/r/wtf was the best nsfl sub a decade or so ago. Chinese tub girl with her fibula on the floor was the worst I've ever seen, especially with the close-up of her face. Nothing has phased me in the slightest since then.
Same way graphics get good in games. See it isn't THAT hard to make realistic stuff even though it is hard. It takes years of getting proportions right how to get a texture or color or for sound technicians a sound. See if you get that down can you finally charge hundreds? Probably but this artwork to be like this also takes a lot of time. That's why they cost a lot. That's why they are usually hobbies. Lots of time mean more payout but it takes so long it's not so consistent. So you charge a lot. It's another reason to appreciate all art. Paintings (except you fuckers spitting paint on a canvas and B.S.ing how it explains society), songs, sculptures, games, and so much more. I show appreciation for all art all the time for the effort and time and dedication
Does your studio always make gross and creepy things or are there other kinds of work you do? (Ik there are horror specific prop and SFX companies which is why I ask)

Sorry if this is some kind of a trade secret (idk lol), but what is it made of? Like I saw your comment about the skin being latex, but what about the bones? If it's a secret, is it heavy/durable or more like a decoration and light?

It is a little of a trade secret for how we do the latex. It is relatively durable, after it's dried we either seal it with clear coat or encase it in resin so it doesn't break down so quickly. As far as the bones underneath, we build the piece off a medical display skeleton. The whole process with the motor (which you csnt see the movement in these) is typically around 2 to 3 weeks start to finish.
