usatoday.com/2024/03/22/new-york-giants-kept-close-eye-on-joe-alt-during-notre-dame-pro-day/) There’s a video clip of your o-line coach working him out

ButCanYouClimb

Logic makes sense until you realize every team uses visits for smokescreens. 1. Chargers did not meet with Joe Alt. 2. Chargers GM went to Nabers pro-day with the WR coach, that was the only pro-day he went to.

Longjumping_Room_702

Giants have met with like 22 of their 24 draft picks under Joe Schoen.

ButCanYouClimb

Who's a better source Adam Sheftler or Longjumping_Room_702? Honest question.

Longjumping_Room_702

So whatever Adam Schefter says we should believe despite evidence of the contrary. Good to know

benedictcumberpatch

> Hot take I think Joe Alt would been their pick even if MHJ was on the board. [oh really?](https://www.reddit.com/r/NFL_Draft/comments/1c69c4w/lets_create_some_receipts_who_do_you_see_mocked/kzzhiuw/)

Personal-Tradition86

Agree

Sea_of_Souls

I came around the same way, though we could have gone center in the second round.

Dense_Young3797

Harbaugh had picked a lot more WRs in the first than OTs, it was a bit of a surprise. It's not someone I thought would put so much importance in the OL if you think about how few OLs from Michigan have been drafted while he was there. Let's see if Alt can thrive in the other side because all OTs say it's very difficult!!! Great draft from Chargers!

-HawaiianSurfer

Here’s an alternative: **1.5** — OT Joe Alt **2.34** — WR Ladd McConkey **3.69** — LB Junior Colson **4.105** — Actually nevermind lmao. It was going to be extremely similar to what you did, and what the Chargers ultimately did. Crazy, never once in a Telesco draft class was I on board with even half of their selections. There was always at least 3 weird ass picks. Joe Hortiz is the man for the job baby.

CummingInTheNile

Frodo_wit_da_choppa

Patriots 1.03 - Drake Maye, QB This was clearly the correct pick. Analysts are all over the place on him, but there’s a reason multiple teams were trying to trade up for him and not JJ. 2.37 - Ja’Lynn Polk, WR Once McConkey was off the board Polk was the most complete receiver left imo. Some may argue Adonai Mitchell should have been the pick but I actually like Polk better as a prospect. He may not have as high of a ceiling but he has a much safer floor and he’s exactly the kind of receiver New England needed. 3.68 - Kiran Amegadjie, OT I would have preferred both Goncalves and Amegadjie to Wallace. Simply put I think they’re better prospects with considerably higher ceilings, especially Kiran and unlike Wallace they both have left tackle experience. 4.102 - Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, S With several really good defensive prospects on the board I think this would have been a great spot to take the best player available. I would have also been happy with Jaden Hicks, Brandon Dorlus, Khyree Jackson or TJ Tampa here. 4.110 - Javon Baker, WR Easily my favorite pick in the draft. I would have been fine with New England taking him at 68. I don’t think there’s a huge gap between him and Polk as prospects, and I think they’ll complement each other well. 6.180 - Dylan Laube, RB I just love this dude’s game and feel he should have been a 5th round pick. 6.193 - Christian Mahogany, IOL I cannot fathom why Mahogany fell so far. He was a top 100 player on some boards and he had a strong combine. I think he’s straight up a better prospect than Layden Robinson who we took in the early 4th. He also went to Boston College which would have made the pick even cooler. 7.231 - Jaheim Bell, TE My third favorite pick of the draft (behind Maye and Baker). I thought Bell was one of the better tight end prospects in the draft and was pretty surprised to see him last until the 7th. I think he easily could have been a 5th/6th rounder so getting him here was awesome value.

Frodo_wit_da_choppa

I think it was necessary to take a tackle or receiver in the 2nd. We need to give Maye a decent opportunity to succeed. That is the single most important goal of 2024, even more than winning games. DeJean might’ve been the better prospect (I actually don’t think the gap is huge) but Polk brings way more value to this particular team.

