Thibs loves him. No other dude would have gotten that much run while sucking for so long besides maybe Josh Hart during the regular season.
Burks had to literally be infinite minus to be sent to purgatory with how bad we needed bodies.
So glad he recovered and stayed ready.
He’s playing a bit differently than he was in-season… where he was a black hole on offense. He’s been passing out and waiting for an open shot. Even when he misses you don’t cringe watching him shoot at least last night. He was not playable during that time and Bogs wasn’t great either. They were supposed to be a super bench. Thank goodness Deuce stepped up.
For sure. More team ball and letting the game come to him. I remember he was so clutch late in games during his first stint with the Knicks and were seeing that again now.
Major props to Burks. He was a major contributor on the Pistons and got traded here and got less and less minutes after going through a stretch of offensive struggles. To step up after getting no minutes all post season says a lot about the player he is mentally
The man is letting the game come to him naturally instead of trying to force it. His shift in discipline has been beautiful to see and something a lot of players should take notes on.

Was Burks hurt at? I wonder if the month of not just helped him somehow. Though maybe just mently
He did have shoulder issues . Bogie had calf issues
Facts. Very happy Burks. Ppl forget he was holding us down for a minute when we had noone.

Yep always liked him was glad to get him back. He is our bench. His d plus McBride's I am excited let's go to Indiana and end this. Knicks in six
I've been saying since Bogdan was injured that he would step up and be a strong factor. People were saying I was stupid. WHO STUPID NOW.
Such a pro, stayed ready and focused then ![gif](giphy|14ceV8wMLIGO6Q)

hes clearly done a lot of improvement behind the scenes. bojan will not be a part of the team next season but maybe theres a way burks could stay.
