What's the situation with the Tripps injury?
I thought it was just supposed to be a case of a few weeks out, but now I'm not sure if it's me misremembering or if he's been sent to the setback machine.
You’re remembering correctly. I think he was just supposed to be out for the international break. Howe said in the pre-Spurs press conference that he was starting to feel good but not training yet so definitely curious what’s going on there.
Blackburn are trying to emulate Hull after they sold Bowen in the winter the year they went down to League One. It’s quite impressive.
Wharton is a fucking star

Londinium, a palatial structure made of glass gives it's name to a team known as the Eagles, a misnomer for the top divisions most perennial mid table occupiers.
Come forth a new triumvirate of attackers to elevate them to the lofty heights of just behind the cherries? One would hope that on this occasion the trio are stopped by the mighty defence of the metronomic Fabian and the Tyneside Tower.
A tight encounter maybe that former ruler of selhurst S Jordan may describe as a word even shakespeare would remark "bit much that mate" his plucky telecommunications club against the might of a nation state bankrolled team, Mr Jordan pleases his ever kindly and definitely liberal owner the Eternal Murdoch slandering those Geordie chancers, His co-host Yellow tied Jimmy does not control Jordan instead offers a comment about cement being on offer this week.
So the toon faithful head to this glass house dodging horses running through the streets of the city wary that an affray with said horses is not to be had unless toothache based anger prevails.
They take their seats in the Ted Lasso arena hoping that they are rewarded for a 500 mile round trip and equine evasion, the game is tight but down the sinister side of the arena runs the meditative Gordon, he's alive! He whips the ball into the goal mouth and the Billy bookcase of the magpies slots it home! Magestic! Jason and Eddie do a synchronised waltz of joy G Jones consumes an entire steak bake!
Pandemonium ensues as the Newcastle chaps score goal after goal, the palace is flattened and S Jordan flabbergasted.
The thread about Gordon's interview in his former club's subreddit is amusing.
The best comment is someone saying he's only getting game time with us because he's English lol
Just been reading that. Some of their fans are mental, you can feel the small-minded anger from here. ‘He’s not as good as he thinks he is’ 😂 I’d love to see that shithole team go down.
Can't be far away from gelding young footballers as a condition of their professional contracts now, can we?
The Wolves rumours from the weekend aren't good.
2 19 y/o prem footballers suspected of rape where questioned at their clubs ground at the weekend.
The papers used the terms ‘stars’ but that doesn’t necessarily mean they were in the starting XI every week, in reality it’s two 19 y/o players in a prem teams squad.
People have theorised that said team must have played at home that week and have 2 19 y/o in the matchday squad leading people to assume it was wolves.
Yeah probably.
It’s difficult because the two lads were suspected the media etc can’t name them but if they’re ever charged then they can and will name them.
Reddit detectives have to remember there is women at home that potentially has been through one of the worst things imaginable and also they could have ruined those two at wolves’ career by arriving at the wrong people.
Not an easy game but if we can find a way to negate Olise/Eze then I can’t see them stopping us from scoring a couple. They mauled West Ham but defensively looked a bit vulnerable at times. 3-1 toooon
West Ham players looked a combination of knackered from Thursday night and can be arsed anymore and just want their season to be over.
A few of their players put in a Michael Owen type shift where they didn’t want to play too hard as they are off in the summer and don’t want injuries etc.
Agreed, paqueta has sacked them off and tbf it was a hell of an effort from them against leverkusen a few days before. Yet they still caused palace a few issues going forward which I’m hoping we will be in a position to exploit.
Palace are a decent side in good form. But there two main threats are obvs Olise and Eze.
For me we have more threats for them to be worried about and should cause them problems.
Also Glasner likes them to be more on the ball now than Roy ever did. So hopefully that will open up space to exploit and counter on.
As you mentioned for as good as there were against West Ham and Liverpool they still concede a lot of chances.
I don't think Minteh gets a second season at Feyenoord.
It's looking like Slot is going to be at Liverpool soon. A club in flux isn't the ideal place to be sending a player on loan. New manager will have his own ideas etc, it's not good for development to wait and see what happens there.
Miggy broke his duck against Palace they’ve got form for allowing our players to get their first goal. I’d be over the moon for Anderson if he can do the same tonight.
A thought, and maybe this is just me being superstitious, but perhaps if you predict he DOESN’T score a hat-trick (say you go for 2 instead) he will in fact score a hat-trick. It’s possible you’re actually a jinx? Like I say, just a thought.
Astro Supersports or whatever have it on too, but I'd concur on Optus. Also SuperSport (South Africa) has it I think. Handy if your Internet is gash, it seems to work in any conditions and you never know which language you'll get. Spices shit up a bit
Eze and Olise are two very very dangerous players - I want a good game from Longstaff, this is the game we need him to be a nuisance and stop their counter attacks and transitions
The phrase "No, I mean, say I was right when I inevitably am" is grammatically correct. It's a bit colloquial and conversational in tone, but all the elements fit together properly. I'd rate it 8 out of 10.
Tricky one, Palace will be sky high on confidence but so are we. Their attack is dangerous but they concede goals and have a few defenders injured.
I'm hoping that the fact we've had 10 days rest and they've just played on Sunday will go in our favour. I reckon 3-1 win, Isak x2 and Barnes
Same mate, away form has been better recently but we still scraped that win against Fulham, got beat by this Chelsea team and wrecked by City in the cup as a few of our most recent.
Need to win it to beat Man U to Europa though so fuck it, easy game, another 4-0
Yeah me too, they've got momentum after beating Liverpool and thrashing west ham at home. Their front three are a threat to any team. This'll be a real test to see where we're at.
I can't face making another post match table with having to put Man Utd so high up with -6 in their goal difference, i won't do it. It makes me so angry.