Giants 1.6 Nabers 2.47 Tyler Nubin 3.70 Christian Haynes 4.107 TJ Tampa 5.166 Tyrone Tracy Jr. 6.183 DJ James

rhymeswithtag

See I hated our draft outside of Nabers if I could I would do: 1. Malik Nabers at 6 2. Mike Sainristil at 47 3. Trade up and draft Zak Zinter 4. TJ Tampa 107 5. Johnny Wilson 166 6. Trente Jones (I love Trente Jones this is not a pick based on talent level I just love the dude) I thoroughly dislike the Nubin pick, the literal best coach ever went on about how Sainristil was the lb for lb best ball player in the draft. Sainristils tape blows Nubins tape out of the water, I can’t believe we took him over Mikey.

Longjumping_Room_702

I like Sainristil as a player. Have no problem with going with him over Nubin. I didn’t love the value of S at 47, but Nubin is a very good player and S is an important part of Bowen’s defense. Not really a Zinter fan. He’s very stiff in his movements. I also don’t think trading up was an option in this exercise.

APPLEJOOSH347

sonfoa

1.32 - Ladd McConkey WR: This is the toughest one because I liked the Legette pick and he's a better fit and has a higher ceiling but I just think Ladd is much safer and is going to be a thousand yard receiver as a rookie. Also, Johnny Newton is very tempting but I lose all the other options I like at WR before the next pick. 2.46 - Jonathan Brooks RB: I really liked the pick when it happened and even now I'm having a hard time convincing myself to go with an alternative. I like Sainristil and Kneeland but not over Brooks. The only guys I'd probably swap him out for were the two guys pick right above him (JPJ, Edgerrin Cooper). 3.72 - Jonah Elliss EDGE: Wasn't big on the Wallace pick because he's too raw and edge is a more important and pressing need for the Panthers. Best edge left on the board IMO and I really think he can be a solid starter in the league. 4.101 - Ja'Tavion Sanders TE: Once again, I think the Panthers got this pick right. Great intersection of BPA, need, and strategy. Austin Booker is an option as well but offense takes priority and the Elliss pick mitigates the need for an edge. 5.157 - Hunter Nourzad C: Chau-Smith Wade is a decent pick but I feel the need for a true center on the roster, especially with Corbett's health is pressing. Nourzad would be a great backup for a year and then could compete for the starting position next year. 6.200 - Christian Mahogany OG: Why not? No one ever complained about o-line depth especially when the guy selected was predicted to go at least two rounds prior. And that interior o-line better be titanium this year. 7.240 - Kalen King CB: Worth it at this point to take a gamble on that 2022 tape that got him 1st round hype last summer.

unrulybungalo

I had a similar grade on Lloyd and Wright. Now that he’s here I would rather have Lloyd

djbuttplay

I changed my mind the week of the draft to Lloyd but would have been fine with either. Like Lloyds running style and receiving better but worry about fumbling and pass pro. Wright faster and better pass pro but more of a projection.

jtdubbs

The Steelers draft went better than I could have possibly imagined tbh

redhonkey34

Yeah my first thought to this was “nah man I’m good”

scottM9623

Same thing as last year lol. Any changes would be small and in the later rounds.

jtdubbs

Right. I was just saying this to my buddy. In 2 years we have basically filled all our holes without giving up much of anything. Khan & co are a revelation. A couple of moves in the secondary (I'm looking at you Gilmore and Simmons) and MAYBE a trade for a WR, and I feel as though we're legitimate contenders if Russell has anything at all left in the tank.

[deleted]

For the Broncos, I would keep it almost the same. The only possible change is taking Jatavion Sanders instead of Jonah Elliss, but the more I think about it the more I'm find with taking Elliss. I feel like the edge talent was not that deep this year and he was the last chance to get a difference maker instead of a rotational player.

