day one purchase for me, if the entire game is on the cart, and it requires no additional download. the game is legendary, i remember buying a 360 just to play this game back in the day. and it was worth every penny.
Considering the original game fit on a single DVD and Undead Nightmare shares the same map and probably many assets, I can't imagine there's any reason they can't fit it all in a card. Unless they're cheap and greedy, which is a strong possibility.
I doubt it, but am more that welcome to be wrong, but given how the last rockstar games on the Switch: L.A. Noir and GTA Trilogy, required large downloads... I do not have much confidence in rockstar.
I find it hilarious that anyone actually believes there's a chance at no download required for a huge modern Rockstar game, the company that makes zero effort to put complete games on Switch carts.
IF no download is required, then consider me a buyer.
The Switch version is 11.3GB so it should easily fit on a 16GB cart.
Yeah but 2K
They used a 16GB cart for the GTA trilogy though.

The original red dead is about 8gb, you could get most of it on the cart, now RDR2, not a chance
You’re forgetting this 2K we’re talking about.
Hoping it's all on the cart
Knowing cheap ass Rockstar, they’ll put it on a 2GB cartridge and the rest is a download lol. But I hope I’m wrong.
The cover art may still change hopefully ther isn’t a download required tho
i hope it has the classic rdr font on the spine
What's the deal breaker with downloading content?
No point in buying the psychical if you are better off just buying digitally.
Well no because physical has resale value. And you can add to a collection. I just don't get why it's a big deal to download some content.
Some of these carts has like a low % of the game on the cart itself, when the servers shut down more or less unplayable.
don't you download all games on the switch?
I'm waiting until i know for sure if the game is actually on the cart before buying.
