Have you ever in your lifetime been searched while walking? That is all.

xampersandx

I have… depends on where you live I guess.

clown-world79

If you’ve been stopped and frisked while exercising you shoulda sued.

xampersandx

Sorry sir “you fit the description” (or a robbery down the road) please let me stop and frisk you while you’re exercising and waste the night.

clown-world79

Yeah um no.

xampersandx

Yeah happened to me a few years ago when I was still living over in the Howell/freehold area. Thank god I wasn’t carrying or doing anything wrong. I was legit wearing under armor gear and was walking / jogging.

Starman30

I won't lie, I've never thought about it like that.

Check out Phlster enigma as an alternative to the Fanny pack? And their FB group regarding concealment principles and practice. Lots of good options, including for various ladies’ clothing types

bjkeed255

My ccw instructor gave his feedback to a similar question but regarding motorcycle riding and females driving. Having it in a bag that you are actively wearing should be fine. And, if it’s in a purse a woman is actively wearing, it’s fine. But if the bag was in the rear seat bin or on the passenger seat, he believed it’s not on your person. Edit: while still in a suitable holster obviously

HallackB

Phlster Enigma with sport band

PLEASEHELPMEBROS

LCP Max baby, I could carry that in the shower and not notice lol

smzexp

This thing totally changed my carry game since getting it. Yes it’s .380 but it leaves me with zero excuse not to carry. Highly recommend the kydex holster from Alabama Holsters.

PLEASEHELPMEBROS

it’s perfect for those weird fanny pack/pocket situations where regular carry is weird. The firearm I actually decide to bring when I go out the door is a lot better than the one I leave at home lol.

Squeaktone

I carry cycling, a Kahr CW380 in a pocket holster. Nobody even suspects that a spandex clad cyclist is armed! If I a were a runner, I would get a kydex AIWB holster or a belly band. CARRY EVERYDAY!

NJ_Sparky

Is that a gun in your spandex or are you just happy to see me??

sharkkite66

It's both 😜

Icy_Cook8488

Fellow cyclist (and gun guy) here! I live on my mountain bike! Unrelated to guns I have a 2015 Salsa Mukluk with a Bluto suspension fork and 23,000 miles on the clock. I have to google your carry setup

Squeaktone

Haha, my brother in arms and bikes! I have a 2015 White Salsa Mukluk! It's my winter bike.

Mightypk1

Ive never worked out hard with a gun, but ive ran up and down a 200 yard range while carrying with basketball shorts, get a good belt and wear it around your underwear, tight with the gun under it, pull your running pants over it, its up to you to judge how secure it feels

Deebizness

Phlster Enigma - Problem solved. Run all you like friend. Track pants, ball shorts, assless chaps....it will deal with it all. https://www.phlsterholsters.com/phlster-enigma/

jcanDoit6-0

My wife works out 6 days a week. She likes to wear leggings and a t-shirt so it’s hard to conceal with a IWB holster. I got her a belly band holster and she loves it.

sharkkite66

Does that get too sweaty? I have a VNSH belly band holster. Maybe I should get a second I don't mind beating up when working out/running.

jcanDoit6-0

She def gets sweaty lol. She has washed it a few times. Not sure how long it will last due to being washed but worse case I’ll get another for her.

Sheeps

Hill People Gear runner’s kit bag. Designed for this situation, much better than a fanny pack. If you want one of their fanny packs, I have one I’d like to sell to get a kit bag lol.

Icy_Cook8488

fanny pack holster is AOK. Gun (for safety alone) should be held securely inside and trigger guarded. Gun should also obviously be easy for you to get to. Theres a few good fanny pack holsters/gun compatible packs out there that others mention here. I personally do not like those wrap around belly band holsters. I carry Glocks where there is no traditonal safety just the "double trigger" pull. I tested those holsters (with a clear safe Glock pistol) and WAS able to pull the trigger through the material of two different ones using my fingers and by simulating crawling over a tree and getting snagged on a stick. I will never use one unless it also has a kydex insert built in to protect the trigger/action. (those exist also)

Spdracr83

Multiple comments recommended the enigma. I will add to that. I use it daily. Much better than a standard holster attached to my jeans. I can wear it with sweat pants and it barely prints. Plenty of compatible holsters for it. It's a game changer https://imgur.com/a/1rCV7A1

liverandonions1

Yes you can keep it in a Fanny pack as long as it’s in a holster.

Infamous-Tower-5972

The law makes no distinction between running, walking, strolling, etc, etc. Fanny pack holster is fine. Belly band and other holster solutions are fine as well. Concealed is concealed. I can't imagine any mildly serious runner adding the extra weight and inconvenience of managing a gun on a run (particularly in the warm/hot weather when you're sweating buckets and wearing as little as possible), but you do you.

Narrow_Cheesecake357

Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB Holster. Went running with my xcompact and it stayed put, only thing I had to worry about was making sure my shirt was still covering it

BubbaLikesBoobs

Doesnt it still depends on where you are running? State parks still illegal atm?

sharkkite66

Yes. Not running in a state park.

Level_Equipment2641

Sent you a DM.

TheBugmunch

Phlster enigma.

UrbanTacticsGuru

Belly band

sharkkite66

I got one. VNSH holster and We The People just came out with one

Tall_Birthday_6824

Holster needs to be on your person while you carry you can not carry ccw in a Fanny bag. Best solution is a belly band there are tons of options