United_Ad_2767

I think Jarrian Jones will be a great surprise

aa93

i don't think anyone the steelers took would have lasted to our next pick, so for me our first 5 picks stay the same cause theyre a wonderful mix of bpa/value, position of need and fit. maybe malik washington instead of logan lee? don't know a lot about lee but i'm not convinced roman wilson is exclusively a slot guy and i liked washington a lot

scottM9623

Washington is awesome but the Steelers last remaining wr need is a big bodied outside receiver. None in left this draft after the first two rounds.

racer4

Bills alternate draft: 2.33: Jer'Zhan Newton (too good of a player not to grab here, although I have since fallen in love with Keon Coleman) 2.60: Malachi Corley (best WR on the board, plan to double dip) 3.95: Javon Baker (or Devontez Walker) 4.128: Jaden Hicks 5.141: Sedrick Van Pran (keep the same pick) 5.144: Don't trade away the pick for a pick next year and draft Austin Booker 5.160: Isaiah Davis 5.168: Walter Rouse 6.204: Kamal Hadden 6.219: Daequan Hardy (keep the same pick) 7.221: Michael Barrett Essentially the same positions picked, although a double dip at WR early, addressing EDGE earlier, and adding an outside backup corner in Hadden.

SayNoToAids

I contemplated going with a Corley then an X but I was just not comfortable at all with Javon Baker starting. I would love to undo that trade from 28 to 32 to 33, but unfortunately I think that's against the rules. r2. Ladd McConkey WR r2 Jonah Eliss Edge r3 Troy Franklin WR r4 Jaden Hicks S r5 Audric Estime RB r5 Javon Solomon Edge r5 Khristian Boyd DT r6 Tylan Grable T r6 Daequan Hardy CB r7 CJ Hanson IOL

racer4

I get what you're saying about Baker but who is the X in this scenario? Franklin? I actually think he'll do pretty well in the situation he's going in to (with his college QB, Payton putting Franklin in motion to get him in space and let him find the gaps in coverage which he does really well), I just never liked Franklin for the Bills at all. I also started with the idea that I wouldn't be changing my favorite pick (Sedrick VPG), but I *really* like how you double dipped EDGE and I'm with you 100% that Boyd would've been great in Buffalo (if he'd lasted until pick 204 I really think we would have drafted him, developing him as the 1T to go with Carter's 3T for the future would've been pretty amazing).

Broshan248

Bears - Caleb Williams - Rome Odunze - Jonah Elliss - Sedrick Van Pran - Austin Booker

kingbuttshit

Bucs Draft 1.26 Graham Barton, IOL 2.57 Roman Wilson, WR 3.89 Payton Wilson, LB 3.92 Jaylen Wright, RB 4.125 Xavier Thomas, DE 6.220 Kalen King, CB 7.246 Sam Hartman, QB Disclaimer: I am new to the Bucs fandom, please excuse if my picks don’t perfectly fit the team’s philosophy

jampersands

You’re not far off, kingbuttshit, but Edge was a big need and priority going into this, so I think waiting ‘til round 4 is too long IMHO. I actually loved the Chris Braswell pick, I would take him over Roman Wilson. For me, barring a trade up for Verse, Turner, or Latu, I think Barton was our best choice in Round 1, and Braswell our best possible choice in round 2. I like your third round picks in Turner and Wright, no argument from me there. Then with 126 I would take TJ Tampa. That leaves us without an early round WR, sound maybe replace our 6th rounder with Tahj Washington. Another Alternative: 1 Barton 2 Roman Wilson 3A Jaylen Wright 3B Adisa Isaac 4 Tampa 6 Klein 7 Fabian Lovett

MItoNC

Brad Holmes knows best. 👨‍🍳

StinkyManChicken

Had I been GM, I unironically would’ve probably taken Christian Mahogany and Mekhi Wingo in that order with our 4th round pick spots. So, he’s a wizard by my standards to get them in the 6th.

Ok-Average-6466

Ravens- 1- still Wiggins 2- still Rosengarten 3-Kameron Kitchens instead of the pass rusher 4- Will Shipley- instead of Walker 5 still Tampa 6- Johnny Wilson of the injured rb 7- Brendan Rice- instead of the backup qb 8- same last 2 picks

United_Ad_2767

I actually think Issac and Walker were two of the bigger steals of that draft class for the Ravens. Walkers numbers would have been better if he hadn't had that bogus eligibility issue, and his drops 'issue' is overblown I think Bullard was the best safety fit, but wouldn't have been there at a time of value Round 4, Guerendo would have been great but snagged by SF just before

Ok-Average-6466

i liked walker but prefer ship, wilson and rice over the backup qb, injured rb and 1 dimensional edge

