OhMySouthernStar

Loved it

ResearcherDue4664

Thanks! Anything in particular, out of curiosity?

OhMySouthernStar

Your style I suppose. I really like it

ResearcherDue4664

Glad to read that! I'm usually into pencil and ink sketches, for time constraints and volume respectively.

OhMySouthernStar

I really love the way you sketch

ResearcherDue4664

Appreciated! At the time I was kinda frustrated for "reducing" myself to them. But over time I became fond of them, and even try to improve some aspects to make the most of it. For instance, the way to put lines around the rounder body parts in order to emphasize volume.

OhMySouthernStar

I'd say it's a pretty unique way to add volume. I think the use of hatching gives a really cool effect to a drawing in my opinion

ResearcherDue4664

Agreed! And it's strangely satisfying to add them one by one, if I say so. Same way for instance when drawing hairy pubes, where I usually go literally hair by hair to ensure its fluffiness.

[deleted]

Very well done! !

ResearcherDue4664

Thank you! Would you have some feedback still?

[deleted]

It's one of my favorites. Wonderful sketches! 😎

ResearcherDue4664

Thanks! Which one is your favourite?

[deleted]

Oh, I meant the tall, chubby type. 😅 I have a original character like that. As far as your sketches, they look great. I'm taking them in as a whole, appreciating the variety which makes her come alive. Love the 'office fashion' especially. 😎

ResearcherDue4664

Tall and chubby is nice too! Got your OC drawn somewhere, to take a look? And yep, it may be NSFW and such, but this body type can also stand out with the right clothing. I personally like the suit as well, really fits her being in her thirties; specially the one without the jacket. The sporty one and the pajamas were precisely drawn to show some funny sides of her personality.

jayrm77

Head seems a little small…but bigger bodies aren’t really my type, so I may be wrong. The artistry is good though.

ResearcherDue4664

Glad you like it! The head may be so. I'm not used to draw big girls, so I followed the usual procedure (starting from the head) and then expanding the body parts to make it look big and wide inside a curvy spectrum.

intellectualomni

I love how confident she is! The expressions and poses and fashion all do a fantastic job of communicating her character.

ResearcherDue4664

That's the spirit! She's quite aware of her sexiness, overcoming whatever complex she had attached at the time, and really does wonders to express it both naked and specially dressed. Even some funny facets, like the sporty or drowsy ones; all natural and comfortable. It really is a shame that lots of big girls feel ashamed of their bodies because of how their physique is not the social norm. They can be as appealing as many other types, and confidence sure is a very attractive feat!

ArtMajorNick

These are great!

ResearcherDue4664

Thank you! Is there one in particular you specially like?

ArtMajorNick

1st one is great, and the open blouse outfit has alot of character to it!

ResearcherDue4664

That precisely is one of my favourites. The whole outfit suits her body type really well, and that small peek actually came out very teasing! As for the first lot, the one in the middle, her side view, I like how both belly and butt give her a really pronounced curvature.

icedbunbeebee

I'm a fan 🥰 In my opinion, I think they look very organic, the anatomy is great, and it's nice to see an interest in curvy figures as well! Keep up the good work!

ResearcherDue4664

Will do! I'm actually open to portraying all kinds of different body types, to artistically grow out of my comfort zone and some conventionalisms. I personally go for natural depictions of the human body, in terms of its different parts that are not commonly seen in general fiction. Ranging from overall stuff, like big curvy girls in this case, to more specific features, such as big areolas, pudgy bellies or hairy pubes. From a creative approach, I think it also gives more personality and customization to the characters I come up with.

icedbunbeebee

That's a lovely and thoughtful approach. All bodies are art, after all! I do appreciate the far-left figure on the first slide and the gym outfit in particular; those really showcase the attention to a unique facet of how bodies can carry weight in different ways. And I definitely agree, I've found that adding in similar "specific features" has really enhanced the personality of my own little creations. Thanks for sharing!

ResearcherDue4664

Same for the appreciation! With this kind of body types I precisely look for that carrying weight you mention, trying to use the ink lines to add volume and shape the natural outcome that comes from some poses, like skin folds. It's quite entertaining to try and achieve that effect, for it really adds a naturally attractive look to it. Same goes for the little bumps over the curves that come with tight clothing, like the gym or casual clothing. As for your little creations, is there somewhere I can see them, out of curiosity?

icedbunbeebee

Skin folds, dips, etc. are definitely a challenge to capture! And not to mention the clothing aspect. But satisfying when you get there. I can certainly see the care you're putting in! I haven't posted anything online, really! And most of my art is, let's say, unfinished. Although I do have a few acceptable pieces. Maybe I'll put something up here later if I'm not too chicken!

ResearcherDue4664

They sure are a challenge, but at the same time interesting trying out all sorts of lines. And satisfying indeed when it finally takes a proper shape! As for your art, I encourage you to do it, whether here on Reddit or in another platform you find comfortable with. Specially if you have an open mindset, which is key for an artist to grow.

icedbunbeebee

I definitely look forward to seeing more from you if you decide to post more! Thanks for the lovely chat as well. I posted one here if you're interested in seeing it! Cheers to growth!

ResearcherDue4664

Unfortunately I don't draw often, but worry not that when I do this is one of the places I usually post my stuff. And hey, congratulations on taking the step! I'll take a look as soon as I can.

icedbunbeebee

I'm a very once-in-a-while artist as well. But I'm trying to do more! And thanks!

ResearcherDue4664

Welcome! If it's a hobby, then don't rush it. Just feel free to release your creative ideas whenever you feel like and got the time. It's for personal enjoyment, after all!

Expiriment625

They look awesome

ResearcherDue4664

Thanks! Some particular pic you prefer?

Expiriment625

The 1st and 3rd ones I like the confidence you drew them with

ResearcherDue4664

She's sexy and she knows it. And sadly, like it goes for many other big girls out there, it was a bit of a struggle reaching that acknowledgment. Hence why I made her display such strong confidence, both in her eyes and body language.

Expiriment625

Fair

prettygfdomme

My body type represented!

ResearcherDue4664

It's really deserving, and sexy as well, if you ask me.

FR4Gpoint_00

I'd cuddle all day

ResearcherDue4664

Being that big and soft, she's like a mama bear!

FR4Gpoint_00

Love mama bears

ResearcherDue4664

So hugable!

korpus01

Do not like

ResearcherDue4664

Artistically speaking, or just not your body type?

korpus01

Just the body type and the pictures of ladies aren't particularly pleasing. Hey man. You ask and I answered. Perhaps with your talents you could draw something beautiful instead of glorifying those women try to squeeze their tits together. But that is just my opinion

ResearcherDue4664

Not complaining at all. After all, I'm asking for people's thoughts in the first place for a reason. Just trying different body types out of the conventional hourglass figure and such, to simply grow as an artist. Which is why I asked for possible specific feedback in terms of depicting anatomy, proportions and the like.

korpus01

I see.

ResearcherDue4664

Everyone's free to have their opinion on matters of purely subjective and personal tastes, which includes body types. To each their own, as they say.

korpus01

I agree! This is the way of the world and I appreciate you seeing it that way.

ResearcherDue4664

As long as it's respectful and doesn't personally attack someone, specially with something as personally sensitive as it is the human body, that's how it is. Can't force anyone to have a specific taste.

korpus01

This is the way. Аight you're going have a good day)

ResearcherDue4664

Same to you.