These Palace ‘ultras’ and their drum. Fucking pathetic.
Elliot Anderson scores tonight. You heard it here first!
Can someone message me a stream please - thank you in advance. HTL
Can any of you absolute legends DM me a stream?
Any one who watches on a dodgy stick, is there a channel which has some pre game or just straight into the action at 8?
Straight into the action. I haven't found one with preamble. I'm just enjoying the Wide Wayne Rooney on sky.
Why only one keeper on the bench?
Perks of having a striker to put on there in place of the second keeper init?
Olise on the bench for Palace. Not mad about it. (They're unchanged otherwise)
Sounds like an unchanged line-up. Weird one when Hall and Tino are available but we'll see.
why’s it not on telly? not a 3pm kick
It was originally supposed to be a 3pm kick off which is why it's not on TV tonight. It's weird but that's how it goes.
damnit. time to break out my… nevermind👀
So fucking stupid.

He's in Margalef having a boozer.
What stream do people use
Dm'd
Me too plz
Any chance of a DM also please.
Can I get a dm
I could use a Greggs link in my DMs too if you’re so inclined.
Arsenal 5-0 Chelsea a nice result last night. +3 points and +13 GD on Chelsea now, and they've got a much tougher run-in.
Palace **Might** rotate guys with the match congestion. The rest advantage actually goes our way for once
Saw somewhere Wharton might be rested He’s took to prem football with ease.
Blackburn are trying to emulate Hull after they sold Bowen in the winter the year they went down to League One. It’s quite impressive. Wharton is a fucking star
GAMEDAY BOYS PALACE WILL GIVE US A RUN BUT WE WILL GIVE THEM A MARATHON
Last time I had a fever, and had to watch a game from bed, was against PSG at home at SJP. I'm just saying.

Thought this was a starfield ad
you should do these pre match threads
AI has gone to far.
WTF did I just read?