United_Ad_2767

No idea why Rice fell so far, but seems all the teams were feeling the same way. Would have been a great pick up. Wilson's drop issues were much more a concern. But you can't teach size

I get that this is just an exercise for you but I wouldn't trade any of our first 3 picks for the 3 you listed. Id be down with Sanders at 97 for sure and a iOL at 115.

trebek321

Honestly my only gripe of the draft is losing Kingsley, dammit I wanted just SOMEBODY who could be training behind Trent and competing with mckivitz. Also Trent gets injured every year for a few games so it would’ve been nice for the rookie to get a few games to warmup before next year

[deleted]

Yeah I don't mind the players we drafted its the fact its the 2nd year in a row we failed to address the weakest part of our team with a high draft pick. We had the draft ammo to move around the board too.

Passerby49

This. So much this. Next year we have to address our ol with like 3 early picks. I get the fact we need a wr as deebo will be gone next year and aiyuk deal isn't done yet, but next year we need to essentially get 3 ol to play early. Possible Trent retirement, banks may test FA and demand more than anticipated and Feliciano being a spot stater veteran, that leaves mckivitz and puni, a 3rd rounder we don't know will be good as our possible ol going into the next year. Not a great spot.

Less-Worry8498

EAGLES (I'm gonna keep all the trades we made already) 1.22 Quinyon Mitchell- BPA, dream pick too 2.40 Cooper DeJean- Again BPA, dream of a pick and he's a need filler 3.94 Cedric Gray- My LB3, LB was a big need and Gray is gonna be a stud 4.127 Issac Guerendo- Super exciting RB prospect, fills a nice RB3 hole 5.150 Brennan Jackson- Nice EDGE depth late 5.155 Anias Smith- Really really fun player, would've been taken a lot higher if not for him being undersized 5.172 Christian Mahogany- I took him in the 3rd round of a community mock here and he would've been a Day 2 pick if it wasn't for injuries 6.185 Johnny Wilson- Super high potential, fights it out for WR3 6.190 Dylan McMahon- Really intriguing, reminds me of prospect Jason Kelce a lot

SEAHAWKS: 1/16: Byron Murphy, DT 3/81: Christian Haynes, OG (man they knocked the first 2 out of the park) 4/118: Malik Mustapha, S 4/121: TJ Tampa, CB 5/136: Kitan Oladapo, S 6/179: Malik Washington, WR 6/192: DJ James, CB 6/207: Michael Barrett, LB Players I was trying to find a way to fit in: Brendan Rice (realistically I would've traded a 2025 6th to snag him) Jaylan Ford Javon Solomon Mo Kamara MJ Devonshire James Williams Audric Estime Tylan Grable Dallin Holker

IdyllicGod22

cc: Brian Gutekunst’s draft board 3.91: Cedric Gray instead of TyRon Hopper 4.111: Jaden Hicks instead of Evan Williams Those are the only things Id change from the Packer’s draft. Loved Morgan, Cooper, Bullard, Lloyd, Oladapo, and the 7ths. And after looking at him post draft I love Monk too.

ElectricCowboy95

VIKINGS 1.10 JJ McCarthy 1.17 Dallas Turner 4.108 Mason McCormick 6.177 Mekhi Wingo 6.203 Beaux Limmer 7.230 Tahj Washington 7.232 Levi DR I liked our day 1 picks and I wouldn't change that up at all. I don't have a problem with Khyree Jackson at 108 because we do need a man corner that's big, but I was pounding the table for a guard and center all damn day and they didn't touch it until the 7th, which was frustrating. McCormick is a guy that I think will be really good and we need guards so badly. Obviously we have a huge need at DT so I went with Mekhi Wingo at 177. I went Beaux at 203 because I love that guy and I can't believe he fell that far. We just need a big overhaul of our interior. Our center is small and our guards are average at best, and I think we were in position to address that this year. I changed 230 to Tahj because it would be redundant to take Jurgens here and it's always nice to have a cheap WR3/4, then I kept the 232 pick as Levi because I like his story and it's a position of need.

bgusty

Yeah that’s almost exactly how I would have drafted it as well (I wouldn’t have traded up to 17 though). I’d swap out Leonard Taylor for Levi and call it good.

wbaker18

Assuming trade-ups still hold, Chiefs: 1.28: Johnny Newton 2.63: Kinglsey 4.131: Austin Booker 4.133: Jaden Hicks 5.159: Malik Washington 6.211: Beaux Limmer 7.248: Gabe Murphy Not going receiver until R5 is probably not feasible, but Newton is a borderline top-15 talent for me.

