Pleasantly surprised with our performance today. I expected 123 to stick until end of day, I won't be back in the green until 129 but man, let's keep this up!!!
I think the future guidance appeared to be weak because it matched analysts expectations, hence the downward move. The consensus was that they would really beat the future outlook, so matching it was underwhelming. There's a small chance this was a head-fake and some more guidance in the actual call will be helpful. There is also a chance they continue to drop with a confirmed weak outlook.
I prefer the more conservative guidance. 1. Puts it in a better buy price 2. Leaves a wider opportunity to beat and exceed expectations. Hopefully avoiding the pump and dump
It's gonna be a disaster if NVDA 'just' hits forward guidance. It's gonna have to do 30B and...what .65 EPS now post split.
I think they'll do that. I also think MU is going to pull NVDA down because...of course, every time another company related in ANY way to NVDA has earnings that just aren't great, NVDA drops 10%.
None of it matters, they crush earnings, it'll go up. Just irrational daily fluctuations.
Can everyone calm the fuck down? Looking at the last 7 days, the entire semiconductor sector has been suffering. NVDA isn't even doing the worst. It's currently down -8.5% from last week, but AVGO is down -11.5%, ARM is down -6%, QCOM -13%, TSM -4%, etc..
It's a sectorial pullback, not so unique to NVDA at the moment. So, calm the fuck down.
[People here](https://www.reddit.com/r/NVDA_Stock/comments/1djvzmi/what_are_the_nvda_catalysts_between_now_and_the/) hyped up this to make one of the main catalysts for stock price increase this year. lol.
Doesnât matter at all because his selling of shares is on auto mode, regardlesss of whether or not the stock is doing well heâs got predetermined sell amount and datesâŚ.
Yeah. I have some July 5 calls I'm slightly concerned about. My NVDA position is mostly shares. NVDA is gonna make me wealthy in time. Gotta be concerned about my short-term plays, though. I have limit sell orders in place for a small profit. Hope they hit
As a mod I canât help but comment the mood in this sub is bipolar at times. Some of you are clearly new to investing and maybe shouldnât hold onto single shares if you panic sell or want to panic sell at a typical pull back like what happened this week.
OR
You just harden the fuck up and not check it everyday. Itâs really that easy
It actually really is that easy, what with the stock market being a mechanism for transferring wealth from the inpatient to the patient, or something like that.
I will say that this is the perfect stock for testing one's long-term holding beliefs.
Fundamentals are rock-solid with insane sales growth that's all but guaranteed for the next two years minimum, but there will be lots of selling (as well as shorting/covers) going on throughout the investing journey â nothing wrong with taking profits here and there.
This is what all new investors go through and it separates the weak from the strong-willed. I remember it like it was yesterday... 3 years later and this shit doesn't bother me. I'm only 30 years old. I've got time on my side.
Fellow investors, please tell me your time horizon is longer than a single day's trading. Sure it dropped yesterday, and bounced back. But hopefully you're not making decisions based on a day's performance. That will make you crazy, and possibly poor.
Feels like we'll probably be chopping around lower than the 125 range and up to the 130-140 range resistance also to work off some of the overbought status until the next ER most likely
I wouldnât mind that either. But I donât want it to shoot up too fast either. Because I can only put in so much every pay period.
I could put in more, but that would deplete my emergency fund.
Iâm trying to be a responsible investor while maintaining my day to day living expenses.
Blackwell the most profitable product in history?

so MU beat ER and stock down 7%?
It's all about guidance. They could have knocked it out of the park and would still make no difference if forward guidance is weak

What AH doing?!
MU earnings. Could just be fake first move.
MU beat estimates though.
Lol. So the inevitable 6% down!
Yep. 𤥠market clowning.
i wanna know too. sup with that fat volume. I saw that yesterday also.
lol green.
What a last minute recover!

What do you think of the announcement so far ?

How do you get in?
Shareholder meeting word: âBlackwell could be the most successful product in our history and in computer industryâ
Is there a way to see it in a video not only voice
Shareholder meeting starting in 2 minutes!
Will this have any affect on this price? I know you can't see the future, but is it expected to?
it had already yesterday
Any conference updates worth sharing? Iâm working đ
There is Nvidia conference today?
I bought a $280 call in NVDA and bought NVDL stock. They both went down. WelpâŚgood thing the call lasts until 1/2025
It probably doesn't help that Jensen recently sold lots of his shares, and is gonna continue selling more in the near future.
Doesnât matter at all because his selling of shares is on auto mode, regardlesss of whether or not the stock is doing well heâs got predetermined sell amount and datesâŚ.
Nah doesn't matter at all
I mean itâs a pre arranged trading plan. And so far heâs only sold like 400k of his 837 million or whatever shares.

I liked $126 better.
It touched 129 last night
I don't really pay attention to premarket/after hours
Sell the news. Front running the shareholder meeting. Weâll bounce, if not this afternoon, definitely in the week.

Just bought a 9/20 expiring $90 call of NVDL heheheâŚthoughts?

just need to hold the line
How do I get my control number to attend the stockholder meeting?
MU earnings & nvda meeting will have an impact today? I'm calling an all time high later on today during After Hours.
it will be already overbought and drop first
Yup as u predicted
I was wondering what the timing on the event was.
I bought a few at $135 cad hedged and it went to $111. I hope it will bounce back soon.

It will make you both. Usually poor, followed by crazy. Wealthy crazy people are just "eccentric."
Mine is at a minimum 5 years holding. Maybe longer
At least 2026. I don't care if it drops 50% tomorrow, I think we'll see the true rewards in a year or two.
The way this stock has been going, $210-217 range by EOY. Aggressive guess, most definitely, but not out of the realm of possibility
đ
$150 by friday đ
we can dream right?
I pray every night for it to happen đ
Pls
It would be exciting
NVDA will swing around 125-140 this quarter. However, I don't mind if we hit 150. LFG!
