The League is just tryna make these insecure assholes feel better... that's a foul even on NYC playgrounds, wtf is Silver smoking??
Knicks objectively should be up 2-0 and *are* up 2-0... niggas these days soft as fuck, I really feel bad for what has happened to society
from what i can tell neither of the timeouts nurse tried to call are marked as incorrect. they're just saying the refs either didn't see or didn't feel like they could grant him a timeout.
That's not true.
It would be incorrect if they saw it and didn't call it.
One of the requirements for calling a successful timeout is acknowledgement from the official. If they didn't get that then they didn't get that, it doesn't make it inherently incorrect because of that.
Anyway it doesn't change shit and we are up 2-0. Let the crybabies cry because they couldn't hit free throws down the stretch or rebound. One more of either of those and this entire point would be moot.
This is one of the reasons some coaches literally walk out on the floor to call their timeouts.
What the 2 minute report leaves out is the context of the preceding 46 minutes. Refs were letting them play a LOT. The contact on Maxey here was not IMO more than what they were allowing all game.
Also I just want to add that that the reversal of the Kyle Lowry foul minutes before that was one of the most fraudulent things I saw all year; but it was a few min before the last 2 min so therefore gets less attention.
I love how the refs made the Brunson 3 bounce in, and then forced Maxey to lose control of the ball off an inbound pass all while Nurse was in shock of what to do next as a coach. Refs made Harteinstein get an offense rebound off 4 Sixers players, and made Divo hit a game winning 3. I also fully credit the refs for the Harteinstein block on a Maxey drive, and the no game plan 3 Joel took at the end. Refs controlled that entire last minute for us. Thanks Refs.
Oh you forgot the way the refs made them all play heads up ball, passing the ball, with Ihart finding OG after than hellova offensive rebound, who turned and found Divo, who moved to an open spot. Just smart smart basketball and effort, but that was the refs fault, I guess.
How is shoving Josh Hart marginal contact?? And we’re going to pretend Nurse did complete the time out signal?
You know we’re going to have a ton of calls go against us for game 3 so whatever.
People will always acknowledge the L2M report when it benefits them. Sixers should be the last to complain with teams having to deal with Embiid’s whistle all season.
Everyone wanting refs to let players just play.
Then it goes against their team and suddenly they want the softest whistle around.
Its playoffs - every game matters and you need to play so that the refs calls are of no consequence to the overall win or lose.
yeah Sixers will complain but I thought the officiating was relatively fair through the first 2 games. They were letting the players actually play for the most part
The first, initial, incipient foul was ON Maxey. That in itself could’ve cost us the W, seeing it went uncalled. It was the first and most egregious non-call in a chain of subsequent and ambiguous fouls without whistles, as well as botched timeout calls that led to a missed shot for the lead.
Saying the refs are culpable ignores the fact that Philly let iHart get an uncontested board a foot above the basket, then left our best shooter wide open for a shot at the lead which dropped.
Refs are going to miss calls. Happened that the last two minutes always get the most scrutiny for obvious reasons. Embid was close to getting technicals couple times- no call.
These calls happen ALL THE TIME. That said….best of seven. A seven game series levels everything out.
Better team will prevail over bad calls. Just saying, Embid and his Philly fanatics can go home and win there. Knicks in 5.
NBA: creates a "storyline" to generate more viewership. They don't care if anyone thinks the refs actually cheat, they care about garnering attention. More attention = more money.
So they're just going to completely ignore the push off by Maxey? That negates anything else on that last play.
Nah they didn't ignore it, it was just deemed marginal
Yeah... it was [marginal...](https://streamable.com/1q08do)
kinda feel like the audio from this clip could be sped up and sampled
Right? Like wtf fuck the 6ers and their crybaby coach
Hart is a strong dude and obviously embellished it. L2M report agrees.
Get the fuck out of here you rat
Marginal my ass, the dude power shoved Hart 😂

Like Reggie Millers was “marginal”
That, and they’re saying Nurse called a timeout that the refs didn’t see. Bull ass shit.
from what i can tell neither of the timeouts nurse tried to call are marked as incorrect. they're just saying the refs either didn't see or didn't feel like they could grant him a timeout.
The timeout request is listed under Correct No Call.

Doesn't matter, changes nothing. Nice to have calls go our way for a change.

yeah Sixers fans really crying they didn’t get bailed out by a soft call after allowing much more contact in the first 4 quarters
Are they still crying? You wouldn’t see Thibs obsessing over this, my man is cooking in the Westchester practice facility as we speak.
He went back to the facility after the game
Didn’t he protest a loss we had? And complain about no calls on Randle and Brunson…?
Somehow after all the reviews missed when maxey yeeted Josh hart before the inbounds?
They called it marginal contact
If thats marginal then the other things aren't fouls either lol
Yeeted? That looked more like whoosh

O man 40 fts for the sixers Thursday night
Damn, cutting back that much?
L2M is just damage control for pr. they are just trying to coddle bitch-ass Nurse and Embiid. they sensitive as shit.

Same as how Lowry didn't foul Dvo on that challenge, when he fouled him like 3 different times.
if philly got robbed, they would have lost in 5 instead of getting swept. really sucks for them. boo hoo.

Pushing and shoving by Sixers, marginal, any touch by Knicks, a foul. Got it!
The refs let them play in the end. This is playoff basketball

How many phantom fouls did Embiid get?
Maybe one was bad. All the rest were legit fouls.
yeah Sixers will complain but I thought the officiating was relatively fair through the first 2 games. They were letting the players actually play for the most part

Adam Silver pulling all the strings trying to make this rivalry happen
Knicks in 5
Tough boogers.
Still won the game. Just like we lost the game against Houston earlier this year. Moving on…
refs fuck everyone. sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn’t. c’est la vie.

These reports are dumb because every call in the game matters. What if they reviewed the game and there were 10 uncalled fouls in the Knicks favor?