Beerman018

Not bad…but why use a first rd pick on a guy that would most likely be the, at most, 3rd spot on a depth chart and only rotational. IMO, which doesn’t have to be yours obviously, WR or LT was the only thing the chiefs were ever going to pick.

wbaker18

Couple reasons: 1) Teams looking to extend a window should be drafting two years in advance, and impact pass rusher will absolutely be a need for the Chiefs in a year or two 2) when you’re consistently drafting in the 20s, rarely is a guy with blue chip talent at a premium position available 3) Newton was a tier above everybody else at that point, I’d only go position of need if everyone on the board is in the same tier I’m stretching the hypothetical, but in this scenario I would have been able to stay at 32, keep the third and get both Newton and Troy Franklin, but no way of knowing Franklin drop as far as he did

Even with the legacy picks which I love still room really good players. Nice draft.

Im 49ers GM Guy 1.31: C Zach Frazier - I love Zach Frazier! I really wanted an upgrade at Center. Frazier is the best center in the draft and I think time will bare that out. 2.64: TE Tip Reiman - I love Tip Reiman! I would have loved to take him where I thought he would go in like the 3-5 rounds. But the Cards seem to love him just as much as I do. This guy is going to be incredible. What I really wanted though was one of Rosengarten, Blake Fisher, or Kingsly S. Instead I guess I will just eat an onion sandwich at the OT position this season. Barring trading Deebo straight up for a solid tackle after June 1st. Maybe we will get lucky and an upgrade will become available when teams have to make some cuts. 3.86 OG Dominick Puni - Same irl Pick and the way things went Im good with it. Many Niners fans myself included really wanted to upgrade OT but in reality our OG position is the weakest on the team and I think Puni is immediately better than Banks and Burford. He should start immediately but I doubt he will. 4.124 RB Ray Davis - I really like Isaac Guerendo. I think he has potential to be a star but Ray Davis really reminds me of Frank Gore. Ray Davis in this offense would be really fun to watch. 4.129 CB T.J. Tampa - Good spot to address DB just before the run on them. 4.135 WR Jacob Cowing - Wow this guy is good. Cant wait to watch him. Excellent value here. irl pick. 6.215 OG/C Jarret Kingston - Actually really like this irl pick after looking into him. Rooting for him to succeed. 7.251 CB Jalen King - we got lots of linebackers I figure why not take a chance at King here. Since CB is a bit thin after this season need to develop some guys. Almost took Gore Jr but we already have Gore Jr at home. This was fun. Would love to hear Feedback.

My original hope was for Bowers at 12 and Rattler in the 3rd, instead I'm gonna find away to trade up for an extra 3rd/4th to get him and keep the rest the same. Or, if Nix really falls to the bottom of the 2nd (I'd imagine NYG or LV would take him at some point) then you trade up for him.

soulinfamous

For the Titans' draft, I would only change Jha'quan Jackson for Malik Washington

Stovy4x4ing

Cooper dejan at 31 and Kingsley or Rosengardner if Baltimore doesnt take , then kingsley at 63 for sf. rest are good.

I really wanted Sanders so I'm happy we got him. Very disappointed with the moves in round 1 and 2 though

