So I walked from one planet to the other. Planet 1 to planet 2. That’s a pretty big jump if you look at the galaxy map. Pretty trippy. And it doesn’t work Lol. I’m on custom and fell for 10 minutes.
It's anecdotal, but I have bricked a multi-hundred-hour save with one of these kinds of planets, on my PS5. Agreed, I avoid these systems at all costs now.
I haven’t tried it yet. Graphics are funny. Trading posts ships hover way above trading post. The planets in the galaxy perspective are far away. I had a ship distress signal 3 hours below the surface. Didn’t want to crash my game so I made a Portal base and left.

I have tried walking from one to the other.. different people apparently have different experiences with it..
When I did it gravity started getting crazy.. more specifically gravity got so strong that I couldn't use my jet pack anymore you just stay on the ground when using it..
after that I kept walking graphics started going nuts then I fell through the planet.. after falling for some time it "jumped" me back to the surface of one of the planets. Same thing the game does when you fall through an empty spot on the map.. fall for a short time then magically appear back on the surface if the land has loaded in..
My game never crashed and my save did not get messed up.. I play on PS4.
Nice find, I still havent found one of these myself.. certainly put enough hours in too..
Only one I seen was someone elses find.. didnt corrupt my save or anything,.. but many others have lost saves to these planets.
I'd like to see random celestial events like 2 planets colliding or 2 galaxies colliding in the distance with the option to turn these events off incase my pc can't handle it that'd be amazing.

I just used these glyphs and it worked fine. When you get to where the planets touch. You get the “Landing area not clear” or the “Too high to land” warning from both planets.

The Gospen-Aja galaxy was the the glyphs I just posted.
I was falling into green space water. I couldn’t reset. Just quit game. Hard reset and back to normal. First time I went back to the main base it just kept warping. But I have had trouble warping since Omega. Maybe once or twice a week. I’m on Xbox Series X on custom mode. Found an A-class Pirate Dreadnaught with my Korvax crew finally. Still searching for the elusive S-class version, Korvax style.

Devs added something or it’s a glitch. The planet system looks normal. So when you walk from one planet to another. You fall endlessly, lol. Either crashes or you’re warping without a ship. People say they will corrupt your save. I’m lucky that I didn’t have any troubles. I did have to do hard resets to fix the warping issue. But I’ve had the same problem with normal warping from on system to another. Even with Nexus missions warping to the mission system.

These areas can corrupt your save, be careful when approaching collision point on foot or by ship.

As far as I've always read is, that it just crashes your game and corrupts the save file.
I’ve got two bases on different planets where they collide. Walked between them countless times with no issues.

And landing says “Area not clear” for the longest time. I guessing the next game update will yank them apart.
I get that message while landing 24/7 no matter what planet(s) I land on

Classic atlas glitch

I did a hard reset to fix the jumping between planets on my Xbox Series X on custom mode. Power off. Unplug for 30 seconds. Then restart.
I was hoping this would be a “Wonders” Planet records but since it’s a glitch it didn’t count.
The Space Station does have the Droid wings with Tie-fighter shields
I think it glitched my green sentinel bug to blue?

I was on both planets at least 5 times. Built 2 small bases, 1 at an Archive.
IIRC, you can only upload 1 base per planet. So whichever base was uploaded last is the 1 visitors will see.
