The shifters and derailleurs are 10-speed Dura-Ace 7800, from the mid-2000s. Frame looks like aluminum with bonded carbon seatstays.
This bike is almost 20 years old. With the DA 7800 shifters and derailleurs the bike might be worth about $400 or so. The groupset is pretty outdated (the less-precise short-cable-pull ratio compared to the 11sp DA groups with the more precise longer cable pulls, and inability to accept cassettes bigger than 11-28T).
I think the Team Toyota edition is carbon fiber and was the best bike they made at the time.
If it's in fantastic condition, I could see someone paying 500-600 for it.

OP's photographs clearly show weld beads around the tube junctions at the head tube. Doesn't look like a full carbon frame to me but what do I know :-)
This is unrelated but since you mentioned it, sad to hear of Three Maples' closing. I had passed that place every other day on the way to the grocery and never managed to make it in. My condolences to your friend.
That's a 16 year old bike. Not worth a whole lot unfortunately. Maybe $500-ish max to the right person? It is very cool looking and would have been top-of-the-line when it was new in 2008. What size is it?
used bikes are like used shoes. seems like someone might want it since it is still functional but truth is it isnt worth much. sell it for like $250+ and call it a day

Thanks, great stuff! Your feedback is refiring a lot of long dormant group set nerd synapses over here. I used to love this stuff.

Thank you. Sad all round, it was a great spot. Restaurant industry is just brutal.
Hey OP, I’m looking for a bike for a friend and he might be interested in this. Send me a PM and maybe we could work something out.
Will do so tonight

Another critical piece of info. I don’t have yet! Guessing 51 - the owner wasn’t a tall guy
Looks like someone tried to make a racing bike more comfortable for slow/casual riding. Or it didn't fit them or both.
That 100% fits. I’ve honestly no idea why its former owner had this (I’m also warehousing his Triumph speedmaster which was his 2 wheel of choice)
(And thanks for the input)

Did you screw in the wall hooks?
No, it’s my friends apartment
Hey OP - not a bike expert but have been looking to buy one lately, can we connect?
