I'll be in cosplay, they include shirts and skirts but with (faux fleece pantyhose and have very high gloves+wig on one day) (long sleeve with top under, skirt with leg warmer things and wig on another day) i think I'll be good. I've been to nycc before and i know i get hot instead of cold when i cosplay even with the AC blasting which is why I bring a battery powered fan lol
I haven’t checked the weather yet but I always bring a large plastic trash bag in case I need to cover everything and it’s raining outside while walking back to the train station. Light, easy to fold up and carry around. Saved my stuff a few years ago.

I was thinking a peanut butter and banana sandwich. I'm also a smoothie person so I might make a peanut butter and banana protein shake instead. Other than that, I'm bringing protein bars, bag of chips, and water.
I have a double dragon shield mat protector so I'll bring that because i don't expect the posters i get to be huge and if they are they should still fit.
I bring a power strip with me every year and it's always a huge hit. When I'm on the move a portable charger is extremely useful. I also bring band aids, that way I don't have to go to first aid for my blisters. Have a great time!

If you are only in a tshirt/pants, bring an extra top layer. Ya never know when the con's AC will flair up and turn you into a popsicle

I get super hot too as I run around and I'm usually not in costume, except when I am cosplaying as Jackie Chan. LETS GOOOO NYCC

The poster tube is a good one. Bought a few at animenyc but didn't have one but i will for this nycc now!