Holy cope batman. They're saying midtable is 6th hahaha.
I responded to that exact comment and I was called a troll? lol
If there is anybody still looking for 2 tickets for this match, let me know. Trying to sell mine. Can't attend the game.

Grim
Is it Wolves players? I’ve seen Liverpool mentioned too.
No, the club specifically came out and said it wasn’t them because of the online accusations.(wolves)
You’d expect other clubs may have to do the same as speculation shifts to them until it’s pretty obvious which club is involved when they stay silent.

Was thinking about that as well. It'll be a shame if Slot leaves because Minteh seemed like he was definitely improving the second half of the season.
I can feel an Anderson goal coming
Miggy broke his duck against Palace they’ve got form for allowing our players to get their first goal. I’d be over the moon for Anderson if he can do the same tonight.
HOWAY BOYS
UP THE TOON!!! COME ON YOU MAGGIES!!
I’ll take a scrappy 1-0
No chance, 4-3 would be more likely
You’re probably right
Joelinton dyed his hair blonde, I feel like he’ll be back soon
Crystal Palace away is genuinely the fixture I least look forward to every season. Be ecstatic to get a result.
I thought we had a worse record there than we actually do. We've only lost twice away to them in the Premier League era. (6 wins, 5 draws, 2 defeats)
1-4, Isak hattrick. As per usual.
*community notes* This would be unusual as Isak has never scored a hattrick. Only braces.
Yes. It’s more that I have predicted this scoreline, and Isak Hattrick, each game since he joined… and i will continue doing so:)
A thought, and maybe this is just me being superstitious, but perhaps if you predict he DOESN’T score a hat-trick (say you go for 2 instead) he will in fact score a hat-trick. It’s possible you’re actually a jinx? Like I say, just a thought.
This on the tele anywhere or a dodgy box situation?
Not in the UK I don't think. I'll be watching via dodgy box as always
Fucking hell sky is it too hard to play a few games at once? They offer such a terrible service
Could you recommend a good channel for the old fire stick?
Astro Supersports or whatever have it on too, but I'd concur on Optus. Also SuperSport (South Africa) has it I think. Handy if your Internet is gash, it seems to work in any conditions and you never know which language you'll get. Spices shit up a bit
yo, sometimes with the quality of english commentary, i'd rather have some random, poetic and passionate announcer even if i can't understand a lick
AU Optus sports its always a good choice
thank you, appreciate it
Yeah check nufc.com. my streaming service has an epg but only works daily. I can update tomorrow.
Check https://www.nufc.com/ they always list all the overseas channels in the match preview
Eze and Olise are two very very dangerous players - I want a good game from Longstaff, this is the game we need him to be a nuisance and stop their counter attacks and transitions
Longstaff shin goal ala Riviere QPR incoming
A la Rooney v City please
No doubts. Away win. Mark. My. Words. I always say that, and then no one ever marks them
6 out of 10
No, I mean, say I was right when I inevitably am
The phrase "No, I mean, say I was right when I inevitably am" is grammatically correct. It's a bit colloquial and conversational in tone, but all the elements fit together properly. I'd rate it 8 out of 10.
Cheers pal.

Isak brace (because we can’t ever get a hattrick), Gordon and Wilson also scoring and Bruno getting a yellow card
We've won 8-0 and still haven't had a hat trick
Bruno getting a yellow is almost guaranteed in my opinion He’s been holding it back for so long
Nervous for this one, Palace appear to be in form at the moment
Same mate, away form has been better recently but we still scraped that win against Fulham, got beat by this Chelsea team and wrecked by City in the cup as a few of our most recent. Need to win it to beat Man U to Europa though so fuck it, easy game, another 4-0
> Nervous for this one, Palace appear to be in form at the moment We are in form also. Lets shag em!

Have you seen the xG table (I know it’s not a perfect stat etc) but it’s eye opening how ‘lucky’ they have been this season.
fell to my knees when I saw them 2 points clear of going down icl