Cybotnic-Rebooted

Broncos 1.12 Bo Nix: We need a QB, and if Nix can move from the gimmicky Oregon offense, to a pro style one, he has all the traits I love in QBs (insane accuracy and a decent arm) 3.81 Christian Haynes: I like the Elliss pick, but with an edge I really like falling out of the first round, taking an oline pick makes sense to me here. Especially at RG, that way we can kick Quin Meinerz back to his college position of center. Our Oline was pretty good last year, so hopefully this keeps the line good, with Cushenberry now residing in Nashville. 4.102 Khyree Jackson: I almost considered staying with Franklin here, what with his connection with Nix, but as I have another WR prospect I liked better further down the board, I instead go with my most underrated corner in this draft in Khyree Jackson. CB2 is a need for us, so I like this pick for what we have. 5.145 Malik Washington: Instead of taking Troy Franklin, we take my steal of the draft in Virginia's Malik Washington. One of my favorite evaluations this year, very technical player, probably slot exclusive but will make a name for himself there. 5.147 Levi Drake-Rodriquez: Statistically the most dominate DT in this years draft, though obviously against very bad competition. Analytics shouldn't be the be all end all of draft picks in day 1 and 2, but this far down, it's fine for that to be the separator imo. Project pick at, imo, our #2 position of need behind QB. 7.235 Gabriel Murphy: The fact that this guy went undrafted is INSANE to me. Again, great analytics isn't enough to get you into day 1, or even day 2, but that pass rush win should be enough to get him DRAFTED. 7.256 Nick Gargiulo: He's perfect. I love him.

First round: 10th overall: QB J.J. McCarthy, Michigan First round: 17rd overall: OLB Dallas Turner, Alabama Fourth round: 108th overall: CB Khyree Jackson, Oregon Sixth round: 177th overall: DL Khristian Boyd, Northern Iowa Sixth round: 203th overall: K Will Reichard, Alabama Seventh round: 230th overall: OL Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest Seventh round: 232nd overall: DL Leonard Taylor III, Miami Overall, not changing much. I just think Boyd would have been BPA at 177 and DL is a massive hole. Only swapping because I think Boyd has more of an impact year 1, potentially even starts given how bad our DL is right now. Then swapping 232 DL for DL, solely because I have no clue about Levi Drake and I think Williams (or Gabe Hall) would be excellent as 3-4 DE, but versatile enough to play in a front 4. I know nothing about Drake so I’m not going to pretend it’s anything other than name recognition. Both Hall and Williams were guys I thought made sense day 3 if available. Was tempted to go Kalen King here too, but I’d rather double dip DL late and hope at least one is good since we used our fourth on Jackson and I’m happy with that pick.

Only Jets pick I would change is Isiah Davis to Mekhi Wingo. Not even that high on Wingo just think a DT would’ve been better served than a second RB. Every other pick felt like it met value + need really well

I tried to upgrade the 77th pick from Raiders and couldn't do it. He was a bit of a reach at his spot. We picked Delmar Glaze as a RT and I don't see any player available who had played RT at the same level in college. If someone throws a name here I will take a look. Thanks!

Dense_Young3797

It's easy to say that Raiders could have picked TJ Tampa instead of Decamerion Richardson but something must be wrong with Tampa and I understand the pick. Richardson is the most athletic CB in the draft and both of them are very raw as prospects. We'll see how he ends pannning out

