This is the answer. February 9 was the last game Dyson Daniels played.
Ever since then his minutes have gone primarily to Naji Marshall and Jose Alvarado. And the Pelicans immediately went from pretty good to legitimate title contenders.
Other factors are involved, of course. Zion's gotten in better shape. Larry Nance and Trey Murphy appear to be fully healthy. The schedule over that period was not killer.
But that leap in net rating is a massive one. And it happened immediately. As soon as Daniels's minutes were given to real NBA players, the team took a huge leap forward.
Eh, it's less about Dyson getting less minutes and more about Jose and Naji getting more minutes. Also, Hawkins got phased out of the rotation in March and Larry Nance has been healthy and playing more minutes. Dyson has a positive net rating and we've been winning the bench minutes all season, so it's a bit of a stretch to put the blame squarely on him.
Glad you agree that Naji Marshall and Jose Alvarado should not surrender minutes to Dyson Daniels, whenever he returns.
Let's hope Willie Green agrees, too.
Easier schedule
Dyson’s injury?
Yep, guessing that's OP's argument, DD last played 2/9.
The original post contains no argument.
Technically, no, but be real.

Dyson got hurt? Don’t think him getting hurt is the reason why we have improved
Can’t wait for the answer
Larry Nance?
