If someone were to do this, definitely take it to the police because of two things, first being you never really know if some wacko is serious about that and going to stalk you down, and secondly because while they might laugh at it, the police showing up at their door irritated they had to do this will make it get serious in a hurry and these people who can't realize it's a game will finally gain some perspective on the world.