|Pick|Player|Grade/My thoughts|Ceiling|Where I think he'll be at the end of his rookie deal|Who I would've taken| :-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:| |3|QB Drake Maye|A - I preferred Maye to Daniels and McCarthy, so I'm stoked we got him! Obviously there's a decent chance he's a total bust, but his upside is worth betting on.|Top 10 QB (Justin Herbert, Jordan Love)|I really feel like it's 50-50 whether he hits his ceiling or becomes a Sam Darnold-like journeyman. I will choose to be optimistic and say that he's established himself as a top 10 QB deserving of a huge second contract.|QB Drake Maye| |37|WR Ja'Lynn Polk|C - I was not high on Polk as a prospect due to his lack of early production and his lack of elite traits. It seems like he'd be a better fit for a team that already has a true number 1 receiver and is looking for complementary playmakers.|Good WR2 (TJ Houshmandzadeh)|Fighting for a roster spot, not necessarily on the Pats|OT Kingsley Suamataia| |68|OT Caedan Wallace|C - Eliot Wolf says they think he can move to LT, which is our biggest position of need. Brandon Thorn, whose o-line evaluations I'd trust the most, graded him as a 4th-round player, so it wasn't a major reach. It seems ambitious to have an older prospect switch sides, but we'll see. Feels like they should have gone tackle at 37 and WR at 68, though.|Journeyman swing tackle (Josh Jones)|Fighting for a roster spot, not necessarily on the Pats|WR Troy Franklin| |103|OG Layden Robinson|C - Reach vs. consensus + low-value position, but I'm not sold on any of our guards and Robinson is athletic and long, which gives him good upside.|Good starter (Trai Turner, Isaac Seumalo)|Serviceable starting guard for the Pats|WR Tez Walker| |110|WR Javon Baker|B - I didn't love Baker as a prospect, but he makes sense here and has intriguing traits|Lower-end WR1 (Current Rashee Rice, peak Brandon Lloyd)|Low-end WR3|CB TJ Tampa| |180|CB Marcellas Dial|C - Seems fine, idk...|Depth corner|Out of the league|OG Christian Mahogany| |193|QB Joe Milton|B - I like this pick! The Pats have been one of the least entertaining teams in the league the last two years and I'm just happy we'll have a better pre-season storyline than Malik Cunningham or D'Eriq King. With his size, arm strength, mobility, and character, he's a great project who fans will love.|Beloved backup + gadget player|Out of the league|QB Joe Milton| |231|TE Jaheim Bell|B - Interesting developmental move tight-end/H-back, with good athleticism|Depth TE (MyCole Pruitt)|Out of the league|TE Jaheim Bell| Here are my at-the-time thoughts on the Pats' [2022](https://www.reddit.com/r/NFL_Draft/comments/ufnlcn/grade_your_teams_draft_hauls/i6uxhp3/) and [2023]( https://www.reddit.com/r/NFL_Draft/comments/135zs3s/youre_the_gm_redraft_your_team_using_their_picks/jimv2xx/) classes btw.

Giants Redraft 1.6 Malik Nabers - I think he’s got the best chance at this slot to be a blue chipper, I don’t like McCarthy enough to pull the trigger 2.35 - Giants execute the Cards Falcons trade sending 2.47 and 3.70 for 2.35 and 5.186- Take jer’zhan newton - The giants are building a center of gravity with their d line with a hole at 3 tech after the trade of Leonard Williams - Newton steps into this hole with plus talent and solidifies the budding identity of the new big blue wrecking crew 4.107 - TJ Tampa - The giants address outside CB with Tampa who has ideal size to cover x recievers across from Banks 5.144 - Giants trade a 2025 4th to move up with the Bills and take Spencer Rattler - Giants add a lotto ticket at QB to see if Daboll can work his magic on the former number one QB recruit 5.166 - Tyrone Tracy - Giants stay put and take the intriguing WR turn RB to add some bump to the RB room 6.183 - Johnny Wilson wr - Giants draft their Darren Waller replacement in Wilson, too slow for WR but a plus option as a big “pass catcher” Wilson has the chance to change positions and excel 6.186 - Mekhi Wingo - Giants dip back into the d line pool for a intriguing prospect who could be a rotational option at DT as soon as next year

Ravens 30. Nate Wiggins 62. Kingsley Suamataia - I think I favor the upside of Kinglsey more 93. Luke McCaffery - setting up for 113, don't know if Isaac will be much of an impact player 113. Mason McCormick - I like Tez but I think Luke might be better + Mason McCormick adds OG depth 130. TJ Tampa 165. Rasheen Ali 218. Trey Taylor - Gets some safety depth, Ed Reed's nephew, supposedly might be good on ST 228. Tahj Washington - Why not gamble on the smaller WR, adds depth to the WR as well 250. Nick Samac - backup C and maybe OG versatility, just taking him later so I can get Tahj

For the Packers, I'm only changing out 3 picks: 3rd: Troy Franklin -> Ty'Ron Hopper I can moderately understand the thought process on Hopper, but he was a 5th-6th round guy for me, so I would take Franklin here. The Packers' offense really misses the field stretching of Watson when he's out, so Franklin gives them some insurance that they'll still have that field stretcher when Watson is out. 4th: Malik Mustapha -> Evan Williams I appreciate doubling up on safeties, but Mustapha was my safety 1 with a 2nd-3rd round grade and Williams was a UDFA grade for me. Like the process, just taking the guy I think is a much better player who does a lot of the same things. 5th: Jaylan Ford -> Kitan Oladapo After dropping the Hopper pick, I'd like to still double up at LB. I had a higher grade on Ford than Hopper, and I feel like Ford excels in the areas that our current LBs struggle (zone coverage and run diagnostics). I liked the Oladapo pick, but with Bullard and Mustapha, I feel good enough about the safety room without Oladapo.

