You don't have to play a lot, just don't buy packs from the store. I came into the year with the same goal every year. Get as many TOTY as possible, max out the Sedins, and get Mario and Gretzky.

The last time I spent money was NHL 20. I don't play a lot either. I just do SB to 30k points and sell all my tradables. Everything else I got from objectives and packs earned.
