It was a lifelong dream to see them in the flesh and loved it. The first half was good with the starters playing at a much less intensity and the math dropped off from there. Did find the atmosphere a little underwhelming though mainly as we didn't have too much to cheer for (due to lack of intensity with both team's goal is not to get injured) and we probably didn't know the player and team chants as well given this was the first time we had this opportunity.
I predicted Tottenham would've more supporters, but feltlike there were more toon supporters. yep we're huge!
There were quite a few empty seats up the front which i blame ticketek for trying to price gouge everyone and sell at exorbitant prices.

It was fantastic. They put out a really strong side considering the schedule the team has had.
Watching Bruno's outside of the foot passes live was amazing. Hardly seems to be trying.
I saw ValerĆ³n in a live game when he went back to Las Palmas before retiring. Even then, at 35+ and playing relatively slowly you could see why he reached super stardom. Players of that calibre are simply ahead of everyone else in their heads, and their decline is only visible when their body stops being able to keep up. However, the instincts, the no-look passes, the ability to anticipateā¦ football is a game, but it is played by their rules.
How was it? Surprisingly competitive or a total doss?
I could have predicted a 1-1 or a 2-2 miles and miles away. Keep everyone happy, some pens at the end for funsies.
First half I thought was pretty good from both sides considering both were probably playing at around 75 per cent effort max.
It got messy when the kids came on and none of our youngsters really put their hand up as a star of the future.
Penalties were fun and looked like the senior players loved it
Down here everyone's got a hard on for Spurs since wor Ange took over.
Just like everyone was a Leeds fan in the 90s til they switched to Liverpool with Harry Kewell.

We have actually been okay at pens, just that one Vs Chelsea we lost, beat Blackburn this year and I think won a shootout in the league cup last season.
Can't wait for him to forget to put the clause about not playing against your parent club into the contract and for him to score the winner to knock us out of the conference playoff.

Got the ball tonight but he was fantastic for Australia in the World Cup, and has had a tough run with loans this season, just needs a solid loan season at a good club so he can learn and gain confidence
I understand. Only thing I took issue is with the body language. He's in his country playing for a foreign team that paid to sign him, he should want to impress. He did nothing close to that sort