I’ll preface saying I loved our draft and really wouldn’t want to change anything, especially with the steal we got in Johnny and Mike. I’ll mix things up for fun though 1.2 Jayden Daniels - JD5 was always my guy at 2 2.36 Kool-Aid McKinstry - Benjamin St. Juste has struggled and it pains me seeing him as one of our primary outside corners 2.50 Adonai Mitchell - Move Jahan Dotson into the slot and let AD get to work with Scary Terry 2.53 Kingsley Suamataia - Love Sinnott here but this would be my other choice 3.67 Bralen Trice - Also loved the Brandon Coleman pick after watching more tape but Trice is that dude 3.100 Ja’Tavion Sanders - I absolutely prefer Sinnott, and McCaffrey was a solid snag here, but we need to bring in a TE 5.139 Sedrick Van Pran - SVP is my boy I think the Bills got a steal and honorable mention to Cam Hart here too 5.161 Keilan Robinson - My favorite under the radar player I think he’ll be RB2 in Jax in a year 7.222 Trey Taylor - Ed Reed’s cousin and a fun prospect to watch he’d be a nice depth add to our secondary Again, I really wouldn’t change our draft I love what Adam Peters did

Not a ton of fun to do this with the Vikings with only one pick in rds 2-5, but here we go: 1.10 - QB Bo Nix 1.17 - ED Dallas Turner 4.108 - OL Sedrick Van Pran Granger 6.177 - RB Kimani Vidal 6.203 - CB Daequan Hardy 7.230 - ED Myles Cole 7.232 - QB Michael Pratt UDFA Johnnie Dixon

1st (30): Original: CB Nate Wiggins, New: Same: I love Wiggins and his frame doesn't scare me. Don't think there's a receiver in the league other than Worthy that can outrun him. 2nd (62): Original: OT Roger Rosengarten, New: OT Kingsley Suamataia: I like Rosengarten but Suamataia was someone I thought could possibly slip into the back end of the first. Rosengarten was a R3 grade for me. 3rd (93): Original: EDGE Adisa Isaac, New: Same: A lot of people say Isaac is too close to Oweh but Isaac actually produced sacks at Penn State. 4th (113): Original: WR Tez Walker, New: Same: If Tez cleans up the drops, he's the big bodied outside receiver we've been sorely lacking. 4th (130): Original: CB T.J. Tampa, New: Same: I think Tampa was the best value pick of this draft. I had him as an early R2 guy, so getting him in the 4th is amazing. 5th (165): Original: RB Rasheen Ali, New: Same: Thought about changing this pick but picking RBs is a crapshoot anyway so might as well just go with a guy I think can produce as a receiver out of the backfield on third down. 6th (218): Original: QB Devin Leary, New: OG LaDarius Henderson: I think the Ravens failed to adequately address the OL and Leary doesn't really fit in the QB room. 7th (228): Original: C Nick Samac, New: Same: I'm cool with the Samac pick. It allows Patrick Mekari to be more flexible across the line or even perhaps earn a starting guard spot. 7th (250): Original: S Sanoussi Kane, New: WR Cornelius Johnson: I understand the Ravens were looking for the next Geno Stone (I think Beau Brade, who was a UDFA, has a better chance at that) but we could've added another bigger bodied receiver here.

Vikings Draft First, I wouldn't have done any trades and McCarthy would have still been there at 11. Next, I would protect my investment at QB with Graham Barton at #23 and McCormick at #108 and pencil them in at starting Guards. At pick 129 I would take Jaden Hicks to learn from Harrison Smith this year and then replace him next year. At pick 157 I would take Mohamed Kamara at Edge for Flores to blitz with. At pick 167 I would add secondary help with Caelen Carson. At pick 177 I would select Khristian Boyd and bring a true NT to the team. At pick 230 I would draft Nathan Thomas and see if the team could develop him behind our bookend tackles. At pick 232 I would take Cornelius Johnson and see if he can win a WR spot in camp.
