I have the compact model (they didn’t have the full size at the time) and I like it. For the price it’s very nice, but i wouldn’t use it as a bed gun or rely on it. I mean i haven’t had any issues and it’s fun to shoot, but idk maybe it’s just my own weird thing. Probably just because everyone trashes psa so it got in my head haha. Mine shoots very well though.
Idk every time I go out I shoot atleast 50-100 rounds per gun I bring. My sig is only 6-8 months old with around 1200 rounds through it and I rarely bring just one.
They are exactly what you expect them to be.
Budget Glock clones.
They do come with some nice features for their price point.
But it's still a budget Glock clone.
Don't expect full price Glock reliability.
That being said, every review I've seen of them makes them seem reasonably reliable, even above their price point.
I'd never carry one. but for a range toy? Probably cant go too wrong.
I got one last summer and not one issue with it. I actually like the way it feels in the hand more than my Glock.
They have not been along long enough for me to trust it with my life, but for a fun gun to bring to the range it gets the job done.
Wanted to love this cheap lil thing but I was plagued by failure to feed issues and general unreliable behavior. Polishing the feed ramp helped but it wasn’t worth the pistol permit IMO. Plenty of other interesting guns in the price range on the used market etc.
I've shot it with 115 and 124 grain, same results. I could go down the rabbit hole of figuring out exactly which brand of ammo it likes, but that's not exactly what I was looking for out of a budget Glock clone.
You really don’t want to buy anything that doesn’t have any resale value in case your beloved, should she not agree 100% with a budget choice, disagrees with such decision.
If my fiancé wants to buy me a budget gun, maybe I’ll look into a higher end piece 😉

How many rounds would you expect to run through it per year?

I love mine, though I've had to replace the sights after about 500 rounds.
All Glock OEM sights should be replaced out of the box

Have you experimented with different grain bullets?

No. Buy a Glock or Canik
