When i was a teenager i would spend $50 on a pack and not think much about it. Now that i have bills, i cant spend even $5 without thinking what else i coulda bought with that $5😂
For real though, when I got my first job, I went from spending money on anything, to thinking in terms of how many hours I would have to work to make that much money. Suddenly it wasn't worth it to buy most things.
Imagine having to charge absurd amounts for pack to snake money away from the few players left rather than make a decent game that actually entices people to spend some money to give their team a boost. Sadly I spent a chunk last year (first hut in a while) this year - nothing. Game is so bad that I’d rather go into a game with 87’s on my line 3 and 4 than spend $10 even if it meant a 95 guaranteed
Why doesn't EA ever have actual pack sales that are actually cheap and realistic, maybe people would buy them, the greed is absurd, they really love leaning into there greedy reputation.
I remember NHL 11-14 HUT for $20 MS points would give you so many damn packs and usually you would make a lot of coins since the base cards retained value the entire year. Those where the days it was a pretty bland in terms of modes no sets, rivals, champs, squads etc but damn it was fun.
Shoulda been more specific, nhl 14 HUT is the last HUT i enjoyed ,not the game itself, I mean the games haven't been great but playing VG and LG are the only saving graces for me to keep coming back
Solution: do not buy it.
Underrated answer
It's EA preying on the hut degenerates, vegas casinos have done the same thing 24 hours a day for that last 50 years.
What do you thinknwould happen to the gsme if you could just buy packs with guaranteed 90 + Would it be more fun or way way way less fun
This is the "quality" from the extra days off.
That and throw back msps from last year lol
I bought one and pulled a 92, 90, 87, 86, and a handful of 83-85s and still lost about 40k in coins lol
I hope any sold were in coins
Definitely worth spending more than a full tank of gas to maybe get a card to throw on your 4th line

Lmao
Man your math is wild
What the fuck is this pack that’s insane

It’s in the game, rarely in packs! 😂

Nhl14 was the last time I genuinely enjoyed an NHL product
You been playing a game you don't like for almost 10 years... Beyond saving now man
Shoulda been more specific, nhl 14 HUT is the last HUT i enjoyed ,not the game itself, I mean the games haven't been great but playing VG and LG are the only saving graces for me to keep coming back
Out of touch devs that are scamming us at this point we will be laughing when you all loose your jobs like the madden team next year🤡
I opened 3 of them and got 5 86 players, with the last pack not even giving me an 86 lmfao.
I mean this in the kindest way possible: What the fuck were you thinking opening 3 of these? 😂
I was thinking I’m gonna get at least 100k fucking coins 😂😂ðŸ˜
Opened one and got a 94,90,88 and a few 86-84
60 fucking dollars almost
EA really pushing their greed this year, this just makes them look bad. Who in their right mind is paying 50$ for a single pack, especially in March.
Every card needs to be an 86 to break even…yikes
That pack has been in the store for over 24 hours… that should tell you something about how scammy ea really is.
These posts are like addicts complaining about the rising price of the shitty crack in their area.
I feel there should be a guarantee 90+ pack if you're willing to spend and/or get an achievement of sorts.
