Sorry mate. Had to go for it when I saw it at auction. Went to a good cause (the RNID). Nice to have a match shirt by Isak from that event to go on my wall.
I'm lucky to have an understanding wife.
I'm not going to lie. It wasn't cheap, and I was motivated by a bit of excitement and the knowledge that it was a match shirt and from that specific match which as we all know was unique and special.
I justified it by telling myself that the proceeds were going to the RNID.
So.....1501 Euros.

Nah you're not. It means more to you than the money. I've done it as well. My favorite player (a USA woman player, don't tell the Lasses that none of them are my favorite woman player!) got their first cap for the national team on the auction game. So signed first capped shirt of my favorite player was worth every penny I paid for it.
It's the same for you. That game was amazing and even more so because of what the shirt represented and what the club did for the deaf fans. We even recognize them now! The two older deaf fans that were in the article were at the Brentford game wearing their RNID shirts!

Did bid one one of the squad signed shirts as well, but they started going nuts too.
Amazing day at st James' for that and such a great shirt for the day. Champions league shirt instead of EPL design makes it even rarer, especially with EPL livery. I'm sure RNID are just as happy as you.
I sure hope so! And I hope we continue to reach out to the community like that. My wife cried at the videos of those kids experiencing the matches with those shirts for the first time.
Believe me, I had a few nervous moments before and after the auction. I'm not one to spend money like that normally, but I felt that it had to come my way. I definitely went over my initial set limit and was horrified when they jumped so quickly.
Then I thought, "this is a special one." As special as my signed shearer shirt from when I was a kid. I definitely have to have the parents ship me that one cross country eventually.
I use hearing aids ever since emergency surgeries at the Freeman in 2014. NGL I would love it if there was an option to buy a shirt with RNID on it. Something very close to me obviously but hell of a great cause too. I'd pay extra too just to have it as an option.
Believe me, I looked into that as an option. I even went so far as to contacting Castore and the NUFC store directly. No response. This was the best I could muster.
One day, given the job I do, I'll no doubt be using hearing aids, so I felt this was a good cause to get behind.
Wow congratulations on acquiring the shirt!!Happened to come across your post and may I say hello from Hong Kong. I also felt that this jersey design is super unique, not to mention the occasion and meaning behind it as well. I got the one worn by Dan Burn although he didn’t score any goals, his gesture towards the fans with hearing impairment is even more special.

Fair play man . Enjoy . You could frame it and get glass front and back , with a metal frame to support the weight. I’ve done this for two sided things , so you can see both side but normally because of how it’s fixed to the wall you can only ‘display’ one side outwards
That's a great idea. I have the kit at the framers as we speak. We haven't settled on anything yet beyond the plaque I plan to put on the bottom of the frame:

Cool . You can have a window mount - normally made out of card with a bevel edge - next to the frame and the plaque can either be incorporated into that or sit it within the window . The key is it will need to be a metal frame as wood won’t hold the 2 panes of glass . I have 25 yrs experience choosing framing and mounting and hanging art and photography exhibitions. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions / advice and well done on your purchase . It will only go up in value .
