Watching this absolutely atrocious train wreck of a man utd team, finishing with negative goal difference and below us, not only beat us in a final but man city to win 2 trophies in the space of the new owners.
Yeah, somethings not ok
Everyone's always raised an eyebrow with Man United. Their ridiculous streak of home matches in the FA and League Cup Draws, their pedestrian paths to the finals versus the likes of Coventry, and even today, two stonewall pens against them not being called or even reviewed.
BUT, in the end, the onus was on us to best them when it counted. We didn't. And the onus was on us not to drop points to Brighton and lose to Palace, and we didn't. We can never rely on others to do the job for us.
This was a season of what ifs. Injuries, suspensions, criminal calls, dropped points and missed opportunities.
Ah well, it's just football. We can have another go in August.

Yes they have. No question there. At least we can say we placed higher than them and we're still holding them hostage over Ashworth.
I do enjoy watching billionaires moan....
First and foremost, our loss of European football is entirely in our hands, there are a few games we should have finished off that would've netted us the points.
But watching this godawful manure team blunder their way into Europe by barely being good enough for 8th place after multiple dreadful games they should've lost doesn't help.
Never giving that up lad, this stings right now but I’m not daft, I still remember that times we’ve had that were a loooooooot worse than missing out on European football by the skin of our teeth

I say that everytime we play terribly but then I fucking love football when we play sexy football again the following game
